Another idea instead of the Witch's note Guthixian Pouch At the edge of grove wanders a Guthixian druid to look after this precious piece of wilderness. He will sell you a Guthixian pouch for 100k coins and allow you access to the grove afterwards. Upon PVP death the pouch will revert to coins, 90% of its original value and any resources in it will drop to the PKer. The pouch could be that it holds 28? unnoted items (dark crabs, magic logs, rune/addy bars, giant eels) and that it notes them in your inventory with interacting with the pouch in your inventory. Chins, fragments and the metal pieces would still go in the inventory. Infernal eels need to become tradable for this to work tho, which isnt an issue i think This will give the players more inventory space for food and/or gear switches to survive player killers. And will make some skilling activities in the grove less click intensive.
I'm not a particular fan on arbitrary Wilderness fees, I think its silly I have to pay pretty much the entire Varrock economy to one guy so PKers can get some loot from PVMers (or in this case, skillers). I'd prefer if this Guthixian pouch was a drop from bosses, this can also be an opportunity to revitalise some of the high level Wilderness bosses (such as Scorpia)

I think it could be a good idea to change the holy pendant so that you only get the bonus when you're NOT skulled. This way it only benefits skillers/pvmers and it doesn't introduce a new "meta" amulet for pkers. The Wilderness Grove is a great idea and I hope Jagex sees this
This is a great proposition for the resource area. also the Cenoté photographed at @2:45 is in Chichen Iza, Mexico and is a great atmospheric inspo for such a place in game.
I think there’s a skill missing, herblore, and maybe a way to make blighted pots / food, maybe create a lore that there’s a hidden fragment of seren and you extract it from the forinth connected dirt in all skilling activities and then you can imbue the food pots with the fragments and make blighted food that only works on wildy because of connection with the main fragment (it doesn’t have to be seren)
i think restricting it to gathering skills (+ smithing, but you're just processing what you gathered) is better i can assure you if you pose a free herblore training method in here it fails a poll
additional idea - fishing spots that you can fish blighted fish at - there is an improved chance of catching the fish, however lower xp gained. Blighted manta ray, blighted shark, blighted karambwan, etc. would be fishable - the requirement for such fish would also be lower than the non-blighted variants. here fishy fishies!
Honestly, you could expand upon that further. Blighted plants and the likes that could be used to make blighted potions. The plants could be stackable (with a one step creation process. Plant -> special vial?) with the finished potion being able to be noted. Add in some blighted items that aren't already in the game like brews or boosting potions and you've created an area that people have to go to to create them. It could be profitable since it'd be the only way they're getting into the game, but still cheap because they'll be faster and potentially free to make.

Great idea and tied in lore-wise. I'd say keep it the same price as it is currently for entry, and have that drop with the achievement diary completion too, so it can be a way to escape pkers if you have coins etc. love the idea of a box trap store that you can fill or maybe buy from an NPC there for 100 GP each (not expensive but MUCH more than in the shop to make the vendor fit in lore wise)
Came here from the newspost. Love the ideas! About Dark Crabs. They're currently mostly a money maker for the fishers. My husband used to be in a Dark Crab Fishing clan for years. The community basically formed as a 'defence' against PK'ers. Someone even developed a plugin that sounds a doorbell whenever the door of the resource area is opened. The catch rate and xp rates are actually quite well. And the elite diary is so good to make the crabs as exclusive as they are. Reasons behind me saying that, is that this is exactly what makes them money makers. If one is willing to take the risk. So, I feel like there needs to be more careful tweaking in that specific part in the plan. A higher catch rate and/or better xp could lead to huge economical changes. And could potentially drive fishers away if it isn't that much more profitable anymore than other fish.
glad you like the ideas! i think dark crabs are pretty poorly balanced in terms of gp and xp/h (as is a lot of skilling) so making it more desirable would make sense to me and i think there will something similar like the dark crab clan but for the whole grove perhaps, where the community forms a defence against pkers!
Good ideas and rework. One concept to maintain from the old area I think is, if you log out then you are removed from the area either to the entrance/exit. This reduces instant hopping for pkers/scouts/skillers/bots etc
this would be dope to see in game! i think also locking the area behind maybe wilderness medium diary or something of the sort to help keep a good amount of bots out. wont rid them 100% but it prevents suicide bot farming. just to spitball some ideas to lock it behind: mage arena 2, unlock the area with the guthix piece from the mini boss ent thing. wildy diaries, easy/med/hard add a mini quest with krystillia to unlock the area, or just to unlock the note, maybe both. or a nex frozen door type mechanic with some various wildy bosses, or mix static spawns of key pieces in deep wildy, something of the sort. regardless id vote yes 100% even if i dont find myself there too often, it would actually be an attractive part of the wilderness.
@@johnstrad no it wouldnt, the wildy bosses already require med diary for the ability to peek into it, most pkers do it because its very easy to achieve. otherwise they are forced to jump in blind each time they hop
fair point, however i dont think it will be that big of an issue since it will only work on a select few items in the grove. however you could get a nice stack of noted magic logs going for bh runs or noted dark crabs for pvm. but then again its not supper accisible for uims.
Loved this tbh, only issue that i really have is the amulet. i fear it would ironically become bis for actually pking. It would essentially act like a slayer helm once frozen for pkers correct? thats my only issue, 15% is better than any amulet provides offensively at the moment unless i am mistaken.
thanks, nothing about the amulet is set in stone yet of course, i think damage bonus is not the way to go. ive had other ideas like only mage accuracy to insentivize skiller to get the freeze logout or longer freeze immunity afterwards.

from the perspective of someone who only logs into my main to pk, but mostly plays my iron, there has to be a decent mix between survivability and prey vs predator dynamic. the amulet is far, far too strong, rag range is already very powerful which is why you see range tanks with suffering beating the best hybrids in the game in dmm finals, something as simple as 1 recoil ring, 5 veng sacks in combination with this amulet, and some throwaway black d'hide rcb set you will consistently be able to outlast the vast majority of pkers, even ones who outgear you 20:1 price wise. you have to consider the fact that for something like mining, i could be geared with 17 brews, 5 restores 2 combo food, veng sacks and still have room for fragments + crossbow switch, keep in mind im able to do all of this unskulled (i could literally bring zcb, 2 pieces masori and protect item my pick with 0 risk) against a tribrid whos taking like 9 brews, the brid doesn't stand a chance to win that fight. i was so keen for this concept and i still am a big fan, but i promise you without any shadow of a doubt, give me a 18 brews and this amulet and throw me in a 1v1 with manked and im winning, not because im good but because 10% damage 15% accuracy is way bigger than you're giving it credit for edit: i did some maths and ags can hit 91 using this amulet + 4m risk in max gear ags hits well over 99 volatile staff hits over 99 ballista hits mid 80's

this would be cool! I would like if the lava furnace area shoots out lava like other volcanoes in the game, which burns a square of the overgrowth that heals itself in a few seconds.

(Right now it has sword hut escape route, you can spam click the entrance gate as a team so the pker cant go through easliy, theres a convenient fire to cook raw food on, you can run into multi by going east) Also AFKish skilling would be an important selling point to me personally. Since being in the wilderness and perhaps grouping with people is already extra attention and energy you have to divide. Furthermore the ring of wealth (i) is good for skilling in the wildy. Would be an idea for this place to have very good clue drop rates for skillers. Also not sure if you mentioned it, but would be cool to have a system where the longer you stay or the more you have skilled in an area, the more you gain. With enchanced xp, drop, fighting power or clue rates. Further adding to the risk and reward system.

Mooi idee voor de rework, denk alleen wel dat er nog veel meer gefinetuned kan worden. Ik had zelf in de poll ook nog iets genoemd over brawler gloves die je vroeger had om je xp te verhogen in dangerous areas (toen destijds pvp worlds). En misschien dat ze een soort van pk point system in de wildy kunnen maken. Maar wel super mooi voorstel, die recource area van nu lijkt inderdaad echt nergens op en is echt dead content inderdaad.
I think it would make sense to make the amulet defensive somehow. Since a lot of skillers don't pvp and can't fight back. I'm not sure how to make a balanced defensive special effect. Maybe it has the chance to activate a shield that tanks some damage along with a Phoenix amulet like heal below 25 percent health. Maybe it can enhance protection prayers. Or the chance to buff the amount food heals you. Like a sara brew sip heals extra and can overheal you extra similar to an angler. Or a chance to absorb 10 percent damage. Or a passive 10 percent defensive buff. Anyways a defensive effect seems like it would fit the theme better of the necklace that is meant to protect skillers who wear it. Possiblly the necklace could further boost gp per hour while skilling inside the grove?
while i agree with it fitting more for skillers, the tricky part of it is what happens to the normal pk meta? if every pker also uses this it could impact pking in a negative way if this pendant is just a must if its too strong.
@heboxjonge what could be done is simply to disable attack options while using it. Similar to the dihns bulwark. That way, it's something only a skiller would make use of. Or possibly make it work only within a certain region so it doesn't impact the rest of the wild. I think it can be worked out so it doesn't disrupt the pk meta everywhere
Love almost all of this idea! Especially the bit about chinchompas because I would personally love using that part. I don’t believe 10x rate for onyx bolt tips on the eels sounds great because the profit being so large means you’ll be a big target to PKers and that kinda ruins the afk factor. Personally feel like afk but profitable skilling in wildy should be separated from nearby hotspots so you run the chance of nobody coming to kill you. Plus this is a straight GP injection so in singles (if I understand your proposal correctly) it would get botted like crazy and inject too much pure gp in the form of alchables. The botting concern goes for the other aspects as well but especially fishing since there is no resource competition and 100 bots could stack on 1 tile where only a couple could be killed by each PKer. Anyways, still love this design and think some form of this would be an amazing addition
every profitable thing will get botted like crazy, inlc raids and other bosses. all the numbers arent set in stone or anything. 10x eels would maybe be too high yeah but if we make everything 500k/h again the only account there will be bots because nobody wants to go there anymore. slapping medium or hard diary on the grove could work but idk, ty tho
@@heboxjonge yeah I know everything gets botted regardless but specifically because 100 could stack on a tile for fishing without resource competition is my main issue there. At least in revs all the bots have a chance to be killed but they could overwhelm pkers purely by numbers stacking in a single world. All the others couldn’t stack which would feel more like fair game. Essentially angler bot farms become instantly 2-4x more profitable. Again though, love the overall idea and design.
Maybe to prevent logging out as soon as you see a pker you could maybe change the logout mechanics when in the grotto, so more people try to fight back?
In principle I love the idea, but I have a few issues: 1. Without a diary / quest requirement, bots could hang out in the underground area and 1t log out the moment they see another player. 2. Clans could lock down entire worlds, like the old revenant caves, and demand exorbitant payment to skill there. How would you address these?
first off, i dont think we should not bring updates in because we are scared of bots. bots can do any boss pretty much nowadays. 1. a log out timer could be introduced to counter this, however this would also affect real players. 2. I personally think thats good. player driven mmo innit. it kinda sucks that theres always a lot of toxicity coming with that unfort.

Awesome ideas. I'd like to see some kind of favor/currency that is kept on death. It means you get more than just XP if you end up dying, while still giving a reason for PKers to visit

This could buy blighted supplies, skilling boosts (something like under Ice Mountain?), or cosmetics. Makes it less painful if you die to a PKer after an hour of catching chins. Increasing profit by like 10%, but makes it a guaranteed 200k gp/h
I definitely like the idea, I always say they need ways to buff gathering. I guess the issue with that is that its too easy to bot, but since this is a pvp zone, i guess that wouldnt be a problem. Another thing, people already make def pures and stuff for black chins, so it would be interesting to see that meta even further develop, since this is deeper wildy, so the level ranges change. However, it is hard to predict how this will shake out in the economy, since the resources arent unique items, and if this content becomes very popular, it could crash the price a bit, making the profit per hr lower than the 1-2m that you are aiming for. Im sure the idea needs some tweaking, but i like the idea for the dynamic. I may have become a counter pvper if this was a thing before i moved to iron lol
most item prices are already tied to alch values, rune/addy/onyx tips/mage logs and most of the other items have insane daily volumes so that should be fine. only thing that will go down are chins. but keep in mind that there will also be unique drops so that should bump the gp/h up too
Love all the suggestions. I have an additional suggestion. Why not add Raw Blighted Fish to be able to be caught as well and some mechanism to cook them at the lava part of the grove! It might be crazy to have 3 fish types added to that small water spot but I would love a way to skill for Blighted Fish and it could add an additional skill to train there.
not a bad idea for sure. i was also thinking to introduce blighted tools for increased yield instead of the diary buffs (from PoisendPotions video) along side this
i think it could be quite popular, this would be a new and more exciting way of training "unpopular" skills for a lot of profit which you cant get outside of the widlerness. its not for everybody iknow but still
looooove it!! but it should be guthix related rather than saradomin, thats my only "lore change" what an amazing idea, this makes me for the first timer ever actually consider going to wildy, oh and after reading some of the commets here, maybe a third floor with a farming related boss fight, like the one in the farming guild, were its "adds" / small unite helpers/spawn is a corrupted version of the herbibore so during the boss fight you get herbs + herb xp, but this would probably be a seed drop that is decently rare from the magic tree
well the saradomin lore is more so from the godwars as saradomin forces had the area lockeddown at some point. im not sure about a thrid floor, might make it too bloated.
I think this is fantastic. I will say this, I believe in high risk and high reward. The necklace and the key ring should both be non tradable as well as be worth a lot in coins when you die from a player in wildy. On top of that, why not have high exp rates as well as money, high risk high reward!
I feel like a more appropriate furnace would be the mountain where you craft the wards, with a rework obviously. Having a furnace inside the grove I think defeats the purpose of noting and unnoting items
I love it but I think it should be lower wilderness level, if I'm skilling my my level 90 for example why should level 126's be able to shit on me when I can't defend myself? Just a thought
All around pretty awesome idea. I'd like the see the amulet remove the ability to be fully frozen/entangled and make it be stuck on walk instead of run. For people that aren't into PVP the freeze log/step under step out of modern day pking is awful game play experience. Still being able to move would allow some more feedback in the system but still give the pker's a chance to thwart the retreat.

i support your changes. Hear me out. what about a new wilderness area/map in the new valamore area map update? maybe have it at the bottom southern part of the map like how its in the north of the map now. with a ship / water battle field for sailing pvp/pvm. i think they are trying to focus new content on the new area map so we can get new content while keeping the rest of osrs map original as possible. i think its a smart move.
Increase catch rate rather than loot for chins, it's so much more satisfying to do. Catching chins with 100% catch rate in trailblazer leagues was the most fun I've had skilling in years.

really good and thorough suggestion. and also resource already has the best fishing method (2t darkcrabs with an alt). I recommend making a guide on that since its really good but no one knows about it.
Mandrith could be updated to being a guthix servant offering a period of protection in the grove (say 1 hr) but this does not apply outside meaning the skillers danger is still exiting the grove. also when your timer is up in the grove you are open to being attacked by anyone.
it would be pretty cool is the lower level was a safe zone and then the only risk is banking, it would probably make it useful instead of dead on release. Or if this was just added to varrock multi area in lvl 4-5 wildy to breathe some life back into that area for nostalgia
the wilderness fees are bs, should remove the current ones not add more. Optional witches note can be purchased for 100k to be used to the skillers own benefit. that’s it. no requirement for a fee.
Yeah I think a pker should be able to get a skilling buff they can use after getting a pk or killstreak as well so people can pk and skill at the same time

Great idea and tied in lore-wise. I'd say keep it the same price as it is currently for entry, and have that drop with the achievement diary completion too, so it can be a way to escape pkers if you have coins etc. love the idea of a box trap store that you can fill or maybe buy from an NPC there for 100 GP each (not expensive but MUCH more than in the shop to make the vendor fit in lore wise)

About Dark Crabs. They're currently mostly a money maker for the fishers. My husband used to be in a Dark Crab Fishing clan for years. The community basically formed as a 'defence' against PK'ers. Someone even developed a plugin that sounds a doorbell whenever the door of the resource area is opened.
The catch rate and xp rates are actually quite well. And the elite diary is so good to make the crabs as exclusive as they are. Reasons behind me saying that, is that this is exactly what makes them money makers. If one is willing to take the risk. So, I feel like there needs to be more careful tweaking in that specific part in the plan. A higher catch rate and/or better xp could lead to huge economical changes. And could potentially drive fishers away if it isn't that much more profitable anymore than other fish.
glad you like the ideas! i think dark crabs are pretty poorly balanced in terms of gp and xp/h (as is a lot of skilling) so making it more desirable would make sense to me and i think there will something similar like the dark crab clan but for the whole grove perhaps, where the community forms a defence against pkers!

Good ideas and rework. One concept to maintain from the old area I think is, if you log out then you are removed from the area either to the entrance/exit. This reduces instant hopping for pkers/scouts/skillers/bots etc
this would be dope to see in game! i think also locking the area behind maybe wilderness medium diary or something of the sort to help keep a good amount of bots out. wont rid them 100% but it prevents suicide bot farming.
just to spitball some ideas to lock it behind:
mage arena 2, unlock the area with the guthix piece from the mini boss ent thing.
wildy diaries, easy/med/hard
add a mini quest with krystillia to unlock the area, or just to unlock the note, maybe both.
or a nex frozen door type mechanic with some various wildy bosses, or mix static spawns of key pieces in deep wildy, something of the sort.
regardless id vote yes 100% even if i dont find myself there too often, it would actually be an attractive part of the wilderness.

@@johnstrad no it wouldnt, the wildy bosses already require med diary for the ability to peek into it, most pkers do it because its very easy to achieve. otherwise they are forced to jump in blind each time they hop

fair point, however i dont think it will be that big of an issue since it will only work on a select few items in the grove. however you could get a nice stack of noted magic logs going for bh runs or noted dark crabs for pvm. but then again its not supper accisible for uims.

Loved this tbh, only issue that i really have is the amulet. i fear it would ironically become bis for actually pking. It would essentially act like a slayer helm once frozen for pkers correct? thats my only issue, 15% is better than any amulet provides offensively at the moment unless i am mistaken.
thanks, nothing about the amulet is set in stone yet of course, i think damage bonus is not the way to go. ive had other ideas like only mage accuracy to insentivize skiller to get the freeze logout or longer freeze immunity afterwards.

not something I personally would enjoy but I feel like this could be a great way to slowly pull the whole exp grind away from skilling and make it more into a money maker and something people want to do for money rather than just the exp
fantastic idea
from the perspective of someone who only logs into my main to pk, but mostly plays my iron, there has to be a decent mix between survivability and prey vs predator dynamic. the amulet is far, far too strong, rag range is already very powerful which is why you see range tanks with suffering beating the best hybrids in the game in dmm finals, something as simple as 1 recoil ring, 5 veng sacks in combination with this amulet, and some throwaway black d'hide rcb set you will consistently be able to outlast the vast majority of pkers, even ones who outgear you 20:1 price wise. you have to consider the fact that for something like mining, i could be geared with 17 brews, 5 restores 2 combo food, veng sacks and still have room for fragments + crossbow switch, keep in mind im able to do all of this unskulled (i could literally bring zcb, 2 pieces masori and protect item my pick with 0 risk)
against a tribrid whos taking like 9 brews, the brid doesn't stand a chance to win that fight. i was so keen for this concept and i still am a big fan, but i promise you without any shadow of a doubt, give me a 18 brews and this amulet and throw me in a 1v1 with manked and im winning, not because im good but because 10% damage 15% accuracy is way bigger than you're giving it credit for
edit: i did some maths and ags can hit 91 using this amulet + 4m risk
in max gear ags hits well over 99
volatile staff hits over 99
ballista hits mid 80's

this would be cool! I would like if the lava furnace area shoots out lava like other volcanoes in the game, which burns a square of the overgrowth that heals itself in a few seconds.

@@heboxjonge we love the overlooked 1-click afk fishing spot. We are a clan to stay save in numbers, have anti-pkers, niche tricks to escape pkers and multiple people with 200m fish exp. Its an on invitation clan chat channel.

@@heboxjongewould be nice if the new area had multiple unique escape routes. (Right now it has sword hut escape route, you can spam click the entrance gate as a team so the pker cant go through easliy, theres a convenient fire to cook raw food on, you can run into multi by going east)
Also AFKish skilling would be an important selling point to me personally. Since being in the wilderness and perhaps grouping with people is already extra attention and energy you have to divide.
Furthermore the ring of wealth (i) is good for skilling in the wildy. Would be an idea for this place to have very good clue drop rates for skillers.
Also not sure if you mentioned it, but would be cool to have a system where the longer you stay or the more you have skilled in an area, the more you gain. With enchanced xp, drop, fighting power or clue rates. Further adding to the risk and reward system.

Mooi idee voor de rework, denk alleen wel dat er nog veel meer gefinetuned kan worden. Ik had zelf in de poll ook nog iets genoemd over brawler gloves die je vroeger had om je xp te verhogen in dangerous areas (toen destijds pvp worlds). En misschien dat ze een soort van pk point system in de wildy kunnen maken. Maar wel super mooi voorstel, die recource area van nu lijkt inderdaad echt nergens op en is echt dead content inderdaad.
As both a skiller and pker this would be so much fun. it wouldnt break the game. I like it.
I think it would make sense to make the amulet defensive somehow. Since a lot of skillers don't pvp and can't fight back. I'm not sure how to make a balanced defensive special effect. Maybe it has the chance to activate a shield that tanks some damage along with a Phoenix amulet like heal below 25 percent health. Maybe it can enhance protection prayers. Or the chance to buff the amount food heals you. Like a sara brew sip heals extra and can overheal you extra similar to an angler. Or a chance to absorb 10 percent damage. Or a passive 10 percent defensive buff. Anyways a defensive effect seems like it would fit the theme better of the necklace that is meant to protect skillers who wear it. Possiblly the necklace could further boost gp per hour while skilling inside the grove?
while i agree with it fitting more for skillers, the tricky part of it is what happens to the normal pk meta? if every pker also uses this it could impact pking in a negative way if this pendant is just a must if its too strong.
@heboxjonge what could be done is simply to disable attack options while using it. Similar to the dihns bulwark. That way, it's something only a skiller would make use of. Or possibly make it work only within a certain region so it doesn't impact the rest of the wild. I think it can be worked out so it doesn't disrupt the pk meta everywhere

Love almost all of this idea! Especially the bit about chinchompas because I would personally love using that part. I don’t believe 10x rate for onyx bolt tips on the eels sounds great because the profit being so large means you’ll be a big target to PKers and that kinda ruins the afk factor. Personally feel like afk but profitable skilling in wildy should be separated from nearby hotspots so you run the chance of nobody coming to kill you. Plus this is a straight GP injection so in singles (if I understand your proposal correctly) it would get botted like crazy and inject too much pure gp in the form of alchables. The botting concern goes for the other aspects as well but especially fishing since there is no resource competition and 100 bots could stack on 1 tile where only a couple could be killed by each PKer. Anyways, still love this design and think some form of this would be an amazing addition
every profitable thing will get botted like crazy, inlc raids and other bosses. all the numbers arent set in stone or anything. 10x eels would maybe be too high yeah but if we make everything 500k/h again the only account there will be bots because nobody wants to go there anymore. slapping medium or hard diary on the grove could work but idk, ty tho
@@heboxjonge yeah I know everything gets botted regardless but specifically because 100 could stack on a tile for fishing without resource competition is my main issue there. At least in revs all the bots have a chance to be killed but they could overwhelm pkers purely by numbers stacking in a single world. All the others couldn’t stack which would feel more like fair game. Essentially angler bot farms become instantly 2-4x more profitable. Again though, love the overall idea and design.
Love the ideas and the lore. Maybe they could add a quest with a lot of cutscenes to explain the lore to us.
Maybe a mini-quest, to prevent people getting butthurt of having to go to deep-wildy to get their quest cape.

In principle I love the idea, but I have a few issues:
1. Without a diary / quest requirement, bots could hang out in the underground area and 1t log out the moment they see another player.
2. Clans could lock down entire worlds, like the old revenant caves, and demand exorbitant payment to skill there.
How would you address these?
first off, i dont think we should not bring updates in because we are scared of bots. bots can do any boss pretty much nowadays.
1. a log out timer could be introduced to counter this, however this would also affect real players.
2. I personally think thats good. player driven mmo innit. it kinda sucks that theres always a lot of toxicity coming with that unfort.
The resource area could definitely do with a rework - such a random square of useless content atm.

Awesome ideas. I'd like to see some kind of favor/currency that is kept on death. It means you get more than just XP if you end up dying, while still giving a reason for PKers to visit

@@heboxjonge It wouldn't be anything extreme, but when gathering supplies, you get something that you keep on death. This could buy blighted supplies, skilling boosts (something like under Ice Mountain?), or cosmetics. Makes it less painful if you die to a PKer after an hour of catching chins.

I definitely like the idea, I always say they need ways to buff gathering. I guess the issue with that is that its too easy to bot, but since this is a pvp zone, i guess that wouldnt be a problem. Another thing, people already make def pures and stuff for black chins, so it would be interesting to see that meta even further develop, since this is deeper wildy, so the level ranges change.
However, it is hard to predict how this will shake out in the economy, since the resources arent unique items, and if this content becomes very popular, it could crash the price a bit, making the profit per hr lower than the 1-2m that you are aiming for.
Im sure the idea needs some tweaking, but i like the idea for the dynamic. I may have become a counter pvper if this was a thing before i moved to iron lol
most item prices are already tied to alch values, rune/addy/onyx tips/mage logs and most of the other items have insane daily volumes so that should be fine. only thing that will go down are chins. but keep in mind that there will also be unique drops so that should bump the gp/h up too

Love all the suggestions. I have an additional suggestion. Why not add Raw Blighted Fish to be able to be caught as well and some mechanism to cook them at the lava part of the grove! It might be crazy to have 3 fish types added to that small water spot but I would love a way to skill for Blighted Fish and it could add an additional skill to train there.

i think it could be quite popular, this would be a new and more exciting way of training "unpopular" skills for a lot of profit which you cant get outside of the widlerness. its not for everybody iknow but still
looooove it!! but it should be guthix related rather than saradomin, thats my only "lore change" what an amazing idea, this makes me for the first timer ever actually consider going to wildy, oh and after reading some of the commets here, maybe a third floor with a farming related boss fight, like the one in the farming guild, were its "adds" / small unite helpers/spawn is a corrupted version of the herbibore so during the boss fight you get herbs + herb xp, but this would probably be a seed drop that is decently rare from the magic tree
well the saradomin lore is more so from the godwars as saradomin forces had the area lockeddown at some point. im not sure about a thrid floor, might make it too bloated.

I think this is fantastic. I will say this, I believe in high risk and high reward. The necklace and the key ring should both be non tradable as well as be worth a lot in coins when you die from a player in wildy. On top of that, why not have high exp rates as well as money, high risk high reward!

I feel like a more appropriate furnace would be the mountain where you craft the wards, with a rework obviously. Having a furnace inside the grove I think defeats the purpose of noting and unnoting items
you wouldnt be able to unnote items. volcano thing could work but seems meh, a furnace needs to be in the grove anyway for the achievment diaries
I love it but I think it should be lower wilderness level, if I'm skilling my my level 90 for example why should level 126's be able to shit on me when I can't defend myself? Just a thought

All around pretty awesome idea. I'd like the see the amulet remove the ability to be fully frozen/entangled and make it be stuck on walk instead of run. For people that aren't into PVP the freeze log/step under step out of modern day pking is awful game play experience. Still being able to move would allow some more feedback in the system but still give the pker's a chance to thwart the retreat.
Atleast adding a 50 percent chance to break free from the freeze after 5 seconds and walk for 5 seconds would be nice

Hear me out. what about a new wilderness area/map in the new valamore area map update? maybe have it at the bottom southern part of the map like how its in the north of the map now. with a ship / water battle field for sailing pvp/pvm. i think they are trying to focus new content on the new area map so we can get new content while keeping the rest of osrs map original as possible. i think its a smart move.
Increase catch rate rather than loot for chins, it's so much more satisfying to do. Catching chins with 100% catch rate in trailblazer leagues was the most fun I've had skilling in years.
It was fun for sure, but this would make it the best hunter xp/h in game and makes players feel forced to hunt here which I want to avoid

Mandrith could be updated to being a guthix servant offering a period of protection in the grove (say 1 hr) but this does not apply outside meaning the skillers danger is still exiting the grove. also when your timer is up in the grove you are open to being attacked by anyone.

the wilderness fees are bs, should remove the current ones not add more. Optional witches note can be purchased for 100k to be used to the skillers own benefit. that’s it. no requirement for a fee.
