Assassin's Creed Valhalla is an action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the twelfth major installment and the twenty-second release in the Assassin's Creed series, and a successor to the 2018 game Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Set in 873 AD, the game recounts a fictional story of the Viking invasion of Britain. The player controls Eivor, a Viking raider who becomes embroiled in the conflict between the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templar Order.
The player will have the choice of playing Eivor as either male (voiced by Magnus Bruun) or female (voiced by Cecilie Stenspil) and is able to customise Eivor's hair, warpaint, clothing, armor, and tattoos.
The variety of weapons available to the player has been expanded to include weapons such as flails and greatswords. Combat has been changed to allow dual wielding of almost any weapon, including shields.

@@guilhermefreitas1468The old AC games didn’t just have stealth. You could easily just run into areas without stealth and kill everyone. I’m replaying AC3 at the moment. Majority of the time I just run in and kill everyone. You can do that in every AC game.

In case anyone is wondering what the the skill to go into slow motion is called brush with death
I've never got that one but my game just does it anyway and my difficulty and everything is on normal

It comes in normal difficulty. But if you want more slow mo while attacking aggressively, you can get the skill Brush with death from the skill tree. It gives you time to dodge any heavy attack while handling 4 or more enemies. It really comes handy.

That dodge slow mo skill is such a ridiculously OP skill. It makes boss fights so much easier
Um no try doing this against the Druids you will get humbled so hard. This skill only works against sponge enemies. You would get put tf down Ireland trying to do this

Yeah that's the main reason I couldn't finish Odyssey, you get all the special abilities of a literal demi god and the regular enemies are still spongy as hell
Trust me Odyssey is slightly easy when compared to Valhalla

Brush with death is an absolutely ESSENTIAL skill to have if you want to stand a chance against Zealots and other other high level enemies. I couldn’t even beat the level 90 Zealot until I got that skill

It's a lot easier if you get a weapon that causes massive damage and wait your moment to attack after dodging and doing parrys. Also I recommend a skill of berserk that your life regenerates to the point it was if you don't take anymore damage

yea i remember ac, the franchise that got stale after ubisoft rinse and repeated the Ignorant boy to Stoic Assassin trope for the 9th time. Games started to suck when unity came out, RPGs saved the franchise

I’ve only played AC Odyssey since playing Black Flag back in the day. Dude, I fucking hate how they changed the combat so that there basically no parry-to-counter/kill combos. It really did take so much away from the essence of combat in assassins creed. A great game that has those types of parry counters/kills in Ghost of Tsushima. It’s cool because you can’t just mash buttons, you have to have a grasp of the controls and be somewhat competent at them. Just a little skill involved.

The old AC games combat was boring and easy. You can take on 20-30 enemies at once. Take no damage at all because you can just counter them and kill them. Grasp of the controls? It’s literally 2 buttons lmao.
@@ramby4436 For Ghost of Tsushima? No, where'd you pull that out of? The stances, parrying, all the throwables, checking where enemies are, etc. Like I said, it's better to not button mash in that game.
Haven't played Mirage yet but these last two AC games that I've played (Odyssey and Valhalla) had literally nothing like that. The combat is closer to something like the Beowulf games or the early God Of War games. That's something Sony Santa Monica fixed well; the combat for the new GOW titles. They put in a parry system, a modern third person lock om system, strafing, etc.
The "RPG trilogy" AC games don't feel like that. It feels like I'm playing something from much earlier in my life like on GameCube or PS2. It's just too simple and really not fun.

I feel like the brutes with axes are easier than the fast one with poison. I tried using dagers but they didnt do much damage. Used the death flail and mowed them down on my second playthrough.

Defeated a lvl 90 zealot as a lvl 24 with starter weapons ngl took me a couple of tries
When you're also a high level, that is actually basic, try fighting them just right after you built the Beureau in the Settlement.

I fought him way too early at power level around 60 on hardest difficulty. Didn’t cheese him but it took a long time. I think I defeated him by eating up all his posture plus his health still remained after all posture damage done so had to fight him more after that as well just clipping tiny bit by bit in battle. I was using the ability to throw a chain at him then throw him round at other objects which was fortunately doing more considerable damage than my own normal attacks. Defeated him in like 15 mins. Fighting him properly at low level on highest difficulty is painful af but if you match his level, Or you’re higher and don’t have enemy scaling on then you’ll blitz through him. So it’s relative to when you fight him in your playthrough and what difficulty settings you’re using or custom since I think Valhalla allows hardest difficulty but with enemy scaling turned off so yeah depends on gameplay settings as well.
Horsa is a simple boss most of the Zealots are but the two i have fought with spears are actually a bit tricky because of there speed and it was hard to dodged there attacks they are fast.

i have try 2 combo as newbie briton shield + kopis (perk heal HP so fast) tryhard gae bolg (dlc druid) + leonidas spear (crossover story) (perk hits 3 time can summon red thunder hit in head target + use adrenaline and kill target have fill adrenaline)
From games like Black Flag, what did AC turned into.. Ubisoft should be ashamed of itself.
horse and woden were so annoying to kill they kept healing at 5% health and they were the last tablet holders to unlock the best sword in the game 🗿🤣
