OMG I LOVE THIS ONE !!! I Love All The Colors & The High Energy Movement Of It !! Great Job!! Great Video. & I Love how u had to add more paint. If a beginner was attempting this & didn't apply enough paint they would have given up but U showed Us How It Looked & That It Needed More. Thanks For Sharing It All Mark. U ARE The Real Deal.
I love your paintings. However, my guilty secret is that when I’m really frazzled, I turn on one of your videos to soothe my soul; your pleasant voice, the gently flowing paint and music calm me right down. Thank you! 😚
Марк, я очень рада видеть, что вы вновь за работой. Этот огненный круг просто бесподобен. Он потребовал большой выдержки и спокойствия и явился к нам как великолепное космическое чудо, достойное созерцания и восхищения. Галина, Сибирь.
Omg i been watching for a long time and i have to say this is a favorite!!! I been wanting to make this and i have not seen anything more beautiful. Its sooo beautiful and this you call the circle of fire is just mesmerizing. I really love how the out side has a sinking affect as if it goes on and on until you cant see it anymore... thanks for sharing i cant wait to make one for myself.
This looks like it could be referred to as a Galactic entrance to a wormhole in outer space! Very vivid colors and a texture that is very hot 🥵 looking on the surface of the canvas. Amazing beauty and an intense atmospheric effect to say the least. It’s an amazing piece of art and a great joy to witness being crafted!
Love the contrast of the rounder center edges and the whispy outer edges. It really looks like the expanding fuel into the center and the release of power of the flames outwards. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow, that turned out absolutely gorgeous. I love the color selection with the black background makes it pop. Thank you so much for teaching us another technique to use.
I’m an armchair artist - I’ve been watching many different creators and while they are all wonderful, your work is my favorite. You use unique items (embroidery hoop, egg crates, etc) and while you may have an idea for how you want something to look, if the paint takes you in another direction, you go with the flow (pardon the pun). This makes your art work feel more natural and personal. Your ring of fire is stunning and I’m happy it worked like you envisioned.
I really love so much your videos. You really stimulate to work for a nice pouring with your gentleness. And for sure good advices and fantastic ideas. Thank you so much.
This is excellent Mark, and that spot of yellow, all on its own before you started to blow out - what a great result it added! Thank you for sharing your drying technique as well. A recent problem that I have found is that the surface I leave my paintings to dry on isn't very level, so I've taken to using long screws, one on the underside of each corner and one of those little spirit levels, similar to the ones used when levelling caravans. Then if one corner needs adjustment, just screw a screw in a little etc. Then I start to paint; the screws also come in handy to hold the canvas while I tilt n turn. You've inspired me to do all of this, my results have been far from perfect but I'm having fun practising, and fun is what it's all about! So thank you very much for sharing and giving me and my hubby something extra to do on weekends.
So glad I subscribed. Your demonstration and explanation of layering was especially helpful to me as I'm trying to improve on my painting journey. Thanks so much!

Mark, can I ask you why you decided to start mixing your paints with water only versus floetrol?
Love your piece and colors. ❤
Hi Denise 👋 Most of my blow outs or Dutch pours are only paint and water… swipes/puddle pours use medium so it’s slightly thicker
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt thank you😊
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt thank you so much😊
Mark is is very cool looks like a ring of fire 🔥
Thank you 🤩
Very Johnny Cash don’t you think!? Dramatic piece. Very helpful demo of blow dryer technique which I am still trying to master.
Oops sorry don’t know who Johnny Cash is?! But thank you!! It’s not an easy technique so keep going. Took me ages to learn it and I learn each time 🤩
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt Really Mark? You’ve never heard of the man in black? Google him and listen to Ring of Fire!
Just to add that today the official video has had 1.81 million views- you could make it 1.82!
Absolutely love this!! It's stunning. 😊
Thank you! 😊
