I liked part 2. It just wasnt Alundra. Even on its own, it wasnt anywhere near as good fun as the original. I enjoyed moments, and the music was very similar to the original, so I liked that. @@GameCircleTv
Where do I start? Shining Force 1 and 2. Landstalker. (I'm still pissed they cancelled the PSP remake for that). I would love remaster of the original NFS Hot Pusuit and High Stakes. Currently waiting for the Suikoden remaster. Whats happened to that? @@GameCircleTv
Wow. Except for the Need for Speeds (which you chose, two that I love, especially Hot Pursuit), we have the other games on our list of videos that we are working on. Great list. You will definitely end up seeing videos on these series. Thank you for the support
I'm so late to this video. Alundra 2 is my favourite game of all time as I played it at 5 years and finished it when I was 10. Then I played Alundra 1 when I was 16 and thank God because it's a ball busting masterpiece. Honestly, Alundra 3 is my ultimate video game wish. I will die happy even if I just hear that it's going to be made. As a kid, this and Tomba 2 helped me so much in my education, using my brain and improve my motor skills. I'm a teacher and I always suggest Alundra 2 to the parents and to remove Fortnite from their lives. BTW extra points for the MJF music in the background.
I appreciate all the feedback. Thank you for this. We also spoke about Tomba and many other great fan made games and are also reading any suggestions for future videos. Btw great story and nice suggestion to parents
Hi! I've completed both Alundra games, and can say there's no experience points nor a way to enhance stats through battling itself, and that Alundra 2 seems to have more puzzles, and more challenging ones too, just not difficult ones by being cryptic like on the first Alundra
@@GameCircleTv Storytelling wise, Alundra 1 is great and atmosphere is too. Alundra 2 doesn't take storytelling in as serious tone, but that isn't a bad thing; gameplay/puzzle wise I find Alundra 2 a bigger challenge, and more fun by too
Thanks for reminding about this great game! I never beat it when i was younger as i was stuck on one of the puzzles! Going to get back to it and see if i got any smarter!
Alundra 2 was one of my first games as a kid and i loved it. I Never player the first one so i can‘t compare them but as sombody who really loved the second game, the Voting is really Messing with me xD. But the first game you Play, Most of the time makes an opinion biased. For example, Dark souls 2 was my first souls like. Altough so many people dislike the second dark souls, i was able to really enjoy it.
This is the type of comment we like to see. Can't be that everyone hated it, right? The good thing is that you enjoyed it and the memories it brings. You should try playing part 1 some day as well
I never realized that this game was hated by alundra 1 fanbase, until i read all of the angry fans on gamefaqs and other site. As someone who play alundra 2 first before alundra 1, i always liked alundra 2.
@@keselekbakiak Sometimes the hate is a bit extreme. Personally I like them both. Its not even that big if a deal. But I guess certain people love the original to the core
Alundra is one of my most beloved videogames and i played it over the years and this video was good but in your video you say that the first game had leveling and stats mecanics but is incorrect. The only stat you can rise is life and magic points you need can findig the item to do it (Life Vessel and Magic seed), and your damage rise only finding the advance item like: dager to sword and so on. Theres no exp wining or leveling. the only thing you can do is equip 2 active items, the principal is the weapon and the secundary item can be a cosumable or a help item (like gloves to move rocks from the path). I apreciate your hard work in the video of this jewel of game, i will suscribe to suport you in the future.
Right. Making me think that there was at one point an Alundra 3 for something to happen to, but there wasn't and the whole premise of this video is clickbait. It should have just been called an Alundra series retrospective, but then I might not have clicked on it. @@GameCircleTv
@deedoubs 🤣 It's not clickbait. For our Lost Games Series, we speak about what happened to gems that fans have wanted a remake or sequel for. We break down each game that was released and provide information on where the series is today. For this particular game, unfortunately. Matrix Software chose to give up on Alundra.
@GameCircleTv >For this particular game There *is* no particular game. There is a hypothetical game that doesn't even exist in the heads of the developers as far as we are aware.
I'd love a HD remake of the original
Seems like it would fall just right around this time a nice hd remake. You did not like part 2?

Lol, those poll results say it all. Why did they even call it Alundra 2? Alundra wasn't even in it!
Exactly! I always thought the same. I mean, Alundra was the originals name. They messed up big time there.
@@GameCircleTv It honestly feels like they just tacked the name onto a completely separate project that wasn't even planned to be a sequel.
