    Thanks Taylor !🙏
    We had a lot of fun shooting this property.
    We use a 24-70 f2.8 and 85mm 1.4. The 24-70 is great but can get heavy for the gimbal which at the time was an rs2.
    The biggest challenge for this property was the time on site. We had 2 hours on site on the Thursday to shoot the cars, model & fpv and then 2 hours on the Friday to complete the gimbal footage of the house. The video was then required to be delivered by the Saturday morning as it was launching with a national campaign the Australian News outlets were covering. (I believe you can find the story on channel 7 news)
    Due to the above the music was licensed and I can confirm the music cost more than the price of the video 😂 but the clients fell in love with the song and were adamant on using it.
    Fpv footage was completed by @squid-fpv. Although our team can fly basic fpv drone movements .. when it came to a $10million property with $500k worth of windows, we didn’t want to take the risk 😂.

    I love how the edit put shots together in such an intentional way. Using the edge of the roof in the FPV flyover as a wipe transition to the backyard structure that transitioned into the spin, the the way the model was looking up and turning to give reference, then spinning again, the timelapse clouds, the pan, and spin again. Structured very well... plus the music had the lull that gave a little pause, then picked back up.
    I would love to see more emphasis on the day/night transition. Overall really well done and engaging. Great review also.

      Agreed! Lots of thoughtful choices most people won't notice but do add a lot to the viewing experience.

    Love this series of you breaking down videos and showcasing other work we probably wouldn't see! So here's my take - I feel like I appreciated the shots/cinematography more than the video itself. Loved the variety, shots are near perfect, like you mentioned still shots of the model, but it's just almost too much for one video. Like every trick in the book all at once. And while watching I almost forgot what it was about since I was just focused on the cool shots. Love the concept and super skilled to pull off work like that, but I would use it more for shorts/reels to get the most engagement, and then produce a more "toned down" version as the actual video. (if the goal is a "real estate video") Now my takeaways are I'd love to include time lapses, never have! Cool breakdown 🤙🏼

    Cool video. This style IMO really only works for this very modern style of home though. Did you notice, I think there are a couple dolly zooms at the 1:02 mark. The tight shot of the couch and the next shot. I could be wrong, but it looks like its stretching. That's neat.

      100% it would look hilarious on a house that doesn’t look cool already lol. I think those are just subtle keyframing added in post. To exaggerate it you could also slightly push in or out opposite of the key frame in camera to make it look even more like a zolly too without having to pull off everything in camera 👌

    Hey Taylor, thank you for all these videos! They’ve been super helpful!! I am just starting, I have done about 7-8 projects. Only photos and drone pics for now but I want to start doing video. What lens do you recommend to start for video? I have a EOS RP. Thank you so much!

      Hey! Here’s a link to my cropped sensor canon reccs! Rf10-18 should be good. I haven’t tried it out to test the distortion but from what I’ve seen it looks nice. kit.co/taylorrbrown/budget-real-estate-photo-video-hybrid-kit

    Its always a hard balance between making a cool video using all of your skills, making the Realtor happy, making the seller happy and making a video that answers all of the questions of a potential buyer. One thing is for sure though, that was a DOPE video

      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Haha yeah that’s probably impossible, honestly. There are lots of needs an edit can fulfill though! Great upsell opportunity especially thanks to shortform edits 😉

    I learned there's a lot to learn. It was definitely unique and interesting.
    I see you're using a TANGO ii (?). What sim are you using to learn to fly?
    Keep those videos coming! Love your style and content.

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks! Yup, I’ve been practicing on a simulator game called Liftoff (on STEAM) Pretty fun! Just trying to be as ready as I can before I start crashing real drones lol. Do you do FPV??

    • @arnetwigt8193
      @arnetwigt8193 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hah. Yes that’s why I’m practicing too and I also use Liftoff primarily. I’ve tried some other sims like DRL but Liftoff is fun and close to realistic physics wise (or so I’ve been told).
      I plan on getting DJI goggles 2 or Integra once I feel ready before I get / build a drone.
      Are you looking at specific FPV goggles yet? Hope to see your future videos that incorporate an FPV shot or two 😉

    These types of videos are good for reels/shorts. If I was looking to buy a home, this will not entice me to purchase it. The interior shots were great plus the pool shot.

    Love these videos! Always looking for a new angles and directions. Great mix of shots, not a fan of the the model or weird car flex shot in the beginning, but hey its art, lol. It's always crazy to me to see the level of time on location ppl put on these edits. I show up to a site with 2 houses and I have 4 hours to do it all. I'm guessing at this level you don't show any of the stats in video of the house, rooms, bathrooms, garage, square footage, etc... All good, have a great day!

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks! Yeah I think this style is more for boosting social media engagement and highlights instead of just documentation. Totally different purpose! I guess as long as there’s pics and stats on the listing it all works together to deliver the info if that’s the potential buyers focus. Will be interesting to see how these trends keep developing and when people revert back to timeless cinematic vids 😃

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo

      100% depends on what the client wants. Minimum 3 hours for photo & video, Max 1-2 days for just video lol@@MichaelFreechild

    hey, would you purchase the avatar for fpv?

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey! It seems like it would be pretty good for these scenarios since it's easy to start using and get set up (and its set up to safely fly indoors if you want to). The camera isn't quite wide enough so a lot of people still end up mounting a GoPro on top to get that normal FPV look. I'm planning to get a normal FPV though not the Avata. Who knows, maybe they will release more models that are better though!
