Making all the DBZ characters fighting type is kind of like making all the normal Pokemon "monster" type. It's redundant. So in the case of a DBZ Pokemon game, you should prioritise making them one of the other types they could be interpreted as, over the type that they obviously are. Then you could treat the fighting type like the normal type of the game and only make most basic and purist martial arts characters fighting types.
Type advantage isn't the same in this game. Meaning psychic isn't strong against fighting. Fighting is strong against dark only because it's basically fighting=good and dark=evil/villian. We know good always beats evil. Psychic doesn't doesn't get a type advantage over fighting like normal pokemon. With that being said cooler can basically carry you through the game and he's dark.

there is a SNES DBZ JRPG, plays like Dragon Quest, and looks like this here :D. ... really wish they made more such turn-based DBZ & Naruto (Shippuden) JRpgs.., the One Piece one was ok.., but need a real AAA studio to make it (SE, Atlus, Intelligent Systems etc.)
Its good to find out what the nuzlocke challenge is. But I think it's a bad cross over. DBZ and Pokemon are certainly not the seem. Mixing between the two is odd. TBH Sonic would be better. The trouble is you want sonic to be the strongest. In which case you want sonic to be as rare and hard to catch as mew. Which kind of defeats the point as playing as sonic. Pokemon is an adventurer and it does play out like that with them exploring new places and catching pokemon . But their is no surprises or other storyline. Other then there's people stealing pokemon and if you want to be the best get all the gym badges.
For all the foddwr fighters, i know Guru can give them a max IV buff , don't remember where he is. At the end of victory road, supreme kai can do it as well but he maxes out every stat.
This was mostly an entertaining video, but you definitely could have shortened moments, like when you catch people for you team, and especially during the Elite 4 Fight at the end. You should have kept up the commentary, because you are really good at it. But I found it hard to finish watching after reaching the Elite 4 section due to the lack of commentary. Still enjoyed the video though! And this is just feedback, so you don’t have to follow it haha
I've watched a bunch of pokemon nuzlocke's and the rules can actually vary. Most have the 2 basic rules you mention but you can also play without using items and stuff like that. I tried to play the rom hack and got decently far but it kept reloading me back, so I started a new run and it just crashed when I went to turles in my fighters. Also the game was blurry I could barely see anything.
As someone who has played and finished Team Training, my immediate response to "Can this be nuzlocked?" was "Heck no! Weaknesses aren't even really a thing throughout 90% of this hack!"
I think it’s funny that the Elite 4 team is all these super strong characters in verse.. And then Raditz. (technically, since he evolved into that Golden Ape)
This was funny, but just a little advice. Don't overdo with the memes and the full screen images, because in many cases it was impossible to see what was happening.
If there's a sequel of this game you should add a dragon ball claus, get all gym badges and you get 1 wish ( i say 1 wish bc it would be op if you had 3 or 2)
