Omg these women may the ALMIGHTY GOD bless and protect them. Very hard working women and thank you sis for showcasing them to the world. We your viewers and fans appreciate you.
I appreciate you more. Blessings
My late mother had those pots and loved them , we can help the ladies by making orders at a good price as a way of promoting our culture and assisting the ladies . Keep us posted .
Looking forward to be part of this
That's a great idea!
The most important thing is that they are happy.
You have now added the title documentarian to your CV. This has been so engaging and entertaining. I felt the fear, I empathized with the women's struggle and it makes me want to be in a position to help. Bravo!!👋👋👋
Wow, thank you!
Thank you for stating it so eloquently. My thoughts exactly. Very engaging video.
It was not in vain jael that you relocated to the village. Try talking to the county govt on the women's behalf for some kind of help. I was so shaken when I thought of the soil collapsing.
I'm in America. My heart goes out to the women. So hard working. Very proud of you my mothers and sisters.
Thank you
The only words I can say may the Almighty favour them in all way together with their children & family.
Thank you Sister.
These women are risk taker may the ALMIGHTY GOD bless their hard works
Amen

@@jaelofthevillage I just saw part 2 is available! Thank you!
Jael I think this is an award-winning video. If there's was a place to submit it for best documentary in some category, this should take the overall best. Your best video. I could feel it not just see and hear it.
I'm glad you feel that way. Thank you so much
May God continue to bless them all❤
Oh my! This is beautifully done Jael. Raw, detailed, so engrossing. How can we not appreciate the hard work and artistic abilities of these women. Not to mention your talent in creating this documentary. Please let these strong women know how much we appreciate their agreeing to participate in the filming. We appreciate you also Jael. May God keep them safe on every trip.

Beautiful people. Lovely work of art. I would purchase a piece but I’m in the USA. GOD BLESS THESE CARING MOTHERS❤️
Thank you so much!
Ooh my God this wonderful ladies are risking it all just to make sure there is smething on the table. May The Almighty bless the work of their hands. Jael darling how can someone appreciate these ladies
Thank you so much. I will be sharing how to reach them in part to of the video. Don't miss it. They will be choosing one who can lead them.
Yah,but I thing everyone as long is at place of work to my thought is risking only that what we risk of earnings are very less n stressful
Jambo Jael🥰 What a task and adventure. Much thanks and appreciation to you and the village ladies for sharing this process with us. The actual thought of what they go through to earn a living to take care of their families is mind blowing. I pray that one day the conditions will change for them and they continue to do their craft under safe conditions. When one sees a clay pot and admires its beauty, you have no idea of the process it took to craft it. May their willingness to continue in their craft be rewarded with blessings greater than their needs. God bless them abundantly and continue to keep them safe! 💜🙏🏾🫶🏾🌺🙋🏾♀️
I really enjoy watching these strong, hard-working women making their artistry. Thanks for sharing!
It is a tough means to put food on the table, but they do it with a lot of joy. Their funny stories keep them going
This is a documentary we orth watching I value it .the ladies are so hardworking may the almighty God bless them more
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful documentary, thank you Jael. My granny also moulded some years ago. That's what took us to school those years, today I'm a medical doctor. So I have a beautiful love for these hard working women.
Wow! This is a short, beautiful success story. Thanks for sharing and God bless all the hardworking women out there.
Hardworking and brave women.I love the way they learned this from their mothers in law. What a powerful documentary Jael wow BBC content !👏🏾👌🏾🎉
They need support that is what I see maybe if they can form a sacco or a way the Govenor can help-to retain our heritage-Gladys Wanga is very passio about development.
Yes. I asked them to do that. It is easier supporting them as a group.
Beautiful work ladies.May God bless the works of your hands.
Thank you so much
There women are extremely talented. Amazing how they make the pots. Thank you so much for your content.
Glad you like it. Thank you
I really love your content,Am glad I bumped into this channel, there's something to learn in every video.
Thank you so much Damaris
Love the narration..its like watching a documentary..kudos
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is such an eye opener on the effort of the women to get that modeled pot we see in the market. The women...i like the interaction 🎉 and sharing. So authentic. I will never negotiate for lower prices
Please don't 😅😅
Boy!!!ive not seen the whole video, but….this is what you call…LIVING 👋👋
This is nice work and tedious as well. The ladies are risk takers indeed, I wish there was an easier way out and a ready market for these pots. Thanks Jael.
We are working on a way forward. When the time is right,God will make it happen.
Oh my goodness Jael, this has made sad and scared on behalf of these brave souls.
But side note;you're an amazing narrator. You draw your audience so effortlessly and with such eloquence. Much like NatGeo narrators.Thank you so much for this.
Thank you so much!😍😍
Thank you, I really appreciate this documentary.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Jael, I do not know what to say. I really do not know what to say. Sigh! Thank you for this video and for letting these women's voices be heard, for sharing their challenges and way of life with the whole world. To see the struggles these women and people go through just to meet their basic living expenses makes me pause and reflect...
What I like about them is the fact that they don't feel sorry for themselves. They wear beautiful smiles in the midst of the challenges
Lovely hardworking ladies making healthy cooking pots under difficulties may God make ways enabling them to sell widely. Thanks sharing with us💯
You're welcome, darling. I hope this opens doors for them.
My grandmother was a potter. This video has brought back fond memories. Jael you tell the story so well. Amazing.
Thank you so much
Erokamano for sharing this. I remember as a little girl going to fetch water when we visited Dala. But these beautiful ladies live this life daily. I shared with my Mom because it’s such beautiful memories that I now cherish as a grown up. At Kwaras place the river crossed through the property ❤️
Thanks for sharing. You're welcome, darling
Thank you for sharing. It is very sad that these women are not being paid fairly for the handcrafted pieces that they are creating. In the US vessels like this are extremely expensive.
Women work hard to care for their children. What could be done to sell their pot in places like here in the USA so they could get a better price. I love your videos. I learn so much from them. God bless.
We will find a way to get them out there. God of possibilities
May God bless them.
Jael please also think about doing documentaries and sell them to local tv stations, this could be another avenue for you to explore.
Aah, good idea. I'll sleep over it
The documentary is both interesting and sad at the same time, its very interesting to see hardworking women ,using there God given skills to make a living.its very sad to see hardworking women risking it all to make ends meet, there effort goes unrewarded especially in the markets spaces,l hope the county government can come through for them ,and make there working conditions favourable.l love the unity they have, one day God will reward them for the good effort .Your level of narration is topnotch ,l felt like lam watching a documentary on CNN.. you support women in your village alot jael, may the heavens pour many blessings to you ,may you never lack, you are blessed.
🙏🙏 thank you so much,Winnie. I hate to see suffering and living in the village has opened my eyes to a lot of suffering people. It's only that I can't solve everyone's problem. I wish I could
Hardworking women. May God protect them.
He will always do. Thank you
Jael bonjour. Very interesting documentary. These women are brave, creative and hardworking. The documentary is well made Jael very good work.
😊 glad you love it
Jael the content is really good as you take us to the real situation on the ground. I use pots for cooking and I actually buy mine in kendu bay. I love them.
I really wish the translation wouldn't disappear so fast. I couldn't read your texts so I am lost on much of what they are saying.
Secondly, the potters who do flower pots in Nairobi know how to improvise old car rims to make potter's wheels and that makes their work faster. If there's a way we can organise for them to get the wheel would be of great help to them.
I am looking forward to buying more pots from them. Flower pots would also be a great variety.
Thanks for letting us in.
You're welcome, dear. Thanks for the feedback, too. I'll do better next time. ❤️❤️
Jael the volume was low though I don't understand the language.
such a lovely piece you did here...the heard work that our mothers go through just to take care of families is just humble...may God be with our mothers and grant them more healthy lives
Amen. Thanks darling
Such a wonderful documentary about these strong women that do what it takes by any means necessary to take care of their families
Thank you
I could not take my eyes off the screen. Jael, thanks for sharing.
Huge kudos on your amazing well done first doc 🏆.
Whenever I purchased beauties like these from shops here in the US,
I cherish and I scream when anyone gets near them. For I understand these
treasures are not mass produced somewhere in a factory.
Now that I have had the glory of watching my sisters so diligently
trekking and crafting these precious gems, I will apply even
more protection (if that’s even possible) on my hand made items with even more pride and joy.
Can’t wait for more of your exciting and interesting content.😘🙏🏽🤗.
Thank you so much. The fact that each pot is carefully hand crafted makes them even more special.
Hi Jael, My husband and I have loved this documentary from UK ❤️. We have said we would like to visit the village and buy each different pot to support these amazing, hard-working women. I pray we never stop practicing communal living in Africa. It is what keeps Africans mentally stable and not overwhelmed. These women are such brave and admirable workers!
True.
Good job, Jael for this invaluable documentary for generations to come. Please take pictures of and name the different pots respectively to educate and inform the ignorant. This, I believe, helps with marketing and identifying what one needs to buy and for what purpose. Congratulations to the ladies and their good work. They are making history and passing down valuable skills while earning a noble and honest living. I very much appreciate that they are NOT brewing illicit and health-destroying drinks, and that they commit everything in the able hands of the Creator who gives all good and perfect gifts. They have earned my respect. Please pass my regards and encouragment to them.
I will. Thank you
