Anyone who has ridden a CR500R can attest that its like riding a rocket. There is no faster bike in the sand. They vibrate like crazy and your hands and feet will go numb, but there is nothing like them. You definitely need a steering stabilizer.
Doesn't matter if it gets you the race distance... But there's a reason a CR500 hasn't won since 2002, the modern 4 strokes are better suited and have had much more advanced development.
