People say its called redbreast because of the colour of the whiskey have a look at it in the glass when you swirl it around it's a beautiful red colour .by the way that's the real story to the name .great review 👍👍
I bought my first bottle of 12 today. Never tried it before, oh such a refreshing taste in the world of whiskeys! A great whiskey indeed 👍
Yet another great review guys , 🥃's . I had equal amounts left over of green spot , yellow spot, redbreast 15 and Jameson caskmates stout edition and blended them all together and it was phenomenal !!! .

What's your score for Redbreast 12 and 15?
I recently bought Both Redbreast 12 and Bushmills 10. I kind of wanted to compare an Irish Single Pot Still vs an Irish Single Malt.
I have to say, the Redbreast 12 is the best whiskey I've had to date.
The Bush 10 was great but there's something about that Malted+Unmalted barley combo from a single Pot Still that is phenomenal!

I know this old and you don't post videos anymore. I'm curious if you've tried yellow, red or blue spot and how you would rate them and compare to redbreast 12 and 15.
loved the lustau first , but the 12 blew me away due to the price .... such a wonderful brand ☘️❤️

Have you guys had Redbreast 12yr CS? I believe the 12yr CS is superior to both the 12 and 15. As much as you guys like the 12 the CS blows it away so give it a try if you have not.
I have a very foggy memory of thanks giving at jays where I may have tried it but we are gonna get one ordered just to be sure!

Have a 12 cask strength and a 15 (& the Leoville Barton actually) the 2 to 1 12 & 15 combo (& a splash of water 'cause of the cask strength)...

@@CraftWhiskeyBoys in my experience blending Irish is a bad idea. Never as good as its individual parts. Scotch on the other hand is a different story. Love doing a scotch infinity bottle.
The 15 really benefits from a dash of water to tone down the burn and open up the fruits and improve the complexity.
Yep! 15 grows on you too. I used to prefer the 12 but my pallet now finds the 15 more interesting. I have a bottle of the 27 my wife gave me as a gift. Just need a reason to open it.

I like it a lot and I like that I get smooth oiliness from it, so could you recommend me 5 or more smooth oily whiskey to try, single malt or blend or bourbon it doesn't matter as long as they are oily and smooth
what's your opinion of the Powers? (gold and 3 swallows)
@craftwhiskeyboys I wish you had done this tasting blind. That would make a great segment: taste all the RB expressions in a blind test... no cuts, no edits

Halfway through my first bottle of RB 12. My go to Irish is usually Bushmills 10. I generally reach for a bottle of scotch when I get to the price point that RB 12 is at (Lagavulin 8, Bruichladdich laddie). I don't find RB 12 very complex but it sure is tasty in a lip-smacking way. Very satisfying.
Bought redbreast12 for tommorow because i quit my Work hope It’s as Good as you say cause It’s the day I waited for such A Long Time ;D
