This is definitely in his top three! The vocals are incredible, not many people can pull that off. You have to watch closely just to see him take a breath and a couple times he doesn't and still belts it out! Deserves all of his success!
Luke combs is the only one who can get me to cry at some songs. This one got me and “Even Though I’m Leaving” heard the dog a few months after having my first son and fucking hell what a range of emotions I went through. Lol

If your a parent or sibling or friend you know that one phone call can change your whole life in seconds the fear you feel your heart racing in your throat the tears running down your face you have one mission and that's to get to your loved one as fast as you can. Ive gotten that phone call from my own baby sister and niece she was 1yrs old at the time thankfully they were okay but a couple of months later we got another call from my brother in law saying my sister in law was gone she was only 21. Kids don't understand we can always buy a new vehicle but we can't buy a new you. Please be careful stop playing with these vehicles they don't have feelings like our mothers and fathers and family.

Yup. I’m a lyricist and a vocalist/pianist….this song struck me through my heart with that line about the crash. Lost my little brother to a crash in 2014 😢❤
