Right! JFK as #1....omg. Lincoln's was more impactful than JFK's. Or even MLKJ's assassination had more impact. Or how about the assassination of President McKinley which led to the presidency and "Big Stick" policies of Teddy Roosevelt.
Not to trivialize JFK's assassination, but I'm inclined to believe that this list was politically motivated. 😉😄

Gavrilo assassinating Franz Ferdinand led to WW1 and the Treaty of Versailles was the peace treaty that ended WW1 made Poland and the Polish Corridor which started WW2 which led to the Cold War and the dissolution of the USSR.
If that's not an assassination that changed the world, I don't know what is.

Of all the depictions of Caesar's death, the best in my opinion is the one featured in the episode "Caesar", of the docudrama series "Ancient Rome: The Rise and Fall of an Empire." In this version, Caesar (brilliantly played here by Sean Pertwee) notices the Senators drawing knives as they surround him, but, instead of panicking or fighting back, he just stands still and holds out his arms, ready to become a God. The scene then fades to black and the episode ends
