Thank you for this recipe! My husband is Senegalese. I made bissap for iftar and I got his approval and most importantly Grandma's approval! When a Senegalese grandma approves you know it's good ❤

    Kadi.
    You're my FAVORITE!
I lived in West Africa for two & a half years (first in Senegal, then au village en Guinea).
I just cooked attiéké au poulet.
I always look to your channel to find the recipes I learned there.
    You're the BEST! 🤗❤

Is the tamarind in the pod? Can you use baobab powder?

This is too much sugar ph my God 🥺 the health benefits of these amazing plants are almost « suppressed » if you use that much sugar

I don't think so! The capacity of juice she extracts and the fruits she has used require that exact amount of sugar. Just by the eye you can tell The juice could serve upto 12 servings or more.
You may get shocked when you get to taste the juice and find out that you yourself would have preferred even more (sugar) than what she used.🤨😉

Great presentation. I think the quantity of sugar added in the different juice recipes is way too much and unhealthy. This could be replaced with natural honey

I agree with you. I was uncomfortable watching her put all that sugar in.
