Star Marshal rank here. A huge tip is like real life if you prone you are harder to hit and explosions affect you much less when fighting bots. Stealth is huge dont engage in higher difficulties as enemies will swarm you quickly and saving ammo and stims for later is huge. Always bring rockets of some kind. And most important... HAVE FUN 😊😊

If you divejump and look around 360 degrees your Helldiver will dona screw spin in the air which adds insane managed democratic stylepoints to your jump to certain death.
When you hit level 10 you unlock a “guard dog” sentry which I highly recommend, particularly if you’re fighting terminids. It cuts through most small bugs like a hot knife through butter and saves you ammo.
Solid tips. I didn't know you could fire backwards with the sidearm while bravely running away.
Running away is treason! What proper Helldivers do is what’s called a tactical withdrawal.
My tip! I put quick grenade on L1, stratagems to r1, took grenade off right on d pad. Put comms on right d pad and switch shoulders to L3. Allowing use of quick grenade helps so much!
Dont be mad if a teamate accidentally kills you!!!
Played over 30 hours already, had no idea you could choose alternate fire modes by holding down square! Few other tips in here that sounded really useful too - great video!

I didn't think of blowing up those information tower things. That's at least one tip for me!
Didn't know it was possible till I did it today by accident trying to clear the area of the bugs.
Just started yesterday and I saw this today
This might be common knowledge now but before you activate the big giant artillery thingy Make sure to grab the nearby shells and pile them up before you start it because when you start it you get hoard that will attack you also depending on which console you are on but if you spam the button you pick it up with you actually move faster than just holding it and walking
on top of the lvl5 waiting tip, levels 10, 15 and 20 are also places where good ones unlock. so buy some improvements at level 5 then save until you hit level 10.
Another note on sample collecting: Everyone shares the rewards. It doesn't matter who carries them to the extraction ship. So don't kill each other over them, that'd be treason
Is this true iv been trying to find those samples and I haven't found much because iv just started I'm level 3 and I noticed other people picking them up before me so I thought I don't get aney

The concept of HD2 is so simple but Arrowhead went all out in creating a sophisticated masterpiece.
Started playing earlier this week and had absolutely no idea about holding Square for quick weapon actions or the ping function...this is going to make things much easier now!

Don't place sentry turrets at higher locations, that will still rip you to shreds. Place them at ground level, and keep your character at higher levels. The turrets will never shoot up at you unless you've already been overrun, and at that point it's time to relocate anyway.

One tip is to not overlook your starting stratagems. They may not be as flashy as an eagle deploying a 500kg bomb or a high explosiveaoe bombardment, but the reliability of the machine gun alongside the ability of the precision strike to take down structures and large enemies cannot be understated.
If a charger is coming at you, it's often a good idea to throw the precision bombardment at your feet and dive out of the way

I'm still kinda new, but another tip is try give all your common samples to one player. That why if they die and drop them, you only have to collect them from 1 place.

Lv 50 skull admiral here. When i play with randoms, i will state in chat that they are free to pick up my equipment when i die since i can call them back anyway. Seeing low lvl randoms enjoy the jet pack, autocannon, arc thrower, etc. is both wholesome and at the very least improves squad ability.
One round on suicide i brought a Spear and saw it picked up by a lv 11 after i died. Called another one for myself later on and started loading for this same lv 11. He and I stayed at the rear from the other 2 squadmates and started to load for each other as we took out bile titans and chargers at will!

Here is my veteran tip:
Impact Grenades can easily 2-shot Annihilator Tanks, Turret Towers and Hulks is you aim them directly at the heat vents on the backside
I absolutely love helldivers 2 even tho I have helldivers and never played the prequel.🥂😎
A good tip I have is to drop your samples at the evac site if you're mid game and so happen to be by it.
I also like to call in a supply drop and leave it at the evac site.
Didn't know how to do any of these things. Man, I need to get back on and buy those strategems.
One tip I've learned is to just avoid trying to kill enemies with your drop pod. At least in my 25+ hours experience I find more often than not it doesn't kill enemies, and even if it does, it doesn't kill ALL enemies. So don't throw reinforcements into a herd of bugs thinking that will just AOE kill them all.
Another I've found useful is pointing out all patrols you see, and then holding R1 and selecting the negative command if you don't want to fight them. I've had a few times where that's come in handy after a nasty nest take down with few stratagems off cooldown, few rounds left just trying to make it too the next objective. Avoid fights if you have too.
I'd like some tips about matchmaking. Hosting a game and kicking people etc. Plus some guidance on the difficulty settings.

Drop samples you don’t want to stress about carrying at the Evac Site. My friends and I do this on 7+ Dives when we find the Super Samples.

For the map if you can’t tell if it’s a building you can ping it can if it turns into a square then it’s a POI or you can be lazy and ping to whole map

damn these planets look awesome. Why does it feel like every match i get into is the same fire tornado planet. do they switch major order planets ? cuz ive only been playing a week but its always the same enivronment
Damn I had no idea stims reset the stamina gauge.
Does the flashlight affect stealth?
I noticed that you can still be detected while prone or around a corner if your using a rover and it’s out in the open even at a bit of a distance, not helpful when sneaking around to throw air strikes
Broadcast antennae can be blown with an impact nade.
Spamming E for the searf missile will make you carry them faster.

It's a shame that the most recent patch has completely broken pick ups.
You freeze for a good 30 seconds on picking anything up like medals, credits or opening anything.

The Game is an absolute blast but they need to fix the bugs quickly. So mamy times I didn't get rewards cause the Game glitched.

Its better than the same 4 strategem being used every mission for the whole games life. Because they are BiS, or the already rampant kicking of anyone who wasn't using them
