I'm using this same photoswitch for my 12 volt leds the wiring diagram has the red and black switched around backwards. Had to wire it backwards to get it to work
that's confusing. u said its 12V, 10A but in the teardown there is a 10 ohm resistor in series with the 12V input. so how could it ever achieve 10A? which component do i change if i want it to turn ON when its a little darker outside?
Hello, I have a Twilight Low Voltage Outdoor Lighting Transformer Model CB-250B and the Light Sensor is bad. The power output is 12v AC. 60Hz, 250 Watts. The Light Sensor or Photo Cell is only two wire approximately 5 ft long , (White and Black) Looks like a 16 gauge wire. I need to find a replacement. Any suggestions?
+BIFFY425 I've got two of the same switches, had them about 3 months, just looked at using one and found the instructions to be totally retarded. It has red, white and black wires and seems to suggest using the black lead as +12v???? well that ain't gonna happen on my watch........ I'm stripping it down and figuring out how it should be connected.
+BIFFY425 I worked it out, took it apart and made sure of the connections, then swapped the wires out for some (different colours) that made more sense.
