- The Evolution of Wooly from all the Games and released tapes in one! Showing his Evolution from the Old Game (demos), the demos in between and then the new game itself. See his old and new voice and how his character has changed. Think is Wooly the Bad Guy? I dont think he is and we can see this here.
To Riley’s surprise, it’s an early 2000’s era children’s cartoon they have never seen before. It appears to have been made locally and features a little girl named Amanda and her loyal yet shy best friend, Wooly the Sheep. While the episode appears charming and simple on the surface, an uneasiness starts to settle in as Riley realizes that Amanda and Wooly seem to be communicating directly through the television set. A gnawing feeling in the back of their mind presses them to stop, but Riley is compelled to continue watching the tapes. It’s almost as if Amanda needs something, and Riley becomes fascinated with finding out what that something may be.

Is it just me or was the demo version a lot more eerier and fear inducing than the complete game?
Yeah, I don’t know why, but somehow the audio and low graphics make it feel like a real cursed VHS tape.
I think it’s because of Wooly actually telling the person and it looking more like a real VHS tape. But I definitely appreciate the newer one more, it looks so good!
not entirely sure but the old version has dull tones and felt unnerving to watch even a happy tape at times, apart from the audio quality making it look more like a vsh
Not just you. I liked the fact that we never saw the monster in person.
The older ones felt more primitive and felt like something from the early 90’s, Veggietales was in production around the early 90’s.
I remember that i watched people played the old version of Amanda The Adventurer it kinda brings me nostalgia 😭

Fun fact: the reason amanda tried to kill wooly in the first place is because amanda was an original human girl and then her soul was trapped in the show wich was Amanda the adventurer and wooly was trying to get her on script and so Amanda would stop trying to break down she didn't know how to conduct herself and so she was trying to kill wolly because really wooly is the bad guy here. As far as the old one goes. The demo. Wooly is most likely the good guy in that one to be honest

How is Wooly the bad guy? He was trying to warn the player (riley) of Amanda’s true nature
No because at the beginning of the game when Amanda tries to reach out to Kate by sending her a note and cookies. Wooly clearly tries to stop her by saying the stores are closing and we can come back tomorrow. And when you type the name Kate, you can clearly see that wooly gets upset.
After that they go back to the store where she wants to by a card for a friend (Kate- the woman that’s trying to help her) but they brain washed her…that’s why wooly keeps cutting her off and lying about it being his birthday. But it’s very clear that amanda doesn’t remember it being his birthday. They are just brainwashing her. That’s why the camera statics every time she is trying to think clearly.
Also look how afraid she is of the meat market. She also hinted that she feels like she is rotting (like a piece of meat)
Wooly isn't bad, he was terrified like Amanda but for some reasons he kinda accepted his fate
