I think I remember something about motorcycle design and dealing with heat. Besides the outdoor environment, motorcyclists have to deal with heat generated from the motor and exhaust. It's hard to imagine Moore's law will make riding more comfortable.

id like to see a thermal gun on cat, shield ,shock. after riding for an hour to judge heat saturation
Would it be even better if I would used some gold reflective heat tape on the underside of the shield before mounting it?

No we don't. We didn't do that work, the bike was brought to us like that. I believe it simply uses the 890 ADV-R parts for the conversion.

It may. It depends on where that heat is coming from. Is it the engine or the exhaust?
