- When I saw that a new DJ Booth System had been launched and it had the advantages of the ADJ Event Table / Equinox Truss Booth but the advantages of a DJ Façade I had to order one to see what exactly it was like and if it was something that would work on a day to day basis for a DJ.
This video covers the unboxing of the Equinox Combi Booth System along with initial setup and then a timed setup and timed pack down. I also show what it looks like with DJ lighting installed and how much space if left once my Pioneer DJ Controller is installed on it. I was very surprised at actually how good the new DJ Booth Façade system was. Take a look yourself and let me know what you think!

Love the video and Unboxing JP. Looks very effective as a space and time saving table, Gigs that i have done for some hotels only give you a certain amount of time to set up before they want the guests back in, so fast and clean is a good way to go.

Was looking at both this n Adj pro event table 2 but this being the more compact /lighter n £100+ cheaper price of this together with your detailed n thorough review as sold me on it.
Only do few gigs here an there these days but be it pub or birthday or wedding even what with having the black/white scrims seals it for me.

@@RealLifeDJ only question I had is do you think you could fit 2 CDJ stands on each corner, or would that be too heavy? Would have an MCX8000 on the main shelf but would like to add some CDJs to my home setup so I can practice on them!
Just bought one for smaller gigs. Can't wait to reduce my set up / knock down time. Little concerned with lack of space. However for smaller gigs I'll run my lights master / slave instead of DMX so no extra kit.

Defiantly the best of both worlds. Looks really good and so easy to put up and take down again. Not sure if they should have put a hole for the wiring in the middle. Noticed your flight case feet was over both holes. Great revue my friend.
Hi Baz, yes with the flight case it blocks the wire holes, but that’s just me being lazy and not taking the the controller out! 😎🎧👍🏻

I have the same unit but from a company called Cedars Link. I got it 2018 and used it in my own wedding reception. It was great for the height because my partner and I are 6feet tall.
RoyalSingleton it does have a nice height to it and I have seen it’s available under a few different brands 😎🎧👍🏻
I have this exact same one. Cedarslink is essentially the combi-booth but for the US market. Cheers!
Nice work. I use something just like but has another name, for ceremonies. If you can afford them, have a look a Lite Console booths, I use the XPRS and love it you pay extra for the attachable gantry but its worth it for a very clean look.

Really nice video. Love how you go through all of it. I am only realizing just now that there was a single booth available ha. I bought the equinox DJ booth a few weeks back but it is double the size of that and damn heavy. That one looks light. Struggled to get my one up the stairs yesterday to put it together.

Great video! However, I don’t think this specific unit is available in the states. I like how this is mostly facade, but the top part is mesh, so the gear may still be highlighted.

I use turntables positioned 'battle' style with a 12 inch mixer. Would this fit without problem??

Hey bud. First time looking at your vids. Finally someone who covers everything logically. I am liking this stand , called the Vonyx sb4 in Aus, but i am going for the bigger sb3 as I can fit more on the desk. Want to be able to use my larger Denons or sl 1200's which don't fit on the video model. Not much more expensive than the db4, the db3 is a bit stronger, although set up not as easy. Cheers for vid. Wish someone did one on the sb3...Dk Kwulity

Quick question JP. I managed to get my hands on the Combi Booth! First gig Sat night - loved it! But the UB9 doesn't quite fit? Its a bit too long - maybe half an inch to an inch? Have you found this?
I use thee ADJ Ultrabar 9 and it fits, no side screws in, just the bar.
Real Life DJ I bought the same based on your video, took the side screws out too but it’s still fractionally too long? One end sits up? Weird that yours fits as I’d seen someone else on Mobile DJ Network saying they had same issue as me?

It really does look great however my concern would be if a child pushed on the cloth and the Velcro didn't hold in place so the child then falls through it. Maybe its just me that sees this happening, your gig logs are great by the way.
Hi Mark, If a child did touch and fall through it’s an easy fix to put back and unlike a facade it would still be standing. The event table would not suffer with that issue. I’ve never had children fall against my DJ stand though! Appreciate you watching and commenting thanks 😎🎧👍🏻

I had a 1m ADJ Ultrabar 12 in that, but you can put any brand 1m bar for example you could use the Chauvet version hope that helps 😎🎧👍🏻

With good cable management, the event table wins if for me every time. Can’t stand facades, to me they look so dated, as do the booths.
I really like the event table look, I use one as well but I also have a few gigs where I need a small compact setup but I still want it to look good. I think this is a great booth for speed, style and effect. 😎🎧👍🏻

Takes too long to setup if you are at a Wedding for six hours you don't want to break this down at the end of the event. Wait till you start feeling pains in your back as you get older. This is thing of the past and they never really worked.
