Music is too loud. Makes it hard to concentrate on what she says. It’s seriously annoying. Other that that, it is informative.
Hi Maureen. You totally took my wedding pictures back in 2006!!!! Such a small world!! We are in Houston now. I have two boys 8 and 10. We homeschool too!! How crazy! I love it.!! I remember your older one. He was such a cute fella. Just wanted to ask how did you attach your chores on the frame? I just ordered the chart! Thanks again for the tips. Arielle
How crazy!!! Yes, such a small world!! I laminated the individual chores and cut them, then used sticky tac to attach them to the frame ;)
Love this idea. It was a little hard to hear bc of the music but I got it. Thx for sharing.

@@mo_wilkinson this is such a helpful video. You might have covered this, but what size frame did you use, an 8x12? Also, how did you adhere the magnetic marker holder to the wall? And do you go behind and check them off or do you allow them to do it? Thank you so much for the awesome tips!
Really wanted to watch this video. Looked like it had a lot of good tips. However I couldn’t because of the music. I kept skipping forward to see if it would stop but sadly it Didn’t. ☹️

Given your expertise and incredibly effective use of chore charts, I couldn't help thinking you might be interested in my new product: My Virtuous Quest. It's a parenting tool/kids game that helps kids be their best and happiest selves by earning badges and "Mystery Adventures" when they internalize and demonstrate core virtues like Ownership, Compassion and Generosity. The video on our website is a great primer, but let me know if you have any questions, sample requests, etc.!

Thanks for sharing. Screentime has effected my home and lack of house tidying and everyone runs to a device leaving me to do all the work. I love thus advice. Tips on how u taught 7 year old to wash. Important things u mentioned.

Chores equals electronics time - Genius!! How much electronics time do you give them?! My boys are four and five and I’m planning to make them a chore chart this month!!
I don't really put a limit on it on the weekends. It just seems to work out in moderation for us. We are a pretty active family, so it typically works out that once we're home for the evening, they get an hour or two to play.

i have a 13yr and now 15yr old. do you ever have problems with them checking off the chores and them not doing them? or even try to cut as many corners as they possibly can? love the video and am excited to try it as a mom who has tried MANY MANY charts and failed at each one. this might be doable

Love your channel! I was wondering what your boys do when they are done with school to keep busy? Also, can you tell me what time you start school with your boys? 💕
Hi Valerie! We typically start school around 9am. When they finish, they complete their chores for the day, then draw, play legos, Nerf war, etc. We head to the gym around 3:00, so there's not too much time for them to have to find something to do ;) Plus...they know better than to tell me they're bored haha!
