I highly doubt its birds, there's 1000s of those big birds near me and it doesn't seem to bother any of the local tilapia farmers. They have sticks poking up all over the pond so people can't throw cast nets in. I remember the shrimp pond you leased had sticks in also when you first got it, I think you removed them because you didn't know what they were for.
It looks like those tilapia are going to eat your lunch and the profit of your land sale. A lot of expense going into to them plus labor and little profit. Think I'd find a hobby or something to keep busy that is less costly. Wishing you the best always.
The Thai's do NOT do that ,,, well there may be one or two. I have spent YEARS in total in Thailand , mostly the North East Isaan area ,, and NEVER seen what you describe. The one exception was Paak Buong ( Kangkong)
Sometimes we win some and at other times we lose. Great job man! I have full respect to you and Ate for working hard as a team. I am also doing talapia in Leyte
@@Raymon2144Yup. Tell him there's a big child eating dragon in there that only the parents can protect him from. It will help him stay away from the water when the parents aren't watching
Now you know why I stopped farming tilapia. You cant trust your neighbors. Set up a CCTV system and make it obviously seen. Post a sign saying there are cameras. Yes you do need to cover the pond or small nets to keep the birds out. I use to be amazed on how oblivious Filipinos were to birds eating the fish. It's like they couldn't do anything about it.

Maybe you could buy a catch net with big mesh squares for the pond. That way you only catch the larger fish when you cast your net.
What happened to Gina and Red?
Nothing to do with Brian go ask her.
Lacking the cracking at the moment, it will come good, STAY TUNED.
Try float a sheet of foam on top of the water and grow rice or vegetables like the Thai do. The video of it showed up on my timeline a while back.

I saw the Long John Silver fish poaching drone flying past taking you fish for his fish fry restaurant.
I would try and harvest the pond itself
Agree white wolf
Well there's no way to keep the boy out of the water 😅😅
Water is always a worry with kids around, he might need a scare to keep him away from water when his parents are not watching.

Ah got it I remember the talapia barron (Charlie) with a fishing rod, sold them road side.
Also buy a infrared camera to see what's happening at night.
Try throwing some feed in open area, see if the fish are there, I would agree someone is taking them at night
If they haven't jumped out they have been taken. A cheap camera connected to your phone, set up at night tell now one.
Carefull I think they are flying fish and not tilapia
The fact that the first net had less fish than the secound is telling
Yes William someone's in the now and the box to take the fish out of, another inside job?
You need a cctv cam down there. Only way to know for sure

Haven't seen 1 thing you've done that made money. Always an excuse.
