⚠Notice : If you are using BC547 instead of 2n3904 (I made the video with 2N3904),you need flip the BC547 (face down) , since BC547 pins out are different from 2N3904 , BC547 is CBE(123) , 2N3904 is EBC(123)😊

Instead of a 1k resistor, I would recommend adding a 50k or 100k potentiometer so that you can adjust according to the room lighting.

Works well, but power to the LED is lower, so the light is not as bright. Maybe a different resister would work better?

You should be able to swap that out with out any issues. Just check the Datasheets, make sure you match up the pins.

Hi person who made this video , super awesome content , but u see the part when u melted the thing a little so it can stick ,can u also just use a tiny piece of insulation tape or glue or something to stick them together?
It's named pond, it's used for tinning machine, i don't recommend to use scotch tape. I recommend to use the tinning machine

Ok for pilot projects.Will not work properly if light is changing slowly. Use a 555 of opamp for triggering at different threshold

Hi Hosein Goodarzi , just try adjust the resistor which connected to the base pin (the middle pin) of the transistor , replace it with a variable resistor :)

Sir if im using a battery with 3.6v what value of resistor should i use to power a 3-4v led?
3.6 V minus 2 volts for the led leaves 1.6 Volts. assume the LED draws 20mA R=V/I 1.6 deviided by .02 = 80 OHM. two 47 OHM is seris is close to 80

You can use with it 12 watts 12 volts DC bulb also. I have tried successfully.

Hey, I wired my circuit like that but for some reason it will only turn off if I shine a strong light (such as my phone's torch) directly into the ldr. I'm making a card game board and I want the light to be off until the ldr sensor is covered by a card. ..so basically it's not working like yours. xD any help you can offer would be appreciated man
