I already have my S+ for pro plus 100% game completion, so I’m just watching for fun as I just discovered your channel. I’m really enjoying this run. Your commentary is great and very encouraging. Good stuff homie, subscribed. Fun tips: if back away from an enemy as they swing, it actually increases the frames for a perfect parry. I’ve been hitting them more consistently this way. Also, a shot to the torso that causes them to stagger/fall back a bit followed by a shot (or two) to the leg either sets them up for suplex or they fall down setting up a knife insta kill. Useful for ganados you know are scripted to have plagas. HGs w/laser or blacktail make it pretty consistent. Sometimes it even blows their leg clean off. You probably know most of this so hopefully it’ll help someone who passes by this comment on their pro runs.
In the room where you get the red lantern from Gloria, if you drop the huge chandelier by pulling the lever where the crossbow enemies are it gives you a yellow diamond :> It doesn't count as a treasure but it's really good to have if you want to inlay it to get higher value from certain treasures. For example for crowns I like to inlay 3 red beryls and 2 yellow diamonds instead of the usual 5 different colors because it actually gives 108,000 ptas. as opposed to just 100,000 ptas.
Selling crowns like that is a (slight) waste of money. Say you have 3 Red Beryls, 2 Yellow Diamonds, 1 Emerald, 1 Sapphire and 1 Alexandrite. If you put the 3 Beryls and 2 Diamonds on the crown and sell it, then sell the rest by themselves, you get 108k for the crown and 15k for the leftover gems for 123k total. If you instead did the full gem suite, then sold your remaining 2 Beryls and Diamond, you'd get 100k for the crown and 25k for the spares, getting you 125k total. That's 2k more! You got less money for the crown but you got more money in total. If you have more slotted treasures, that 2k difference goes up because the gems' potential worth is multiplied. Beryls are very valuable to have because they help you get the highest bonuses for the Lynx and Necklace. Using 3 on a Crown is a waste. You should only sell a 3 Beryl+2Diamond Crown if you don't have the Emerald or Alexandrite to get the Crown to the 2x multiplier and need the money for something right away.

What I did on my S+ was take all the trausures of Village and Castle, and hauled ass on the island. I did miss one or two treasures on boh places, but took most. And the only treasure worth getting in the island is the crown. Managed to complete it in 5:15. So here I am surprised that you get all the treasures and requests, in less than 5 flat... you are a legend my friend.
Had a huge stomach ache and resident evil is basically my comfort game so when I can’t play it I watch gameplays. Basically, I fell asleep to this and some of your other videos because stomach aches make me tired and your voice was very relaxing. Soooooo thank you 😊

Oh WOW! I'm glad I'm not the only one doing the Challenge! It was hella fun playing through the game. I did however add more challenges like no damage run, no rocket launchers, kill all mini bosses etc. Save only at the end of the chapters etc. Playing through the chapters does allow you to learn the mechanic of the game + the enemies positions and attack pattern. Kudos to you! i wish every gamers out there who try this a good luck!

Here's one tip that I always use while running through the bridge after the church. At 26:23, if you drop down at the very corner of that ladder (the corner that's right in front of that torch), you can actually bypass the trigger that spawns the two dudes who run towards you when you drop down. The prompt to drop down won't pop up when you're in that corner, but if you spam it enough, eventually it will let you drop. I know it ain't much (saves you like one shotgun shell) but I'm very stingy with my ammo lol. And as always, very helpful guides man and awesome commentary! You are the reason I got my cat ears and use the matilda in my runs lol!

Im back with ammo missables. In the village section where you shoot the pearl pendant off the fan (cog section) there is a box behind the shed (that has a medallion in it) that contains a static hand grenade drop. I feel like even though they arent as OP as in some other RE games, its useful to count on a static grenade that early in the game. Also in the lake village area (where you can use insignia key later and where the dogs spawn) you can enter the house near the beetle and it holds shotty ammo and a clockwork castellan Bonus tip: If you shoot barrels during del lago they are 1000 ptas each :D As always you rock and i owe my cat ears to you and your guides

1:36:04 you can actually shoot the snake gong before getting the treasure and Ashley would go pull the other one to open the door. saves some time i think
For the Goat Head room, the only thing that you need to do is kill the Red Zealot (for Red Beryl) and grab the Goat Head. You can immediately leave the room with a Flash Grenade. You can come back to this room later as Leon after finishing Ashley's section and there will be 2 regular enemies only to kill for the whole room. And then you can freely loot the room and shoot the last Blue Medallion.

FINALLY GOT S+. Thanks a lot for making this guide. What i did is, I played mercenery and got S+ on the first 3 maps to unlock Handcannon, and exclusive upgraded it on chapter 7 with a ticket. Makes life much easier

Thanks for the video. Got my Cat Ears. It was clutch in terms of time. I lost for some reason so much time at chapter 4 that I was 7 minutes over the time at the end. I reloaded back to the 1st castle save and skipped all treasures that aren't on the direct way. I also used the hand cannon, to make up time and not worry about ammunition. Improved my time by 18 minutes and got the S+ I'll do a proper "No Bonus Weapon" run another time to get the 2500CP.
in the farm section(the part with the windmill), you can knife the pitchfork lady first and then go through the barn with the cows and knife the guy before he notices you. Saves some ammo. You can also knife the medallion on the hut with the save point if you want to save ammo too. In chapter 8, you can sneak through the right side of the gloria room to knife both archers or you can knife one and drop the chandelier for the extra diamond. Money isnt really an issue for most runs, but it might help later on when the merchant sells resources.

I finally got my cat ears a few days ago. I kept missing it by a few minutes but using your videos along with a couple other strats I got it with 22 minutes to spare
There is a well in the village to the right of the belltower where the small treasure chest is. It opens up after chapter 2 and if you go down it and go through it will lead you to a ladder that takes up beside the barn. No treasures down there, but a few barrels and if you don't kill the one ganado that causes the dogs to spawn it offers a safe way to get through without fighting the dogs or having to break the lock on the door.
At 3:41:21, if you go to the top left corner instead of proceeding to the right, there is a drawer/cabinet thing on the wall that has a loot. At 3:41:40, as soon as you turn this lever, the wall on the opposite of this lever is another drawer/cabinet thing on the wall that has another loot.

Same. Favorite small gaming channel by far, I wish there were guides like this for all the games I play. The positivity and joviality makes the challenge so much less daunting, without being overly hand holding. It's like having a friend with you in party chat who knows the game you're playing, which is always fun. Can't wait to see him cover 7 and 8, which I know he will, but after that is what I'm really curious about. Where the channel will go from there is anyone's guess!

Oh WOW! I'm glad I'm not the only one doing the Challenge! It was hella fun playing through the game. I did however add more challenges like no damage run, no rocket launchers, kill all mini bosses etc. Save only at the end of the chapters etc. Playing through the chapters does allow you to learn the mechanic of the game + the enemies positions and attack pattern. Kudos to you! i wish every gamers out there who try this a good luck!

Here's one tip that I always use while running through the bridge after the church.
At 26:23, if you drop down at the very corner of that ladder (the corner that's right in front of that torch), you can actually bypass the trigger that spawns the two dudes who run towards you when you drop down. The prompt to drop down won't pop up when you're in that corner, but if you spam it enough, eventually it will let you drop.
I know it ain't much (saves you like one shotgun shell) but I'm very stingy with my ammo lol.

Im back with ammo missables. In the village section where you shoot the pearl pendant off the fan (cog section) there is a box behind the shed (that has a medallion in it) that contains a static hand grenade drop. I feel like even though they arent as OP as in some other RE games, its useful to count on a static grenade that early in the game.
Also in the lake village area (where you can use insignia key later and where the dogs spawn) you can enter the house near the beetle and it holds shotty ammo and a clockwork castellan
Bonus tip: If you shoot barrels during del lago they are 1000 ptas each :D

For the Goat Head room, the only thing that you need to do is kill the Red Zealot (for Red Beryl) and grab the Goat Head. You can immediately leave the room with a Flash Grenade. You can come back to this room later as Leon after finishing Ashley's section and there will be 2 regular enemies only to kill for the whole room. And then you can freely loot the room and shoot the last Blue Medallion.

FINALLY GOT S+. Thanks a lot for making this guide. What i did is, I played mercenery and got S+ on the first 3 maps to unlock Handcannon, and exclusive upgraded it on chapter 7 with a ticket. Makes life much easier

It was clutch in terms of time. I lost for some reason so much time at chapter 4 that I was 7 minutes over the time at the end. I reloaded back to the 1st castle save and skipped all treasures that aren't on the direct way. I also used the hand cannon, to make up time and not worry about ammunition. Improved my time by 18 minutes and got the S+
I'll do a proper "No Bonus Weapon" run another time to get the 2500CP.

in the farm section(the part with the windmill), you can knife the pitchfork lady first and then go through the barn with the cows and knife the guy before he notices you. Saves some ammo. You can also knife the medallion on the hut with the save point if you want to save ammo too.
In chapter 8, you can sneak through the right side of the gloria room to knife both archers or you can knife one and drop the chandelier for the extra diamond. Money isnt really an issue for most runs, but it might help later on when the merchant sells resources.

There is a well in the village to the right of the belltower where the small treasure chest is. It opens up after chapter 2 and if you go down it and go through it will lead you to a ladder that takes up beside the barn. No treasures down there, but a few barrels and if you don't kill the one ganado that causes the dogs to spawn it offers a safe way to get through without fighting the dogs or having to break the lock on the door.
At 3:41:21, if you go to the top left corner instead of proceeding to the right, there is a drawer/cabinet thing on the wall that has a loot.
At 3:41:40, as soon as you turn this lever, the wall on the opposite of this lever is another drawer/cabinet thing on the wall that has another loot.
