Yes sir, I just picked mine up two days ago. Been upgrading it now I’m so itching to get in the water but damnit I gotta work, probably be sick tomorrow!!!! Lmao keep the yak videos coming man!!!
Good rule of thumb is stand a paddle up next to you and when reaching straight up you should be able to wrap your fingers around the top edge of the paddle
I noticed that too. I’m not looking for a big expensive kayak to take home and polish every time I use it. I don’t want to be afraid of rubbing up against rocks, tree limbs and bridge columns.
No I got a steal on it off Facebook marketplace for dirt cheap almost a year ago. I mostly fish out of my Jon not and just use my kayak for small pond hopping
Got this kayak from Dicks today. It was wrapped in plastic so I didn’t see the scupper holes had not been punched out. Called Lifetime and they said to return it.
I loved that review on the Lifetime Teton Angler. Yup not the best stability when standing up...but it's cool, lightweight, great for those small ponds where you KNOW there's some big bass just waiting!
@@TexasReelnFishing AHH Yeah i have that one as well and did a review on it last year. They just came out with the tamarack pro version a couple months ago.
haha this guy seems like he would be fun to hang out with. I just bought this same kayak at dicks ,I have another kayak that is a sit inside type and it definitely will move thru the water much faster but its real tippy and being a little bit on the husky side it is hard for me to get in and out of it without makin a scene and or getting wet and or dumping entire kayak over so I figured the sit on top kind would be better, some things on this one seem cheap like the connections where the carry handles are are just plastic loops and the side ones are little screws directly into the plastic...honestly look like they would rip out pretty easy but overall for the price I think its good! there are always ways to make repairs or rework things like that if they do fail anyway as long as you aren't worried about it being really pretty. looking forward to taking mine out this weekend . I think it will be slow but stable and just easier to use than the kind I have where you are stuffed into a little cockpit and dont dare twist or move around much! also such good amount of deck area for gear , sit insides fail miserably when it comes to being able to access anything while on the water. good review.
snagged one of these basically brand new off marketplace for 200 lol the seat is the main reason i got it
Why do you have the golf balls under the seat?
Using them as scupper plugs.
Do Y'all want to see more Kayaking videos?
Hell ya!!
Yes sir, I just picked mine up two days ago. Been upgrading it now I’m so itching to get in the water but damnit I gotta work, probably be sick tomorrow!!!! Lmao keep the yak videos coming man!!!
Si wey
I’m thinking about buying me this kayak. Any suggestions my brotha 🤙🏽🤙🏽
The tamarack pro is cheaper and basically the same. It’s decent for the price but those $800+ kayaks really do feel wayy better.
So you just use foam golf balls to plug the holes? Just put them in there and they do the trick?
Foam golf balls are the perfect size for pretty much all scupper holes in kayaks. I've been using them for years.
What fish finder is that?
Literally just picked up the exact same color Teton can’t wait to get it the water
Me 2 bud
I got the same exact kyak a month or so ago. The seat sold me on it. I paid $399 but I still think it's worth it. Thanks for the review!
Damn, I’m lookin at these now. Field and Stream has a bunch of them for $480.
@@JonBecker81 I bought mine at Dicks Sporting Goods
Pronunciation is like “tee tawn”
where did you mount the transducer for the fish finder?
In one of the scupper holes
Hey brother, great review! Quick question - what size paddle do you use when on this kayak? Thanks!
Good rule of thumb is stand a paddle up next to you and when reaching straight up you should be able to wrap your fingers around the top edge of the paddle
Thanks for the review. You beat the shit out of that thing. That’s why I’m buying one
I noticed that too. I’m not looking for a big expensive kayak to take home and polish every time I use it. I don’t want to be afraid of rubbing up against rocks, tree limbs and bridge columns.
Glad I watched this... definitely getting a kayak for next yr💪🏾🎣
Just got mine. Can’t wait until it warms up a bit
Bro, great review. I was looking into this one at DSG too. you may have sold me! tight lines! -Knotty
Did you buy that new? Looks like it's got some river rash on it already! It's fun fishing out of a kayak, although I usually take the big boat.
No I got a steal on it off Facebook marketplace for dirt cheap almost a year ago. I mostly fish out of my Jon not and just use my kayak for small pond hopping
What did you use to plug the holes?
Foam golf balls
Nicely done - direct and to the point.
Thank you kindly!
$450 these days
$479
Build back better?!!
Have to get 1 and do some modification for outriggers. Thanks
Just got this model. Thanks for the vid
i got a bad back so great review gunna take a look at this
Cool kayak
Lifetime just came out with a brand new fishing kayak too.
Awesome
Anyone happen to know where to buy this exact replacement seat?
You can Oder them off lifetimes website just email customer service
Georgia Bassmasters Okay I’ll try that thank you!
Are you using the included paddle?
Allan Jackman no an ozark trail. The paddle it comes with is too bendy and doesn’t work too well.
Got this kayak from Dicks today. It was wrapped in plastic so I didn’t see the scupper holes had not been punched out. Called Lifetime and they said to return it.
@Chris Chen I purchased this exact yak and the scupper holes weren't cut out all the way either. I used a utility knife and am good to go.

Lifetime just came out with a brand new fishing kayak this year. I may have to invest in one.
@@GeorgiaBassmaster Sweet, will be awesome to check out that review!!
7:00 LOL!
I have a lifetime kayak as well just not that same model. Great review brother
Which model do you have?
@@GeorgiaBassmaster I have the lifetime tamarack fishing kayak
@@TexasReelnFishing AHH Yeah i have that one as well and did a review on it last year. They just came out with the tamarack pro version a couple months ago.
@@GeorgiaBassmaster I'm gonna check that new one out see what it's made of thanks
You get way better balance if you stand on the side of the seat. I’m 5’11 145lbs so it may be easier for me then you, but I say give it a try.
That's an awesome little pond, I need to hit that up.
Nice looking kayak!
Or one similar that would fit the same

Thanks for the comment man! Have a good one
Holy cow wash that thing😜
LOL
Were you really wearing boots in ur kayak? They must be WAY comfortable!!! I enjoyed ur video.
Haha I usually do because where I have to walk thru there are lots of snakes.
Oh, then, I don't blame you!!! Stay safe!
Sox and crocs lol
The only way to go!
Nice...
Come on feed back
Nice to see I'm not the only one who yaks in crocs, I've got the same kayak and I love it. Great video, gave you a subscribe, check out my channel!
Almost same color as my 11.5 lure. That’s nice brother....when we going fishing?
Anytime, where did you say you were again?
