Insane CAD work. The sun light takes this to the next level. The rumbled bed and jeans over the rod, perfect touch. I couldn't focus on the floor plan as I was amazed at the skill of the artist. Bravo.

I want these plans! But as others have said, move the fridge closer to sink, or sink into island (add wet bar where sink was). I also want to add a nice wide step down to family room off the back of the great room (about 250-300 sq./ft.) More for lounging, while the Great room can be for entertaining/living room. Otherwise it makes the Mrs. and I very happy.

Sink,fridge and stove too far apart. Love bath and utility. Love garage. Would use bar for most dining. Formal dining off to the unseen area from front door, overlooking a great view of outdoors area . Put living furniture in front of walk in view, with entrance table to break it up. Remove all barn doors, change to French doors.
You’re right on. We are building this house and the area right to the right of the front door will be used for the dinning room and that frees up that area between the living room and the kitchen for possibly a pool table or just for an additional seating area. We also moved the fridge to the right of the stove to be closer to the sink. Really good take on things 👍🏼

Agreed, there actually is an area just to the right of the front door that can be modified to be used as a dinning room so that you can then use that space ahead for another purpose. At least that’s what we are doing.

I am IN LOVE with the look of this house, but do not like the open dining/living room. I would like to reduce the kitchen size & add a semi closed dining room. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Agree. Obsession with open floor plans drives me nuts. Especially living rooms, because it forces everyone to listen to the same TV show. I prefer a semi-open floor plan with connections between rooms, and a separate den style living room so you can read a book while someone else watches noisy TV, and keep the peace (literally!).

I've already bought this plan and seeing the rendering makes it look small. Is it truly over 3100 square feet? I'm nervous and thoroughly appreciative and thankful for the computer rendering. I'm checking out more of your renderings. I love them and they're truly helpful.
This home is gorgeous and it’s much bigger than it appears in the video. We are a couple of months away from
completing ours and it’s a showstopper. Good luck with your build. That back porch is massive. I think you’re going to be surprised how good it looks once it all comes together.

This looks like it could be built with a steel frame construction with interior vertical beams covered in brick and horizontal ceiling cross beams covered in wood. Can anyone comment as to whether this is the case, or could be?
Our plans are designed with traditional framing (2x4 with an option for 2x6 exterior framing). Your plans would need to be reviewed by someone local that is familiar with steel framing to discuss options.
can this home be build with cathedral ceiling in dining and great area with 10 feet ceiliing in the kitchen

Would be intrested to know how much the average cost to build something like this.this house is beautiful and has all the things we are looking for.this would also look good with the bifold doors that open up the house to the outside for a cool entertainment space.

We did it, their estimate was 680k. But I assume that's contractor doing everything. I think you could get it sub-400k if you did a lot of work yourself and used local guys in a lower income area.
@@thomasvanslambrouck130 Did you build this exact same house? If that is so terrific we are building it as well. My builder is doing it for 487k which is a steal in central Florida. We added an 18 foot by 14.8 foot A frame covered area off of the non master side of the house. We will be breaking ground soon. We’d love to see some pics of your home if you’d like to share. Nice design. But not practical fridge away far from the sink. It should be closer! In order, fridge, sink, & oven. Modern design looks great but practical & security it sucks !
Good observation, I’m going to have my builder move the fridge to the right of the range.

O my goodness this is amazing we NEED and open concept because we like to entertain and and and we need barn doors and and and ship lap and and and we need white cabinets and grey light light grey walls and stuff and a lot of light just a lot of light everywhere a whole full of big huge windows and almost no color anywhere in our house also NEED hardwood or tile no carpet anywhere carpet is to warm and inviting to all the people who we like to entertain because I’ve seen all this on hgtv so now it’s what we NEED and MUST have especially that open concept part because we like to entertain that what we really like to do and we cannot possibly entertain unless everyone is in the same room all the time irrespective of the mess and noise of a kitchen.

Pretty house, but not for us. Complex roof design adds a lot of cost and is ho hum architecturally, as well as making an high performing energy envelope very chalenging. There are just a ton cuts, angles, and seams for a very boiler plate look. Long axis of house covered by porches shading out south facing glass. Probably great for a hot climate, but I am closer to Canada. Floor plan is too open and noisy for introverts. Very pretty though. A lot of the interior concepts are very attractive.
