Good to see you doing so well , the mood thing will settle down in time.
You still make me laugh, ‘My BODY was sad” :)

Thanks for the update Dom, very positive. Glad you are doing quite well apart from the swimming depression! Hopefully that will go off as you get more fit and less fatigued. Great news your calf is improving.

This granny is cackling as you describe your swimming. Well done Dom. Thanks for the laughs. My big achievement is still being able to get to the bathroom unaided. Four bloody years of constant dizziness, in part caused by neck problems and I've just gone through a few days of being utterly scunnered by the situation. So, I turned my mattress around by myself to prove to myself I could still do it, even though I should not and mentally felt so much better. Might not make sense to anyone else but it worked for me! ☺️💕

Dom I was in your shoes 3 years ago. I was in so much pain for so long all the GP kept saying was its sciatica, but then i started to have problems passing urine so was kept in hospital had surgery that night, i remember after surgery i could have screamed with joy all my pain had gone except where the surgery was... came out of hospital with a catheter for about a month and now im living life to the full :)

Dom! So glad you’re not in pain these days! By the way, it looks like you’ve lost weight?

Touchy subject but what was your sex life like post op? After how long did you recover sensation in your saddle area. Just had Cuada equina surgery 2 days ago and your video really helped me so thank you so much!

hello, I am a cauina equina patient. It has been 8 months since the surgery, I am currently using a single cane. Do I need to make continuous foot movements to strengthen the muscles?
