    Yeah, one shock for sure. One spring, one set of valving adjustments, one set of mounting tabs. When dirt bikes went to single shocks way back when, they never went back. Cool build!

  • @iadc43
    @iadc43 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I think it would be much better to cut the minibike upper backbone pipes out and fit in a single tube upper backbone to mount that tank, instead of cutting up the gas tank to fit how the bike is now. Way better.
    Just cut them off somewhere near the front of the seat and weld in a cross plate at the front of them, then weld a single pipe from there to the neck.

    So little of the Coleman is left, is it really still a Coleman? The frame is so basic, bend and weld some tubes together for a frame, make an engine plate, put the original stock parts from the Coleman on it, and you have a second CT200 lol

    Would it be okay to put a bigger axle on it if someone did this themselves? I see you did a 36”, But would a bigger one be okay, like a 46” or maybe up in the 50’s? I feel like a really wide trike would be awesome.

      Perhaps if you go longer, an 1-1/4 axle would be better, and of course would need more bearing and a longer swing arm

      50 is way too wide in my opinion. A three wheeler is dangerous any way you look at it but I do plan on putting a 40" axle on it to widen it some. It has a 36 right now

      Okay, that makes sense. I really wanna start a build similar to this, but with a different mini bike frame. What seat is that? I don’t see it on the go power sports site
