These "Forgotten Family" thugs carry a lot of the same similarities of the mobsters from Pathfinders stories from the outlands video. It's a little hard to tell cuz there's not really any major symbols that stand out but their outfits and aesthetics seem to carry very well. Black with gold trim or gold ornate detailing.
And, though it might not be a connection, having a known gangster named Big Sister, which, you know, sisters are a family unit, makes me think she might be connected somehow. Idk; Big Sister's lore is mostly lost on me. All I know is she has been with Rampart and people theorize she might be Crypto's sister.
The idea of OG Newcastle being a terribly trained, kinda evil dude having his place being taken by a war trained veteran that actually cares for people is an awesome idea.
I think the characters, storytelling, and VOICE ACTING is so underrated for Apex. Compared to other multiplayer games, let alone shooters, Apex is pretty high in terms of putting in a real effort.
This is actually really good lore already. I think it's also a great way to explain why it took "Newcastle" so many attempts to get in even though it's Jackson.

My guess is that Jackson saw the opportunity during the Gridiron Cinematic to fake his death so he can fully leave the IMC and live somewhere else in peace. It seems kinda selfish to me that he'd leave all that time while his sister never stopped trying to look for him and was grieving his loss.

However Bangalore rejected that as she stands for the IMC through thick and thin. So Jackson has been living comfortably as a dad & husband since we last saw him. Likewise, Jackson wasn’t the one who failed 40 times to get in the game, it was his buddy. So basically the original Newcastle messed getting on games for 40th time (he was doing to pay his debt to some kind of gang or whatever) and Jackson decides to help him, and takes his callsign and gear. And no his memory wasn't damaged he remembers his sis. How can you trust me? Well there's not much time left 'till release so...
An him begin the one who fixes the suit gives him enough knowledge to know how it works plus he's a soldier so he knows how to play on a team which makes sense that he made it in he had what the original didn't
i'm glad that the fans get to move with the story along with the Game itself it really does feel good. its like your watching a shounen anime but instead of an anime or Marvel Avenger alliance, you play the game
really well made trailer. the last few trailera have been underwhelming to me both in storytelling and in production quality, but this one really knocks it out of the park. the animation is really good, and the story and dialogue is really well written. Nice job, hyped for newcastle
I think that it would be cool to have a LTM where we play in the D league. I imagine the trials to qualify for the games are like a gritty and a lot less polished version of what we play. I could also see as a way to play test legends/abilities without having to introduce them to the meta as a whole.
I wanna know how mirage knew it took Jackson like 40 tries to get into the games… this would elude to there being a “test” to try out vs the legends that got put in there against their will. It also means that they know about the test process and who’s involved in it, so would they make a nickname for themselves before they even try out? And would 40 tries ago be when the games first started?
They would probably apply and present their nickname before starting practice trials. If they pass then they can enter the game. I think mirage says it took Newcastle 40 tries to enter the games because Newcastle was leaked since season 3

I 100% think that the gun-arm guy is a future legend. He could act like a New York gangster and compete with Revenant to hate all the other legends! The battlepass could be themed around 90's noir like the Pathfinder skin. Lifeline and Mirage could get gangster styled suits for legendaries the holosprays would say things like "Fogetta Bout it" with a Nessie with sunglasses and a fedora. One LTM could make everything in black and white where players are limited to using pistols and lmg guns. The epic skins could be black and white. The season badge could be of a rampage shooting bullets in black and white or it could be a bullet landing on the ground and smashing. The reactive weapon skin could be for a pistol or the rampage. There could be New York styled insult quips in the battlepass. We all want to hear a quip of Octane saying "Sorry, no time to chat, I'm running over here!". This would genuinely be perfect like come on!

If it was a deal but EA/respawn have to do X amount of episodes it may get cancelled. If the deal was Netflix has to stream X amounts of episodes for EA/Respawn we probably will get it as that’s one of the only things some of the Netflix animations have as a guarantee that aren’t as popular or haven’t started. One show called the dragon prince has the third when we’re Netflix are obliged to stream at least 3 more seasons but it took longer for them to get the deal. Hopefully it is the last one as it will give good production time as EA will be above Netflix and guaranteed episodes.

I mean he fell from a ship but was wearing a Jump Kit, and those kits remove fall damage by slowing you down before impact. After that it's just living life with his set of skills from being a highly educated person and also a licensed Combat Pilot

1) By covering his tracks by hiding the real Duardo's death certificate, Torres Silva (Octane's grandfather) was able to successfully campaign to become the boss and will soon be the lone dictator to head the Syndicate.
2) And by transferring huge amounts of cash to the Frontier Corps he was able to buy them off to the point where they become more a private army run by Ajay's mom (Cherisse Che) who is a warmonger.
3) Octane is now realizing how he not only aided his grandpa in a hostile takeover of the Syndicate but also the very thing that Ajay has put her heart and soul into and her motivation to play in the Apex Games.
4) And now in the belief that Octane is a sidekick/lackey to Durado and the New Syndicate, Ajay makes a deal with Mad Maggie to wage war.
Just add a personal observation: some think Torres Silva has a vision that would make the Outlands a better and safer place.
But he and Cherisse are corporate gentlemen, and when companies aim for leadership over the population, nothing good usually happens.
Are we gonna ignore the fact that a trash can lid can block alternator bullets, and here we have literal robots who die getting shot with an alternator

really well made trailer. the last few trailera have been underwhelming to me both in storytelling and in production quality, but this one really knocks it out of the park. the animation is really good, and the story and dialogue is really well written. Nice job, hyped for newcastle

These are always so good. I haven't played Apex Legends in many months and I still watch every one of these.
I think that it would be cool to have a LTM where we play in the D league. I imagine the trials to qualify for the games are like a gritty and a lot less polished version of what we play. I could also see as a way to play test legends/abilities without having to introduce them to the meta as a whole.

Some are picked, some apply. Maggie was sentenced to death in the games, Octane was chosen due to his prowess in other events
We know since forever now that there are qualifying matches to get into the games, and they are probably public too like the games
They would probably apply and present their nickname before starting practice trials. If they pass then they can enter the game. I think mirage says it took Newcastle 40 tries to enter the games because Newcastle was leaked since season 3

I 100% think that the gun-arm guy is a future legend. He could act like a New York gangster and compete with Revenant to hate all the other legends! The battlepass could be themed around 90's noir like the Pathfinder skin. Lifeline and Mirage could get gangster styled suits for legendaries the holosprays would say things like "Fogetta Bout it" with a Nessie with sunglasses and a fedora. One LTM could make everything in black and white where players are limited to using pistols and lmg guns. The epic skins could be black and white. The season badge could be of a rampage shooting bullets in black and white or it could be a bullet landing on the ground and smashing. The reactive weapon skin could be for a pistol or the rampage. There could be New York styled insult quips in the battlepass. We all want to hear a quip of Octane saying "Sorry, no time to chat, I'm running over here!". This would genuinely be perfect like come on!

Yeah true and but I do want to move on from Team Fortress 2 ( I do hope you get updates one day but I don't want to talk about it because it felt to toxicated whenever someone mentions it also and still care about tf2 but I didn't want to focus more on VR) for any valve related stuff for now at least for my mind at least

It's been rumored for a while now that they've had a TV deal with Netflix.
@@g0lddustt29 considering Netflix’s current predicament it might not come. If it was in negotiation it may not come. If it was a deal but EA/respawn have to do X amount of episodes it may get cancelled. If the deal was Netflix has to stream X amounts of episodes for EA/Respawn we probably will get it as that’s one of the only things some of the Netflix animations have as a guarantee that aren’t as popular or haven’t started. One show called the dragon prince has the third when we’re Netflix are obliged to stream at least 3 more seasons but it took longer for them to get the deal. Hopefully it is the last one as it will give good production time as EA will be above Netflix and guaranteed episodes.
