To support the women, you can order their precious pots through Jacinta (Nyanding'o) on 0706213719 . She is the leader of potters of this village. I hope you enjoy the documentary as much as I enjoyed spending time with the potters.
Dear Jael, You are such a beautiful story teller. And there is something about your voice, so much calmness, peace and purity. It heals the soul Honestly your videos are therapeutic to watch and listen to. Thank you for the contribution you make to the Universe
I live in India. I love to watch your videos just to listen to your commentaries. Your words which are filled with empathy are so soothing. I can almost feel myself being there and living your life. Thanks. ❤🙏
I have now understood all the processes of how its made. God job jael keep uplifting the community. I will definitely order mine once i complete my house as flower vases.
Very hard working women. I love those pots. These used to be our coolers them days, water from them always tasted good and cool, and some pots are for cooking. How we didn't break them still remains a mistery to me😂😂😂. Thank you Jael, you are doing a wonderful job
I have enjoyed this documentary. I have a new respect for The Potter! Thank you ladies for allowing us to see your hustle. God bless you with your hearts’ desires. 🙏🏾❤️
Yah n even should not sold 200 ni kindogo walai ata kama mnasemanga sisi kiuk rwapeda pesa why all that sweat drain that way ,I think you can understand sio pesa twapeda we calculate ,aki
I think one mistake the ladies made while burning the pots was using all dry grass....that's why it burnt off so quickly. They should put a layer of green grass or shrubs on top. It will make it burn slower also traping the heat which will be better for the pots.
Jael bonjour. Very nice job making this documentary, you could work for National Geographic or one of those as a freelancer. These women are hard working women.
Amazing content Jael. Interestingly, Nairobians prefer the “red” pots. We should order our pots through you as an agent of sorts… think of it Jael ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the great content. If possible show us other skills in your village. I am keen to learn about traditional skill that never get a place in the mainstream knowledge bulletins. Perhaps you could show us how the people of the village build their house, make baskets and if they do how they wave fabric for cloth and how they make natural dyes.
Beautiful documentary ❤❤❤ your voice over is something I live for... you make it feel like am listening to an African storybook😁 , very beautiful and calm🤍🤍🤍 and those pots are beautiful, beautiful craft
Nice one J. I believe these women's lives will change. Am learning alot n I enjoyed watching alot n God bless you for everything you are doing. Planning to order in the future. ❤
Hi Jael, hope everything ok on your side. What about the rain in your residential area. Take care and stay safe. Seeing the flood in Nairobi is so scary.
Asante sana Jael🥰 was waiting on this vlog. Will share at Prayer service on Friday evening. Will continue to pray for the ladies that their business will increase. Mungu akubariki to them and you! May God continue to keep them safe from all hurt, harm and danger. May God bless their families and homes. May God forever smile upon them and give them their hearts desires. 💜🥰🙏🏾🫶🏾🙋🏾♀️
Wanna reach out to our women working hard with the pots,, I couldn't make a call to Nyading'o via WhatsApp ,, how best can I reach her given the fact its only WhatsApp am available,, how best should I approach this Jael pls help ...
@jakobohjakamonye2764 Hello. Unfortunately, none of them has a smartphone. You can WhatsApp me on +254 726689806. I will share your message with them. Thank you
Jael. I know you send sweet potatoes all over Kenya. Can these women sell these pots through you at a premium? I'd buy one for what it's worth. Thanks for being their voice
The lady invoked a powerful creative Luo female deity/God "Nyasai" when she set the fire up. Jael mistranslated the invocation as a prayer to the Christian patriarchal God 'Father above...' possibly because she's not familiar with her powerful ancestral luo spirituality.

Wow
They inhale alot of smoke. I wish they had smoke masks on.
They inhale smoke every day. They cook their food daily using firewood.
The lady invoked a powerful creative Luo female deity/God "Nyasai" when she set the fire up. Jael mistranslated the invocation as a prayer to the Christian patriarchal God 'Father above...' possibly because she's not familiar with her powerful ancestral luo spirituality.
Oh really !? I thought it was the usual prayer to God
The God she called upon is a male diety, and she also calls Him "Jehova".
