You didn't actually follow the process. Clean, apply paint, dab with finger, allow to dry, apply the blending solution, apply the polish and then wipe away the haze.

Thanks for uploading this video, I'm considering buying that set myself for my A5. Got it cheap because of loads of scratches and stone chips on the paint so hopefully this will hide the majority of them!

That's a really good job to be fair. I've the normal paint correction which isn't amazing but it ain't bad either. This stuff really looks the part tho.

You could look into getting a "pops and bangs" remap. Can sometimes cause a bit of damage to the catalytic convertor, so may be worth getting a decat exhaust first :)

Why would you make a 15 minute video but not include one of the most important steps 🤷‍♂️

Would this work on scratches/scraps too?

What if the chips have developed into rust? Does the product mention anything about this?

If your chip has developed into rust you HAVE TO get rid of the rust first. There are pen style rust removal solutions that work well for small damages. You put it on, leave it in and it eats the rust. Clean up and after that you can apply paint. If the rust damage is extensive or seems to cover more than you can see through the chip i'd turn it over to a professional.

I might be wrong but I'm always 99% sure the blending solution that you firstly apply to the area will deal with the rust.

Roz Sa why take a chance though, there are rust eaters specifically for the job. I doubt covering up the rust with paint will do anything for the rust except slow it down a little.
