- Tyrolean wasn't the plan. The plan was to race @ Northstar.
Sadly we were smoked out and Northstar didn't even open, this was a fun alternate.

Being a tyrolean by birth I needed to see that video as well. Dang your pace is awesome and I'd love to hit jumps like that. Probably a bit late to start with that at 48 😁 That MTB spot looks fantastic!
Just moved to Santa Cruz from incline, started mtbiking there. I’ve been going to ucsc and now I realize how good tyrolean is hahah can’t wait to be back 🤣🤣🤣

Killer! I accidentally stumbled on this trail last summer, before the jump line was finished. Looks nice. Hopefully conditions improve before the big races this month.
Really hoping the smoke stays at bay but the fires are still ripping away, who really knows! I'm stoked I was able to ride the trail with the jumps but I bet it was a hoot even before them. The bottom rocky and fast section was an absolute blast on the 2nd lap.

Do you have to shuttle this trail?
You can pedal up the road but I would definitely recommend shuttling!
@@justin_niemi Thx. I’m riding it for the first time next week. I have a Santa Cruz Nomad. I have both an X2 air shock, and a DHX2 coil. On that trail which one fits the bill better? Is it really chattery that I would want a coil?

I just recently went to 24FPS. Actually this video is the first time I’ve ever recorded at 24FPS. Generally I shoot 2.7k at 30fps
