I'm from Argentina and I'm just so glad Rob's Friday Features are back. I used to watch them way back when I was just beginning university. Now I'm fully graduated, working and whatnot and I still laugh with your vids as much as I did back then! Such a joyous tradition. Thanks for bringing it back!
Igual hermano, me subscribi hace años principalmente por esto, jajaja jugue todos los metal gear por el, y me pongo feliz cuando gana el crystal palace jajajaj
One instant death I remember was from the first Tomb Raider game, when you jump onto the Hand of Midas and instantly turn into a gold statue, totally worth the death to see that animation sequence.
I forgot it was Friday as soon as i saw this, i was like "what the hell, it's already Friday?!" Thanks for always brightening up our Fridays Rob, i'm so glad these are back
Here's my short story with Nier Automata's self destruction: I really thought it was just a troll feature. There's this whole bit at the start of the game where you try to disable it and 9S won't let you, but then you can do it anyway and he promises not to tell. But then I enabled it again anyway and tried it to see what it did. I was at the bunker, so it was an instant game over. I never even suspected that the results would be different in any other part of the game, so I never used the feature again. I thought it was there just for a joke and achievement. Imagine my surprise months later when I encountered a thread about people using it for its intended purpose.
I really really really disliked the mackerel game over. Apparently 2B cannot process it. Game over. It's even an achievement in game too Also the lore is insane and depressing
I fully expected "Pissing off Vlaakith the Githyanki Lich-Queen with dumb snarky remarks to her face in Baldur's Gate 3" to be in this list of deserved deaths, when she literally casts _Wish_ to wish the group out of existence and into a Game Over screen.
My favourite death was in Disco Elysium as well. Only 5 minutes in, I tried to get the spinning shoe out of the ceiling fan, slipped, caught my tie in the said fan, and was hanged 😂😢
Fun fact about Samara in Mass Effect: her voice actress, Maggie Baird, is in real life the mother of Billie Eilish and Finneas. Neither of them are deadly Ardat-Yakshi, of course. ...as far as I know.
ROB'S CORRECTION CORNER... I'll be looking forward to this every week from now on 😂 I'm gonna find myself forever looking through the comments to see what rob got wrong 🤣
I've been campaigning for this on and off ever since watching the Cyberpunk campaign. Hoping for various TTRPGs so we can see many flavors of chaos. Hopefully not all double tetanus flavored. 😂
A Friday with a Friday Features video is always a good Friday. I wonder if Rob will be watching this video in the future at 10:59 when he does another Friday feature of him watching TH-cam videos.
To be fair when we start listening to Cartmen, he violently kidnaps our parents, causes us to make a temporal distorting fart, and makes it always Christmas so not wanting to listen to him seems fair.
I once finished a tough mission in Hitman 2 Freelance mode only to try picking up a mine that i left at the entrance so I could get in. I tried to use that entrance to also escape and unfortunately forgot it was a proximity mine 😎
In the point and click game Deja Vu for the NES, there was a "self" option that allowed you to try to use any item on yourself. Some items you had to use on yourself to finish the game. The game also gave you a gun... which provided a way to have been an entry on this list.
Oh _that_ kind of instant death... I thought you meant like in Snake Eater where as soon as you gain control of Snake you can hurl him off a cliff edge, possibly accidentally.
Never knew about the south park cube one. I said there punching that thing for a good while because I EXPECTED something like that but nothing ever happened.
Awesome! Love these top 7 Access lists. How about these..... 7 times games made you laugh! 7 times games broke the laws of physics! 7 times gamers didn't buy games that were great! 7 reasons being a gamer means you're cool!
The instant death that sticks with me is BG3 from valk i bow before no one not even a God and i dont listen to demands instant game over did not see that coming
My favourite BG3 insta-kill I've had is where you are tasked by the god of the githyanki to kill the visitor in the artefact. I thought "She's probably exaggerating her powers, if I just don't do it it'll be a story point and we'll move on." Nope, immediate death when she realised I'd refused to do what I said, fair to say I won't make that mistake again.
For a self placed death, my one friend in HellDivers2 had put down anti personnel mines, and ran into them himself THREE TIMES in less then a minute (respawned) killing himself, over and over.
I actually do have a question...I'm collecting Aerith figures at the moment, and I'm wondering about the one you have on the shelf back there. Which one is it? I want to know if it's one I don't have yet.
So, in this mistake-free video... Why doesn't Rob's mom wear a wedding ring? P. S: the NieR deaths were hilarious. My personal favourite self-inflicted demise is in Final Fantasy XV, via botched landing! Took many attempts to learn how to do it properly, too.
Here's the thing about Morinth... Your Shepard *knows* what they are getting into. It is no secret what Morinth is, or what she does to the nervous system of her "lovers" ... ... but you still try it, at least once, because Morinth says, basically, "maybe you're different" ... You're not.
Touching the hand of Midas and turning yourself into a golden statue in the original Tomb Raider is an instant death that is definitely deserved
Me too. Rob's Friday features got me through college and uni.
Aaaaanddd my current job 😅
Igual hermano, me subscribi hace años principalmente por esto, jajaja jugue todos los metal gear por el, y me pongo feliz cuando gana el crystal palace jajajaj
My favourite and probably most common is the curious "Does this game have fall damage?", somewhat closely followed by "Can I swim?"
There's also the "Will fire burn me?"
“Do my own bombs hurt me?”
“Can I trigger my own proximity mines? If so, do they damage me?”
Can we talk about how lethal water is to SO many characters?
Gets called out for Dave wearing normal clothes in the BG3 Tally, then immediately starts with a BG3 intro for another tally. 10 out of 10. 😂
And he has a different shirt? Do they make Dave put the hat back on each time? I thought they'd film a view in advance!
LOL also him using a modern clipboard xD
"Explicit Delsin fanart" is NOT a phrase I needed to hear... I'm terrified...
The Morrinth death is essentially the "I can fix her" meme taken to its inevitable conclusion.
One instant death I remember was from the first Tomb Raider game, when you jump onto the Hand of Midas and instantly turn into a gold statue, totally worth the death to see that animation sequence.
I just adore this goofy, hilarious channel so much
I’m so glad the Friday Features are back again!
I forgot it was Friday as soon as i saw this, i was like "what the hell, it's already Friday?!" Thanks for always brightening up our Fridays Rob, i'm so glad these are back
Picture this: Dave finally gets someone to sleep with him in Mass Effect, and it's Morrinth 🤣
I'm really glad your Friday features are back, I sorely missed your humour and great videos.

Game over.
It's even an achievement in game too
Also the lore is insane and depressing
These Friday Features are the reason I subscribed to Access in the first place. Glad they’re back!
A Friday feature on my birthday, this is the best present I could’ve asked for!
Happy Birthday 🎉
@@jendai79 thanks so much!
I’ll never forget fighting Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 2 for the first time and then not pressing Triangle quick enough at the start of the fight
I fully expected "Pissing off Vlaakith the Githyanki Lich-Queen with dumb snarky remarks to her face in Baldur's Gate 3" to be in this list of deserved deaths, when she literally casts _Wish_ to wish the group out of existence and into a Game Over screen.
Fun fact, the doctor with the rusty nail on his desk with the tetnas shot was Dr. Salvador.
What a twist! (Wish we'd thought of that.)
@PlayStationAccess Thank you! I'm always a fan of your videos!
These list videos have become one of the best parts of my day on Friday. i am so glad you are doing them again. ❤️
So good! I can confidently click the like button on the Friday Features before I’ve even watched them.
Love you Rob. I hope you continue to be the one who keeps doing the Friday features.
Glad to see the FF back regularly. Rob and his gags got me through some difficult days.
The perfect line-up of 4.
Rob, Rosie, Dave... and Delsin.
My favourite death was in Disco Elysium as well. Only 5 minutes in, I tried to get the spinning shoe out of the ceiling fan, slipped, caught my tie in the said fan, and was hanged 😂😢
Thanks Access team for bringing this back, Rob’s humor somehow remains the same over the years and always like hearing him talk about these lists
Hi you’ve caught me feeling all nostalgic and thinking I would love a random one off Access granted episode with zero context for Access noobs
Fun fact about Samara in Mass Effect: her voice actress, Maggie Baird, is in real life the mother of Billie Eilish and Finneas. Neither of them are deadly Ardat-Yakshi, of course. ...as far as I know.
No way! Great trivia.
Every Fromsoftware game: Try Jumping
"I wonder if I can parry that"
CRT game over burn in. Ouch that hits home.
I've really missed Rob's Friday Feature's! They really helped me out during tough times back in the day. Thanks for bringing them back Team! ❤
Can't overstate how happy I am that Friday Features are back :)
Lol that last entry was so good!! I agree Nier Automata has a load of funny deaths
ROB'S CORRECTION CORNER... I'll be looking forward to this every week from now on 😂 I'm gonna find myself forever looking through the comments to see what rob got wrong 🤣
This is what access needed!
Rob’s Friday feature to return in full
Never comment on anything, especially on watching you all for years… but damn damn… Couldn’t stop laughing my a$$ off. You still got it 🥊
Why have we still not got a DnD spin-off channel for PS Access? Come on! We all want it! Make Dice with Destiny happen!
If this video gets a million views we will take it as a sign...
Dice with Destiny with Delsin?
I've been campaigning for this on and off ever since watching the Cyberpunk campaign. Hoping for various TTRPGs so we can see many flavors of chaos. Hopefully not all double tetanus flavored. 😂
Hello you’ve caught me enjoying the Friday Features!
The intro reminded me of Fan Corrections on Conan. Good times.
Rob does the best Friday features.
Double tetanus is the enemy of every fantasy world being.
Oh wow I was really hoping they'd commit to the bit and just end the video with the nier credits. 😅
Best part of my Fridays right here
Thangs for bringing the Friday Feature back. And Delsin ❤
These are just getting better and better
I’m so happy these are back ☺️
I took what Morinth told me as a challenge. Surely, my Shepherd is not any ordinary human. He was in fact, an ordinary human. XD
So chuffed to have the Friday features back!!
A Friday with a Friday Features video is always a good Friday. I wonder if Rob will be watching this video in the future at 10:59 when he does another Friday feature of him watching TH-cam videos.
Friday Features and the Bishi Bashi are what made this channel so great.
To be fair when we start listening to Cartmen, he violently kidnaps our parents, causes us to make a temporal distorting fart, and makes it always Christmas so not wanting to listen to him seems fair.
You forgot jumping into a chasm to check if the game has invisible walls.
The modified credits was a nice touch. Dave's Lament indeed lol
"The thing NieR Automata is most famous for"
You mean other than 2B's immaculately sculpted buns?
i always love the walking off the edge when it isn't even required for me to be near the edge considering it's a perfectley safe enviroment
Scribblenauts also let's you summon cathlu
Thanks for the heart
It also can be rideable or even friendly depending on the adjective you apply.
Ha ha. Another gem of a video Rob! The best hangover cure ☺️
Wow, such a great episode. Laughed so hard.
Robs, please excuse me, Rob's mother is back!! Hilarious 👌🤣🤣🤣🤍
I died to my own proximity bomb in Hitman 3 when I dropped it and didn't move away fast enough. Good times.
Oh boy another new tally with Baulders Gate 3. Still has a long way to go to catch up with Metal Gear Solids tally though.
I once finished a tough mission in Hitman 2 Freelance mode only to try picking up a mine that i left at the entrance so I could get in. I tried to use that entrance to also escape and unfortunately forgot it was a proximity mine 😎
“With Samara crushed under a Poang” absolutely sent me 😂
In the point and click game Deja Vu for the NES, there was a "self" option that allowed you to try to use any item on yourself. Some items you had to use on yourself to finish the game.
The game also gave you a gun... which provided a way to have been an entry on this list.
Shadowgate too. I managed to light myself on fire
Oh _that_ kind of instant death... I thought you meant like in Snake Eater where as soon as you gain control of Snake you can hurl him off a cliff edge, possibly accidentally.
Amazing as usual
once I figured out that you can summon Cthulhu to solve some scribblenauts puzzles, that was pretty much it for me. used it as often as possible.
Absolutely loved this Friday feature!
P.s. respect Rob's authorotah!
Did not know I needed Rob to say "AUTH-OR-A-TAH!" as much as I did. My life is complete.
Miss these "top 7 videos"
No need to miss them - they are back.
@@PlayStationAccess Awe thanks guys
A bold choice to reference Merriam-Webster. The stereotypical choice would have been the Oxford English Dictionary. Bravo sir!
I found out about the OS Chip by selling it. Yoko Taro has a twisted sense of humor.
You are welcome for the Delsin Fanwork. Great list
In Hitman 3 i sabotaged an electric plug and then pierced a nearby water tank
I forgot to move away from the exposed wires
The instant death that sticks with me is BG3 from valk i bow before no one not even a God and i dont listen to demands instant game over did not see that coming
Is that a NPC or an enemy. Let me walk up and talk to it....oH gOD!
The NieR Automata deaths are very funny. My favorite is 2B going to live her life as a fisherman, haunted by the ghosts of the people she abandoned.
I definitely got the Nier ones, because I put myself through a lot to get all 26 endings.
In Disco Elysium, I also died for sitting on an uncomfortable chair. It felt a little too real.
Id be ok for Rob to narrate my death
ROB YOU LEGEND ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO MY MAN, KEEP IT UP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello, you’ve caught me watching another Friday feature. My favourite series.
For a self placed death, my one friend in HellDivers2 had put down anti personnel mines, and ran into them himself THREE TIMES in less then a minute (respawned) killing himself, over and over.
I drunk the wrong shot in Hitman 2 and felt incredibly ashamed. I even looked around to see if anyone was watching
regular friday features are back!!
i was afraid it was just one time goodies these last weeks
Unhinged video today, love it
Pls someone tell me can i play ps plus extra games and bought library and go back to ensational ps plus 😢 can i still able to play ps extra games? 😊
I love the mask reference for Nier. Yoko Taro is hilarious.
I actually do have a question...I'm collecting Aerith figures at the moment, and I'm wondering about the one you have on the shelf back there. Which one is it? I want to know if it's one I don't have yet.
Oh no. Not the dreaded Double Tetanus D:
You missed casting bio on yourself when fighting rufus in ffvii...no wait...sorry couldn't resist
You're not.
Thank you Rob for another Friday feature 😂😂😂
I just suddenly got the joke.....fractured but whole. Why didn't I get it before?
dave's la[M]ent LOL, masterful
Dropping a GD mid-video? Caught me off guard and had a good giggle.
A welcome return to Robs mother you have been missed ❤
