- The BMD-4 in War Thunder is a Russian Light Tank that is ludicrously fast! There isn't a better vehicle I could use for beating the most ridiculous battle pass challenge!
The Firing in Motion Challenge requires you to destroy 30 enemies while travelling at a speed of 40kph or higher. If I want to do this task quickly, then the BMD-4 and BMP-3 are absolutely ideal for the task!
The BMD-4 has a 30mm autocannon that's also fixed to a 100mm cannon that can barrel fire ATGM's with an insane reload of under 4 seconds. It's a good job you only get 4 or it would definitely be a little undertiered for 8.7!
Thermals, stabiliser and enough ammo to hold back an entire army, this thing is absolutely awesome!

I have 5 kills in the r3 and NONE OF THEM COUNTED. I shot down 2 planes at over 40kph and I killed 3 tanks. none counted. I still have zero.

@@Melthornal gotta be above 40 as the kill is registered, if for any reason, it goes bellow 40, like hitting a bump or am object or suddenly flying, as the kill get registered, it doesn't count it.
I did mine using the centauro 105's and the VTC mainly. yes they are high BR but the Stabilization and Thermal scope helps a lot to get motion kills

I have some plane kills from the R3 (which I always drive around like a maniac, because it makes you a harder target). I only play AB' though - perhaps RB doesn’t allow them?
I'm taking this battle pass off, but watching my buddy play that challenge was a lot of fun. They definitely seem to have up-ed the grind necessary for the free vehicles lately. I guess too many of us casuals were getting the free vehicles for free.
I'm done playing battlepasses. A game is supposed to be fun, not a job. That's a key reason why War Thunder is so unpopular. That, and how they designed a game around clubbing seals with 5000+ hour players with 20mm pumas, killing people in their first T-26 with no FPE yet. It's absolutely absurd. I have a black puma. I played it like 3 times and immediately felt guilty.

Honestly im glad i only bought the first battlepass(with the T-10A). That was the only battlepass season that was actually worth it and the rewards were way too good. Maybe the only other decent battlepass was the one with the pt-76-57, only because this thing is insanely OP. Other than that, im never buying battlepass anymore.
I'm simply in awe of how easy you make this game look. Whenever I try to play this game I just get absolutely annihilated. Cheers on the amazing content.

In all nations be somewhat aggressive, but this is essential for Russian vehicles due to their competitive design, I main Russia.
Be aware of your surroundings, listen to noises as much as you can.
I just used the begleitpanzer in arcade mode and farmed aircraft kills, I also re-confirmed my hatred for arcade mode whilst doing so.

@@DaCouchWarrior Yes. I did exactly that. As shown in the video, it is a very difficult challenge, so I just wanted to get it out of the way easily. Also, begleit is not overpowered. Have you played it before, or just died to it? It's definitely a good vehicle, but I for sure wouldn't call it overpowered. As Miles H said - bmp2m.
I can confirm it works like this, I did it a hour and half going for air kills

You're right it's much easier with high tier, stabilised vehicles. I've been doing it with the T34-57 and M18. I managed to get 4 in one game. IMO the ideal map for this challenge is Cargo Port. Urban with wide, flat roads.

I've been using my M1 Abrams and put the cruise control at max, just flank and spank. Super frustrating but some games, it's hilarious watching a team not expect me behind them flying through at 35mph

Some of the kills I got in realistic battles, the rest of them I played some arcade battles, haven't played that in a really long time and I hate it but since you get a very significant speed boost it was well worth it.
I did it with a leopard 2A4 and just held W every game, was surprisingly easy

I has been 7 months since this video was released, but now I know more about the innovations and technological advances about the newest tanks in this video than in other side.
Gaijin should really work on their challenges so they can be done by all parts of the community instead of hardcore focusing them and thereby excluding some people from completing the battle pass proper. Especially when the gameplay required forces you to play like an absolute fool and throw matches to do it effectively. But gaijin has a track record for making terrible challenges in events so "whatever" I suppose.

I used the xm-1 gm, m1 abrams and an LAV because air kills count too just drive in circles on a big map and SAM helicopters. Finished it in like 6-8 games
even though I have every US tank, I have no idea how I could complete this (I am avoiding top tier at the moment because of the BVM's),

This challenge is stupidly hard
If you have Italian tree researched - try using centauros, there are 2 of them at the same br as bmd4. But centauros are made for it - their first Cruise Control speed is exactly 40 km/h, and max speed backwards (Q-CC2) is also 40. Find a spot where u can just move back and forth for a 100-150 meters to build a speed and shoot ppl from there. My personal record is 7 kills that counted in a game.

I also agree with you odd, sometimes the 30mm cannon seems to do less dmg than to what i feel it should. Also sometimes the spool when enemy pen you for me its rediculous considering this is a very light vehicle but yes it cramp but 12.7 almost can pen it everywhere
Done it on Type 16. Wasn't too hard, tho frustrating
Italian R-3 SPAAA on AB and go. It's easy to hunt for planes. I did it in two days easily. Planes do count. You can take M18 along and try YOLO-charge-kills as well in it.
More annoying is the rocket challenge because you have to have specific aircraft so it's about grinding the plane tech trees you may not have.
If you got 7.0br in any nation you can go to arcade and spawn heli
@@josuenogueira5719 harder to do since at that BR heli would get shot down by anything before being even close enough to fire rockets effectively
I didn't mind the rocket challenge since it made me grind out the Me 262. Those rockets are really fun to use especially against bombers
Ye and as an Italy main, none of my veichles have rockets, i feel like gadjin should make the challenge accessible for all tech trees, since grinding more than one at a time is hell

i did my 30 kills with breda and r3 combo in AB, and although i despise arcade, flying by with speed of 150km/h, spraying around like a drunk guy in front of a public toilet is pretty fun

I tried with the PT-76-57 in RB. I was only averaging like 1 kill per game with this playstyle. Then I switched to arcade with the BTR-ZD. Knocked it out in just four games. Everytime a plane started to dive on me I'd accelerate and shoot him down on the move. Tbf though this isn't half as stupid as citius, altius, fortius in bp season 2
This challenge was a breeze in the T-80BVM which is supposed to be played by never releasing the W, flanked the whole enemy team and drove up behind them like I was a member of their team and started blasting, challenge done in 4 battles.

I finished this challenge and it was even easy using the Italian Centauros ( 8.7 and 9.0 )
same, and sometimes the VTC in late game since most are spawning their BMPs or spaa at that points
I had the same exact line of thinking as you BawZ when it came to this challenge

Main tanks i used for this challenge were PT-76-57 and the Obj. 906
Seems to me, once you get to this point, the fact that you don't have separate humans controlling the individual stations, leads to some bad game play.
We need team play in the same tank for this level.
That's one thing that is awesome about post scriptum or hell let loose.
i finished this challenge using mainly US and germany (stryker and XM1 , Radwagen , KPZ , and bagelpanzer ) tried using the bmps but didnt work as good
I've been doing this challenge in Ground RB only. I use the Challies as I feel like their stabilizers are the smoothest with the increased turret depression. Just full sending and it works surprisingly well. I have to say, I have to thank the Tank Biathlon in 2020 for making me an absolutely sniper while going full speed :P

15:23 You can see how more frustrating the challenge is when i dont have an IFV or any tank in Russia, so the best option was the XM-1 and just to charge at people. Took 9 hours to get 20 but I'm ok with that

This whole BP is just a big middle finger to Air RB players. Even RB players at that I’m not grinding to 5.0 to play a stupid challenge
I have actually completed it in less then 2 days whit the T-80 Series whit they Powerful Gas Turbine Engine and Gun.

I did it in the veck 40 with proxy round in ground AB! Got 8 kills a match easily
It's not as bad as the help with repairing task if you're playing solo however I've been grinding at this task for 10 hours and only got 4 kills while moving at 40kph.
I'm not a bad player either I just wish that the task was "critically damage enemy while moving at 40kph" because it would be much more forgiving.
another broken part of this challenge is that most ground vehicles in war thunder have terrible traction to limit players from climbing hard to reach terrain on certain maps and thus gives you major problems in terms of acceleration and maneuvering...
You can use Germany 9.7 for this challenge. Lots of fast tanks with good firepower, especially the 4 second leopard.
I did it like that took me 5 rounds in one game in made 14 kills over 40kph
if you want to complete this challenge play in arcade , everything is faster there
M18 go Brrr.
Use an R3 in an arcade match and see if you could do much better. That's about the fastest lower tier vehicle possibly capable.
I don't think arcade would allow for you to flank without being seen.

Question for the community:
Does anyone else feel like Gajin/WT have made the battle pass increasingly less fun, more difficult, and open to fewer people?
It feels like the rewards get worse each time (now they’re offering a few days premium instead of the first vehicle.
The task are increasingly more asinine-making you play game modes you normally wouldn’t, using vehicles that a lot of people don’t have unlocked/available
And now, worst of all they’re requiring people to have top tier vehicles to even be able to try to accomplish certain tasks.
And worst of all, it means if you’re just trying to play the game for fun you’ve got to deal with teammates who are forced to drive at the enemy kamikaze style to try to land shots at 40kph…so they end up dying fast, leaving matches, etc-generally making the whole game less enjoyable for anyone
I’ve finally let go of the FOMO of not unlocking rare vehicles and refused to buy it this time.
It’s made the game a lot less enjoyable in general which is a bummer-b/c I love WT (when I don’t hate it)

Honestly, it's like Gaijin and Wargaming are in an eternal "Hold Muh Beer" battle of who can make their player base suffer more with these missions... Every patch over on console I watch wows descend into madness every time missions get released on Mondays due to idiots who think it's a speed run.
Either Gaijin and Wargaming are getting worse, or players are getting dumber... I really can't tell which at this point 😅

I had to do this with just the M4A2 sherman in arcade because it's the only suitable tank I have

Russian E-Z mode...sometimes the BMD doesn't pen when it should but if you get enough rounds on target SOMETHING is going to get in...even when it shouldn't. Especially on the front of ANYTHING that isn't Russian/German. Dude, It's taken me 5 days now to do the rockets challenge (Ballistic test?)
Even things I don't enjoy about the game is fun when OddBawz plays it! XD
I met the challenge the easier way for me, any AAA with HE-VT ammo (M247, WZ305, VEAK 40,..) Average 5-8 kills, mostly helicopters. Otherwise, from Gaijin "Super-Marketing". Instead of motivating new players, its 100% frustration.
Something is/was off these past days. I could not pen a Panzer III from the side at 0 degrees from like 20meters with the BTR-152 with APIT and got killed by it while I bursted like 150 shots in it. Also T34-57 i shot at a Panther from about 50-100meters at the side in 20degree angle right above the wheels and no pen(I watched the replay both times to ensure i was not wrong in the andrenaline rush) while replicating the "same" scenarios in vehicle test mode even and higher angles resulted in almost immediate with the BTR and immediate death by the T34. Warthunder is warthundering i guess.
breh ive been farming aubl runs and some ebr shit, even base rushing late game with an R3 looking for other aa, I CANNOT FRIGGAN HIT SHIT with lead, AIM, OR FUCKING BE FAST ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!
If you don't have any decent top-tier vehicles to do this challenge, I was able to do it fairly easily with the Swedish U-SH 405 in Arcade Battles. It depends a bit on the map, but could get 1-3 kills per map, wasn't too bad.
This challenge still is pure garbage and the limit should have been set to 30.
Hey oddbawz could you review the hunter f6 at 10.3 as it has no rwr, flares, no supersonic capability, no active search radar, and sraam’s are only 2km range and somehow gaijin thinks its ok to face f14 tomcats with 13000 SL repair cost ,attempt #6

This is the only challange I will not do. I have too little time to waste to just holding W for + - 4h . All I want is to get to lvl 80 to get Object 248, camo and last lvl warbond shop to buy the italian Panzer IV :D already on 67 so I think I will be ok. This is maybe for people who want to upgrade the cupons.
I bought this thing for 160€ bc it was soooo good in all reviews. But it plays like crap. I’m soooo disappointed. If they nerf the 30mm then undo the 4 rockets to 10 at least -.-
i've been cheesing it with the BTR-ZD and R3-T20
i'm getting maybe 2 a day, because of how small the maps at low tier are, and god help you if you get karelia or any enclosed city map, no places to build up speed, and too bumpy to aim.
only a 35 min video this didnt take ya to long did it 🤯 Hell I haven't even tried to tackle it yet i can just imagine how fun this shits gonna be. So just hold the W key and fire and I can get a nuke to 😋.... Nice job though on the stupid mission made. But now Gaijin got it set so people need to feel the need for speed instead of camping now LMFAO...
IMHo it is very bad challenge. As was said - it is near impossible to do in slow tanks without gun stabilization - which are all tanks under 8.7 BR. Not fair to players with rank 3-5 tanks, very not fair!
My friend and I did it with spaghetti and pizza delivery vehicles. The R3 T106 is almost meant to be played this way. If you don't get a kill, don't go back immediately, just keep driving.
I am not sure what happened to autocannons. My R3 can hardly scratch anyone anymore even with AP belts. I sprayed a soviet T-34's turret ring point blank and no pen, no dmg. Same for cannon barrels in general, they hardly change color anymore.
For this battle pass it doesn't matter if this ridiculous challenge is almost impossible in lowtier vehicles, because there is another challenge thats hardcoded do be 100% impossible: "do 7 kills in each rank". dont have a rank 7? no challenge for you!
It's probably easier to get the kills in AB since there is no negative multiplier
It's the same with the rocket challenge, you can't actually complete it unless you have access to 7.0+. It's super frustrating for me, someone who has reached mid-tier on all nations and only has tanks and planes up to 7.7 on Britain. Wish they actually put some thought into it ffs
1) You just decided to not play AB, a normal person would... just play AB 2) At that point, like literally half the rank III tanks can comfortably maintain 40 km/h
I used to be a good game but not as too many people cheating with third party software people who work for the company make the cheats it's not worth playing anymore people are doing amazing things and I record it incredible shots I seen a guy killing 15 tanks level 17.. this too much cheating going on too many people is in third party software to hack Don't waste your money or your time
Just ground this one out yesterday. All I had that could do it was the hellcat in AB. Works like a dream for those of us who don't have any stabilized tanks.
I did this challenge in arcade using the pt76-57 and zsu-57, as well as a wz305 driving between spawns and waiting for planes. Definitely one of the worst challenges in the bp so far, up there with the depth charge kills.

I accidentally got one towards this challenge in the FIAT 6614, was racing to help a friend out and an enemy vehicle popped out in front of me so I panic fired and got them while going full speed lol.
I did this challange with R3 SPAA 😎 so many attempt 😂 so those who don't have uppar tier fast light tanks, to do this mission I Suggest Italy 6.3.
When i got frustrated at randomness of 8.3-10.3 matches i went to arcade with BTR-ZD and drove around the base shooting planes, way easier.
I went full PUMA in RB to get this done. It really highlighted how foolish it is to just W key but it worked. Also arty kills when you are speeding also count FYI
This challenge basically forced me to just go full speed and suicide in to get 1-2 kills Somewhat fun since it is something different, but mostly annoying.
Ezy solution for ppl at 9.3 Germany if u struggle in RB : use Bagel Panzer in arcade vs planes, 4 games and the challenge was completed.
I'm starting out so Rank III is as high as I've got. Only way I can do it is to use the Ystervark driving full blast down a straight bit of road firing wildly at aircraft. It's slow going.
please play the T-80 and T-18e in the USSR 2.3, they are fun and you havent got any video on both tanks (69th try, yeah i know)
Meanwhile I didn't complete even the first challenge (125 kills) because I just didn't feel like playing when it was available :D

Very annoying but got it done on Realistic with the PT 76 57. Definitely pissed some people off in the process because that tank isnt already liked especially if its rushing everyone off the bat each game

Ok, this easy. One of your vehicles needs to be anti air. 40 kph is 24 mph. See plane coming.....get to 24 mph shoot....takes awhile.

I used the pt-16-14 and was able to get 2 7+ kill at 40kmh games on Fulda and got it done much faster than I thought.
