  • Please join me as I maintain and prune my plants. I do this periodically to help my plants put on stronger blooms and stems. I also use this time to tame a few bullies from overtaking others!

    When you said "Run and get your ✂ I thought electric trimmers. You got it! 😊As my husband always tells me, "Right tool for the right job." I love the Sunshine Ligustrum, but it doesn't do well in my area. I love me some sweet potato vine. beautiful!

      Hi Lady! Funny you say that! I went looking for my hand trimmers and couldn't find them! 😅 So I grabbed my electric one. Yeah... Sunshine Ligustrum is a beautiful plant. Couldn't wait to get them once we moved here (from NY)! Thanks for watching!

    The garden looks beautiful. I noticed you were cutting back the sunflowers but what parts do you cut? The actual sunflower or the little leaves that’s around it?

    • @SouthCarolinaTransPlant
      @SouthCarolinaTransPlant  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good Morning Lady! Thank you! I cut back some of the spent flower blooms, only as a matter of personal preference. To make the plants look better. Birds love to feed on their seeds, so I left quite a few. I mentioned that during the video. I was conflicted! Lol! Thanks for watching my videos, liking, and commenting! 🥰

    Do you only prune midsummer? I know your neighbors are envious of your garden.

    • @SouthCarolinaTransPlant
      @SouthCarolinaTransPlant  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Lady! It depends on the plant. My annuals get a harsh pruning 2 - 4 times a season. My perennials get pruned at either beginning or end of a season. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
