For ppl saying its too heavy for hunting...its ment to hit a weight for nrl hunter class shooting mainly in 6.5creed and be more of a range toy. Theres clearly lighter options from tikka for hunting.
@stephenferguson6363 build one...tikka's are good but there are much lighter actions out there...my tikka lite in xlr mag chassis isnt bad but my custom 700 in same chassis is quite a bit lighter...aluminum is cheap but heavy and most ppl arent gonna pay for a factory gun with a true lightweight chassis...bergara is mg/micro light is closest your gonna get for 2500-3000 range
@brentwinkelman1990 i did i built a 7mm prc with a mdt hunt 26 chassis with a #2 contour 1-8" twist barrel. With a nightforce nx8 2.5x20 is 8 pounds on the button it's a real shooter 180 eldm at 2900 fps
I carry my tikka supervarmint in mountains about 18 km in hunting... My father carry sniper rifle what have about 8kg with scope,an full magazine It is not heavy we are weak.
T3x lite with an MDT HNT26 chassis is 2.8 kilos, and stock folds too, compared to 4 kilos for the Ace Game with fixed stock. BUT the MDT setup much more expensive due to Magnesium and Carbon Fibre.
Sold my HNT26 due to lack of light mag from MDT. With the metal mag from MDT, HNT26 is totally wasted. Plus, the forend is not rigid for the HNT26. Dont waste your $
Ok nice to,see something new. Have a tikka t3 past years I have struggled with my 300 wsm as of comfort your ace chassis is just lovely but living in Canada your canadian dealers are shit no accessories and or hard to get service and part's. Where can I get this chassis in Canada and accessories that I don't have to wait a year or more? Poor customer service as far as I am concerned. Anyways thanks for your time plus where is an email cannot locate that I could contact someone directly. I have 4 tikka rifles and a new look would be nice. Anyways thanks for your time
Hey Tikka, feel free to contact me, I'll offer you my help to make the planned hunting version a success! Guaranteed! If you look at all the comments the general opinion isn't that positive on the released models. So let's work together
I have a question. Why do the blued barrels rust so badly? I've taken my roughtech out hunting this past season all season long. It rained on a few hunts and the barrel would be rusting so bad it was embarrassing. Before i could finish the hunt id have heavy rust on the barrel. I live in east tx and have taken even the remingtons hunting and they didnt even come near to rusting this bad. I love the rifle very much and absolutely love how accurate it shoots but if there's any moisture its a rust bucket. How can i fix the issue? Can't afford to cerakote and already paid a thousand dollars for the rifle.
@cahilroberts4169 I like folding stock for transport in my vehicle. Shorter rifle bag. Also I have a sig cross, there is no play in that folding stock because it locks up with a wedge, so it will stay tight even with wear.
Fully adjustable tactical bolt action rifles are really taking off. The arca swiss is a nice touch

But people want a light weight chassis rifle for hunting...

This will make an excellent box blind over a big field deer rifle and long distance range toy.
I was super pumped for this so i could stay all tikka for my hunting rifles but almost 9 lbs is way too heavy. And folding stock option would be nice
Hello, are you going to release an accessory to make the stock foldable ?
The 23.7" version does not fit within 6cm...
Maybe.... :) We will let you know when the time comes.
@@Tikkainternational I’m not to wait this feature ^^
Thx for the answer !
Looks great honestly. 300 WSM available?
^this
will you be able to buy the stock separately?
yes probably later on this year. we will let you know.
Will the Ace stocks be sold as an accessory?
yes probably later on this year. we will let you know

Left handed in 6.5 prc and 7mm prc would be real nice both 1-8" twist with 22-24" barrels
jep it would!

Get some duracoat do it yourself. It's easy and pretty durable I have two seasons on mine holds up very well
Left hand?
This chassis is ambidextrous. So you can use it as a left handed shooter.
@ but the bolt will still be on the wrong side
More flutted barrels. Hope have an option for non-flutted sporters or varmint profiles
Way too heavy! You should have made it light like your Superlite or make it like the Howa Superlite. Not interested!
Literally no one cares if you're interested
Wait for Sping time. We have another one coming, made for hunting! you will see!
too heavy for hunting, on top of that you wouldn't have taken it out for left-handed people.
To heavy and why does the stock not fold? Y’all are missing the mark on this for what people want for a hunting rifle.
This isn’t a hunting rifle. It’s a PRS rifle
Foldable stocks are overrated, another point of instability and failure
Folding stock 😂😂😂😂😂

@@SammyMoore-tg5gsthen why is it called the Ace game and not the ace target😂
I like it, but it’s too heavy for me personally for hunting.
What is the weight?
Wait for Sping time. We have another one coming, made solely for hunting! you will see!
Why are Tikka barrels so slow?
You're slow
