I always wondered why Bron said Shea was on the ship and then she mysteriously shows up and the next time we see Bron he has nice clothes and a castle. Did the queen buy him off to turn in Shea and force her to testify.
It makes more sense in the books. His martial plans with Lorrys Stokeworth go as planned. Cersi is paranoid as hell that he's hiding Tyrion or, at the very least, still working for him. She tries very hard to have him killed. Shea testifies because she wants to. Her true self shows more in the books. What she says while testifying hints to that. She didn't have to say she called him the Giant of Lannister. That's something she could have kept to herself but wanted people to mock him. In the books Bron isn't even the one that is helping Jamie with learning to use his other hand. Ilyn Payne is helping Jamie because he can't speak and Jamie doesn't want everyone to know.
Someone gave a possible answer in a other comment. When Joffrey dies Tywin has the harbour immediately locked down. So maybe the ship hadn't sailed yet.

Possibly one of the best episodes of GOT. We get both the Hound's monologue & the scene with Oberyn. Imagine filming that scene on your first day.... Jesus! 😂
honestly in the books Tyrion is known to be quite nimble and acrobatic, so he might be able to beat the Mountain just doing cartwheels around him and hacking away at his legs 😂
Came here to say that scene where oberyn explains how he first met tyrion as a baby is one of the best in GOT... and dammit ill say it again even tho im about the 25th to do so 😅
When you analyze the Littlefinger, you're forgetting the fact that man actually set in motion this whole mess. And he has been playing it tactically to improve his status the whole time. From a poor skinny lad from the Fingers, to a brothel owner in the King's landing, later on becoming a master of coin, and all the way to taking the Vale by eliminating Jon Arryn and then marrying Lysa, and killing her right after. His sights on Sansa is nothing surprising because with all the male heirs of the house Stark gone (Ned and Rob dead and Bran and Rickon presumed to be dead by everyone), Sansa is the key to the north which is the largest of seven Kingdoms. And if you relate real-life examples from our own history, his advances towards Sansa are not "grooming" because even though this is a fantasy show, it was acceptable thing to have girls marry at the age of 10-11 (Sansa's age in the books) and especially 13 (her age in the show) in history. Only in modern times, age of consent was moved to 16,17, or 18 depending on a country in Europe for example. So yeah, Littlefinger is hardly a pedo, he's a true mastermind when it comes to playing the game of thrones.
It was absolutely not acceptable in European medieval history for girls to marry at 11-13. It was very rare and criticized when it did happen because they were considered too young. Girls usually married between 16-20 depending on century and country, and the boys they married were typically the same age or a year or two older.
A famous example of a (noble) medieval child bride was Lady Margaret Beaufort, who was married at 12 (as part of an arrangement meant to strengthen Edmund Tudor's potential claim to the throne), and became a mother at 13. She had an extremely difficult birth (Henry VII) that almost killed her and lost her ability to have further children, which was attributed to her being too young.

I noticed that many reactors in this first scene think that it will be Jaime who will be put into combat in the trail by combat against Tyrion before the scene changes to the Mountain, but let's think about what sense it would make since Jaime lost his main hand and is no longer an outstanding swordsman xD why would anyone put him in a fight in this condition?
