Irony is "Bhaddhu" was originated in Kumaon but lack of market has shifted it's base to planes. It has three parts &then joined together.Base is made of eight metals. Due to low temperature, soups are more enjoyed. Thank you anyway for this.waiting for more from Kumaon.

It's just so overwhelming...coming from Kumaon, from Uttarakhand..and having traveled and lived in a lot of Indian cities, I can confidently say that the people from hills are just soooo humble and sweet...Garhwali, Kumaoni, Jaunsari, Bhotiyas and others..their accent is just adorable...simple people with simple dreams....and m especially talking about those living in villages... Beautiful video

Chandan Singh ji is living his life like a genuine human. I guess we all have to learn a lot about what we should chase is life and ultimately cherish. The chase - the 'bant' which gets enriched taste with the continuos boil till the end by 2pm. The cherish - pure and simple food by the corner of an unknown hilly road; complete soul food. Ultimate learning - ho sakta hai ki hum ek nichi jagah mein hain magar apake khaane aur khilane ka auda kai guna uncha hai. From now on Chandan Singh ji has become my inspiration. Great life!

Im from nepal and my grandmother’s family were called kumau brahmin whereas we are jaisi brahmin. Later on i found out that her ancestors migrated to nepal a long time ago from kumau india. So basically half of my blood is of kumau descendants which somewhat makes me similar to the people of kumau and im extremely glad n proud about that.
Some areas of kumaun and some areas of Mithila were exchanged between India and Nepal when the British were in power. Therefore you can find many people in the uttarakhand region looking like nepalis. Bdw 60% of Nepal is kumaon as much as I know. One kumaoni guy from India told me this.
