He says so much that most viewers may not understand, and dip out at 3:35. They should listen carefully to see how important it is that he's saying. Putting all this together was not an easy task and he makes it seems so simple. Thank you for this video.

I had to turn up both Utube sound and computer sound to 100%, makes me think this is intentional to minimize views. Other speakers on the same channel are fine, no sound issues. Sound intimidation at work.

Although he has a shitty past... I feel like he's talking some real truth and no one is giving credit in the comments. He has an incredible good point about how these social media platforms can optimize people/users and censor them. Culture is becoming more internet based and we need to be extremely cautious and self aware about this today

The Little guy was used by the Mercers
to develop a program to market Politicians.
      In the American electoral industry
the ability to manipulate thoughts is
      a way to promote Profits.
Mercer figured out how to manipulate data
to produce profits in Hedge Funds.
      Transferring that use of algorithms
      into manipulating electoral sentiment
enabled him to quit his Day Job....
It appears that Robert and Rebekah Mercer
now operate the most effective Marketing Program
in the 14 billion buck electoral industry.
The GOP is their best customer....

Excellent presentation, well-spoken, lots of interesting concepts explained, Hybrid weapons that are intended to hurt/harm someone, targeting informational asymmetry, target profiles observed acting in concert, the cultural zeitgeist, knowing something means it can be recreated by experiment, Feynman versus Tesla, fashion is powerful (clothing), 87 million Facebook users were harvested, Wrangler versus Abercrombie Fashion Brands TV shows seeing the world as matrices, Facebook knew and did nothing, blackballed tried to sue and intimidate Wylie typical criminal organized crime actions,

0%, it's definitely not just them. For instance, the researcher who initially gave the facebook data and psycho-graphic model (the one that turns your posts, likes, dislikes, and contacts into a relatively accurate psychological profile) also passed that data and model on to Russia via his research with St. Petersburg University with which he was affiliated.
Obama's campaign team also engaged in similar modeling back in 2012, although it may not have been as sophisticated at the time (but that was 7 years ago at this point). On top of that, advertising companies have provided a big market for employing techniques like these since they make more money from highly targeted ads.

The beginning was strong, the reframing and undermining or underminding was heavy on the negative one side, and it made me wonder if there was a more comprehensive approach to presenting the information with a stronger sense of eunoia.

Amidst talking about something so relevant to our culture and society, throwing in that Grindr joke should have received much more laughs than it did! Either people were not vibing or they were too engrossed in the serious nature of this issue, and by-god I hope its the latter.

Never found this guy credible. Feels like he's working too hard to push his narrative that he was innocent in all this. Question why did he continue working there for so long? Question why did he take Facebook data & try to setup his own consultancy post Cambridge Analytica if he recognised it was such a terrible thing? I noticed his legal crowdfunding efforts have been in no way successful.

he actually attempted to sell this service/data modelling to the liberal party in Canada (the current majority federal government) during elections, and they refused his proposal. he should not be considered a whistle blower, because he architected and shopped this unethical model before arriving at Cambridge Analytica.

He is attempting to explain how Bob and Bekkah Mercer
became the new boss of the GOP.....
He is making the use of computers to influnce
      election, seem credible.
He does not need to tell us it works,
that seems to have been demonstrated by Trump and Brexit....
