As a dad to 5 great kids I can feel the pride that both you and Grants parents must feel. To have hard working children that can be counted on to get any job done as the both of you do on a daily basis is a testament to how well you both have been brought up. Hi Laura, you may remember that I once told you that you remind me of the old "I LOVE LUCY' comedy TV program, this would have been exactly the kind of adventure she got a million laughs from. A huge unending corn field, super sticky slick mud, a deep trench, a broken pivate and a positive attitude are all perfect ingredients for the comedy adventure of a lifetime. OMG that was crazy how Laura got so full of mud, take charge lady wow impressed.
Having grown up in an area where we had to pickup rock, nothing like your channel showed about NY, I find myself wondering if maybe next week, when it dries up a bit, if you won't be back out there with a wheelbarrow and a shovel pickup up all that rock! We might have used something like that to help get a tractor unstuck or something, but we would never leave that rock out there to be spread around the field when the soil is worked next spring! Good job by the way, at getting that thing unstuck!

Hello from Raymond Farms, we are a family farm located in the Texas Panhandle. Hope you guys have a bountiful and safe harvest! We are about 7-10 days out from starting harvest here.

You know she's a real farm girl, wet, muddy, job finished and still the best smile to be seen anywhere. I just love the way Laura seems to approach, and tackle any job that comes up on either of the farms. To top it off she lets Grant have the easier task for the pivot job, without complaint. Hoping you dry out enough that harvest goes well this year, looking forward to follow along.
Right. I'm sure Grant offered to do the hard job, but Laura has shown in the past that she wants to do the hard work as well as the easy stuff. She must have told him no, I'll carry the rock bags. And Grant knows her well enough to allow her to do it. She's not just a buckle bunny, or whatever the equivalent is in farm country.
I recently saw a cool video of a stuck tractor getting unstuck by having small logs strapped to the wheels and it worked amazingly well. It was in much deeper mud.
Laura, you are definitely a trooper! There are few girls that work as physically hard as you do, day in and day out. Grant is a lucky guy to have someone like you. (And Grant is a pretty great guy too!) Bless you both! Onward to harvesting!

Laura and Grant love watching you two. You have never been stuck in the mud till you have been in the black land of north east central Texas...it balls up your wheels all the way to the fenders. The dirt roads are about 20 ' wide the only way home is chains and doing 50 mph, what a rush,challenge and bring the pork ribs to put on the grill...you are awesome. 👍👍👍❤🌹

I just watched this video the second time and also read many of the viewers comments. It was just as hilarious the second time around. The information that you put out there is so great I always wondered how the system works
Next time you need to borrow the truck's battery, crank it up then remove the battery, leave the truck running. When ur done borrowing the battery put it back. Drive around a while before turning the truck off to allow the alternator to recharge the battery. Don't do this trick on newer cars, but on old trucks it's money.
