+Skkittles Stunt double always had (and still has) better damage and plus on block clones which give lots of possibilities. Fisticuffs was a one trick pony. People just had no time to get used to that famous string. He was decent, but imo not at the same level of SD and of course A-List. The nerf was overkill.

It’s crazy how a mediocre variation gets nerfed with no buffs in return while characters like Kung Lao remain unaltered and sooo dominant or even better, characters that are already Dominant such as Quan Chi get buffs!! By the way, the startup was changed to 11, not 10, so it''s even worse xD Also, although it was not in the patch notes, the pushback of the speedbag was also increased in a very weird way, so you get less hits on block and their number varies a lot depending on which character you are hitting. It's ridiculous. To be viable, the variation need to get reduced startup on B1 and/or reduced block recovery from speedbag hits. Also, the ex fistbump would be very good. And a faster recovery for the normal fistbump.

Is there a technique for the execution on a double run cancel like the 8% guaranteed block string @ 9:04 ? I can't seem to do my run cancel fast enough to be able to do another right afterwards.

What Eddie said about the high-mid-low string is true, I fought a Jonny couple of hours ago and when I saw the 1-1 I immediately blocked low expecting it, but he went for the overhead multiple times he he, fighting a good Jonny is a pain

Now if I see that, I just 114skcancel into F3skcancel into throw or another mixup. If you I do it correctly It jails and I have another chance for a mixup or throw. I really think Johnny needs a low starter though.
+SoulFlameXXX no way, he has the best pressure in the game. A low starter would be absolutely OP. A sweep is the only low starter you need to check people. That's like if Liu had an overhead starter, would be OP.
Skkittles Kung lao, Tanya, Sonia have better pressure, Tanya and Sonia both have low starters, which are still harder to block than Johnny, and you have to guess their lows, unlike 113 or 11 to 4 from Johnny which you've seen enough to know how to block it. Kung Lao does not have a low starter but he has more options than Johnny.

Ketchup have you done a video that covers run combo cancels and all that? I'm having the most trouble with executing runs outs of combos and im always falling just short of getting close enough to hit after running toward them even when i perform the most timely run. It's so frustrating when everyone else makes it look so easy and fluid like its no trouble at all. I really want to master this. is there some trick to it im just not getting? :

I really don't think it was the worst. Stunt Double and Fisticuffs were both on par with each other pre patch.

Just a tip, when you see 11 just tap down on your pad. This will block the low and block the overhead if he does it
