Passing through Lincolnshire villages on my way to Bransby Horses. I stopped for a closer look at this church on my way back. Luckily it was open, so come inside with me.
Love the colour of the stone and so nice to be able to have a look around inside. Thank you for sharing and the previous one with the cute Shetland ponies xxx
Good morning Ilona. I’m really enjoying these little excursions ! I live vicariously , as I have always wanted to visit England since my teens/ I’m in my 70’s now ! This church is stunningly built. Look At those beautiful windows. So huge ! Must be a ‘regional’ church! Your prayer was beautiful and much needed. Thank you for all you do.❤xx
Thank you for sharing your lovely day out Ilona. You are right, how lucky we are to have our churches and cathedrals. Places of peace and time to reflect awhile, to pray and give thanks. To stand on holy ground and think of all the people who have worshipped in these places over the years x
Wow. Magnificent. I love churches too, especially the centuries old churches. Such historical significance. I would love to have met the men who built it. I’m sure they were happy with it. They usually have bells. Wasn’t sure if they had any. I love your sweet, heartfelt prayers whenever you are in a church. Thank you for stopping by and showing us. ❤️
"Welcome to the Minster Church of St Mary, Stow in Lindsey, the Stow Group of Churches and the Friends of Stow Minster. For many centuries Stow has been a small country village, but its origins lie at the heart of the Christian mission and ministry to North Lincolnshire and the ancient region of Lindisee Traditionally, a Minster was a Church which provided both a worshipping heart and an administrative centre from which Christian ministers and missionaries were sent out to the local countryside and villages. Stow Minster remarkably still has such a worshipping heart and a desire to serve whilst being considered by many to be amongst the best tourist sites and visitor attractions in Lincolnshire."
Thankyou Ilona I was thinking how different our world could be if everyone turned to the lord and truly believe what the bible says and not listen to many priests now who are wolf's in sheep clothing who want to change the bible to suit them selves we need another Charles sturgeon to Evangeline to lords word and remind people jesus looks at our hearts x❤
Thanks for taking us on your adventures. It’s good for us all to stop and say “thank you”. If you’re interested in how they built churches the novel “pillars of the earth”by Ken Follet is set against a background of building a fictional gothic style cathedral. It was also made into a tv series. The former steeplejack Fred Dibnah did a series on “the building of Britain” which you can find on you tube. He has a very enthusiastic but easy style of presentation.
Thanks. Very nice. It’s good to remember how much we have and be thankful. If you are interested in how the churches and cathedrals were built. “The building of Britain” a series by Fred Dibnah is very good. Also “pillars of the earth” by Ken Follitt is a story with a backdrop of building a gothic cathedral. It’s a book and Tv series.

So beautiful church ...and so old. I wish i could drive to see places like this
Thank you for your video Ilona, beautiful church, absolutely huge. Didn't know the post office goes to the church. Take care Ilona xxx
This is happening quite a lot now. As Post Offices close They look for alternative buildings to share with. A church is ideal.
Amen! 💯✊
