I suddenly got an issue with my left trigger that began not pressing smoothly (it kinda feels like there's something in there. IDK). Thanks for the video. I'll try to fix it as I've fixed other console controllers before. This was helpful.
Thanks, fixed my problem in less than 5 min!
Does it work for the 3s
can you the same way but with a pro controller?
Thanks for the video. Is there a Toggle you recommend to eliminate stick drift?
@@bigpappa_ Yes. We do have some on our website.
This is a good video, but you forgot to mention that the top trigger has a pin inside, which comes out to reveal a small piece of aluminum. This is used for the capacitive trigger.
Thanks for the video look for it half a day
Why do you remove the faceplate before the screws?
Gotta take it off to get to the screws.

WOW--you could've destroyed the sensors while prying off the black cover incautiously!!! You should lift the cover in the bottom area where there are no sensors, and once the sensors become visible, continue to pry up the black cover. And, using a firm plastic pry tool is preferable to a metal screwdriver, and the screwdriver is more likely to break the black cover as well as leave permanent pry marks.
I’ve repaired quite a few controllers and never had an issue, but I appreciate the feedback!
I second this, prying open the black cover should be done carefully as the IR sensor diode can be easily damaged during this process.
I definitely hear you, but I’ve repaired probably 2-3 dozen of these units. At this point, I do have a fairly good idea of where to go to avoid damaging things.
Thanks for the video, will have to replace joystick cause my little shit hit the wall several times (joystick is sinking) judging by white marks on controller, he will probably never play again! Better think 100 times before marrying woman with kids!!! I just wanted play resident evil before sleep🤬
