Actually once electrification is done,they can speed up both Vasco Yesvantpur and Vasco Velankanni express to superfast covering YPR to UBL in just 6 hrs 10 mins like Belagavi Superfast and then 5 hrs to Madgaon and making travel to Goa from Bangalore in just 11 hrs 10 mins. Thereby making it a great option for Konkan people and tourists. Vasco Velankanni should be made daily leaving YPR late at night and arriving Vasco at around 11:30 AM or 12:00 PM,so that people can have a great view of Dudhsagar Waterfalls during the day.
@@TrainVideosNKCS No I meant how Belagavi Superfast covers YPR to UBL in just 6 hrs 10 min,this too can be speeded up from existing 7 hrs 10 min to 6 hrs 10 min and an e loco between YPR and UBL,it will benefit and help a lot of tourists going towards Goa,Karwar and train would be a much better and cheaper option than bus. Even the Chikmagalur Passenger can be converted to a normal mail like the Mangaluru Yeshwantpur train with only 14 coaches but with two coffee themed Vistadome Coaches which can help branding and tourism where Kadur to Chikmagalur people can have a view of coffee plantations from the Vistadome coaches and also high quality Chikmagalur coffee too can be made available by the locals in the Vistadome coaches at economical prices so that it can establish Chikmagalur as a major coffee center and help in Karnataka's coffee business marketing.

Speed cant be increased much with just electrification. There are more factors involved
Belagavi Superfast doing the same time in Diesel days as well.
