Seeing how much Octane and Che talked in the past really is so exhilarating to see, how they've always been there for each other.
The animation is so good, the humor is good, Octane has a leg and a face reveal, this is the best stories from the outlands.

@@ashenone7592 octane was meant to get info on his father so they (lifeline and mad maggie) could expose him for breaking olympus and how he blamed mad maggie, and also how he’s just a sketchy evil rich guy in general, instead he was manipulated by his “father” and said something of along the lines to lifeline “At least my dad loves me” so they have beef now aka they don’t have special voice lines now

There they find a recording that Octane's father actually built his empire bcz he wanted his child to have a better future and that he loved his son. Now LL finds even wierder doc that is Oct;s dad;s death certificate meaning he has been dead for year and another masked man has been in his place. LL wants to out his secret but Oct is moved by the news that his real dad loved him and prevents LL from outing his dad by burning the death cert. A quarrel ensues and LL says smthn like she could have saved twice as many ppl without oct and Oct says smthn like she is jealous bcz his dad actually loved him.
This is what happens when EA lets artists be creative first and make money second. It's an awesome thing

Anyone else loved seeing how Octane and Lifeline interacted outside and before both they joined the Apex Games. Seems like Lifeline was always a badass. Really would love a series about everyone time before the games. Edit: Didn't think i would need to explain but I mean we get snippets of their life and why the joined the games I want something to fill the gap. Example: Crypto on the run looking for his sister Wraith exploring this new strange world to Her. Valkyrie time as a bounty hunter Seer underground fights Mirage and his mom stuff like that.

as a lifeline main, when someone pick Octane and we play well and maybe get a dub, I get a warm vibe. :)

If there's ever a tv series of Apex, this is what should be used as a reference. It's a bit artistic in the shaders but the characters still look very realistic and alive, with realistic animations (as opposed to overexaggerated disney kind of animation). And the environments look sick. Just a perfect short, love it
I love octanes energy we need to see more of him in these or just give him his own one. There's so much you could show with his family and himself.

Just when I thought I couldn't love Octane more. The way they animate him is amazing, I love how there isn't a single scene where he's sitting still. His energy is fantastic. Amazing short.
Their friendship here is heartwarming. Makes it even more sad to know what happened in the last Short where they kind of fell apart.

Octane basically chose his dad over helping lifeline because his dad finally showed him some approval that he’s been looking for.
I’ve only been playing Apex for over a year and I don’t really understand anything in the lore, but Lifeline was immediately my favorite as a team healer. Looking up information about her character and backstory a year ago made me love her even more. And this story made me love her even MORE! Also Octane!
I love how they gave Lifelines drone so much personality!
This is one of the best looking stories they've put out. And it really tied together the Che - Silva dynamic more than the games had been doing and in less time than the comics have taken to try and do so.

Lifeline is the strongest legend, because she stood against her own family who were getting rich off the blood and land of innocent people in the frontier. She put her principles and morality before everything, and that’s the bravest thing anyone can do.
The fact how lifeline gets up when she falls it matches her voice line: ‘never quit that’s how u win’
I just can not get over octaines enthusiasm. He was literally getting shot at and almost died, yet he's still loving life. He's so dope.

If the animations actually indicated buffs she'd be getting super powerful. In this animation alone she used the drone to shock enemies, carry supplies, and supercharge a vehicle. Imagine if she could do all that in game.

Definitely my favorite one so far. I really imagined octane to look completely different with all of his legendary skins. So seeing his face unlocks a lot of potential to imagine what he'll look like next.

I love the direction this company is taking the storytelling aspect of the game world. Its becoming increasingly immersive and you fall for the same old character with new investments. Marvel, Riot and now Respawn. Great stuff you guys!

Octane literally uses so much stim that he has to remained hooked up to it constantly so he can stay alive and even then there's so much residue that it works constantly. The thing actively filters his blood 24/7, that's why he has the healing passive in game.

@@Aaronxxi I know myself and a entire group of people I’ve talked to in discord and reddit Apex Legends forums have said they’ve never had the audio issue that a lot of people are experiencing or perhaps it’s a hardware issue?? Idk but i’ve never had the issue
I use to have audio issues before I realized in the audio setting if the sound is set to default instead of your connected headset you won’t get 3d audio, game changer

I loved the part where Mirage was a dying, sick soldier and started busting a move before cutting off his life support. Truly an apex experience! Cant wait for the Mirage cinematic!
Apex was supposed to be a fresh start, but no matter how my cinematic I watch, there's always the same ending. Everything falls apart, and I end up with no mirage cinematic.
Imagine watching a movie like this in theaters. The animation is top-notch quality.

Been waiting for this since 3 years (day 1 Lifeline main)! I even love her more now!! But where are the buffs???
I think in like a week or 2 when the new event comes she's getting a decent buff. Her drone will have no cap on the hp restore and the range of her healing drone got increased along with a reduced time on her ultimate.

@@baakojang2.030 In short, after Olympus sabotage, Lifeline and Octane tried to stop Octane's "dad" from taking all of syndicate in his control. Octane without Lifeline (because she didn't take him serious) came up with a "great" plan to figure out who his "dad" really was. Suprisingly, Octane's "dad" started to treat him like a son (which he never did before) making Octane feel proud of himself and letting his guard off. While Silva was knocking around, Lifeline found shocking material on his dad - his death sertificate (this was the point when both of them got sure that this wasn't Octane's dad anymore). Unfortunately, Octane himself didn't want to spread the truth, because his "father" finally noticed him as his son. The last straw for Lifeline was Octane telling her that her parents never loved her and now she's just jealous of him. Of course Octane never meant that, but he said that out loud so it was too late... It also turned out that death sertificate was real and Octane's dad was actually his grandfather who outlived his son by taking stims which continued his life for more than 100 years. PHEW (there may be small mistakes, because english is my second learned language soo... yeah, I tried -_- )
