These people are absolutely gross and disgusting. The way they talk to people is bad enough but the fact that they try and make people actually spend money in order to scam them is even worse... if they put all that energy into getting AN ACTUAL JOB, they wouldn't need to rob people blind... or even try pathetically to do so...

You'd be amazed how much money these scammers make. It's roughly 8-10 billion dollars per year. It pays thousands of times more than the average salary. It's no wonder so many do it. Although leaving all your morals aside and becoming evil isn't something I could do. The American government and to a larger extent the Indian government has done nothing to stop this and prosecute these scammers. Not until someone in government is directly affected, will anything be done.

@@James-oo1yq That figure you quoted would more likely be for the yearly total amount stolen from every scam call center that exists on earth. I think it was on Jim Browning's channel who accesses their spreadsheet accounting files, and those figures are that call centers steal anywhere from $50,000-$350,000 per month depending on the size of the operation. That's still appalling in itself, though. Even then, the "company managers" are the ones who take the vast majority of that money and become millionaires, and the "representatives" we hear over the phone are often barely given enough to live on when they first start out, all the while getting themselves into what is essentially a mob operation.
