In 4 years they made absolutely no advances just this gimmick OMNI MOVEMENT which will be dropped for CoD 2025. Couple this with the thicccc SBMM this game is just going to give you a headache. I’m glad I got to enjoy CoD from CoD4 MW - BO2. Those were the days and these new CoDs will never come close.
I've been a KBM player for 10+ years now and I feel like I just have to bite the bullet and make the switch to controller at this point, I feel like I can't utilize half the potential of Omni-movement on KBM, no aim assist is also the most detrimental in close up fights which feel faster than ever.
I meannnnnn… you’re playing against pros and streamers that prolly had the beta already preloaded and ready to go. Wait till Black Friday or even next weekend lol
Last COD I played was BO2 on PC, I was an absolute sweat. Tried the new MW2 & Mw3 on PC and absolutely hated them on mouse and keyboard, guns felt boring and complicated, ui was an absolute disaster to use, game just didn't click. I must admit, picking up the beta on PS5 has been good fun again, the controller feels much more intuitive. I also picked up cold war on sale, the multiplayer sees a bit bland now compared to BO6. Defo pick up a controller and give it a go, you 100% need to turn on the auto sprint assist and reduce the delay to 0ms from 400ms. Makes the movement much easier
I’ve enjoyed the beta so far but something about the gunplay and mechanics of the game remind me of something from 20 years ago. It feels like the TTK is slow to me. MW2019 was perfect, I wish they would just go back to that formula.
just the SBMM its a joke i drop 4kd on average on 10v10 moshpit on mw3 - No SBMM game mode. Im struggling to go positive on bo6 so far. Gonna be another bad year due to SBMM
Omni movement is definitely something new to get use to but its not all that crazy yall making it out to be. I haven’t played cod for a while(about a year) and I came back cooking.
I promise its just the Kbm vs controller thing you mentioned. This game just has alot of screen shake and flinch effects. Its not really made for kbm when against controller. Anecdotal but, my 2nd controller game i went 72-18 and my 1st keyboard and mouse game i went 10-32. Im usually pretty good at kbm..
In every other game the old dudes always complain when the skill gap is shortened and then proceed to dominate the game. COD babies are the only old head gamers that complain when the skill gap is widened and then get destroyed.
The focus on skill gap and competitiveness is honestly making COD less and less enjoyable. Omni movement with MW19's or even MW22's gunplay and ttk would actually make this a more enjoyable. We would have slower movement but with more movement options, and more visual and actual recoil so you aren't just getting beamed in the open to compensate for the slower movement. Every gun so far is a laser beam regardless of attachments, and we have another year of shotguns being useless. The ttk is too long for COD, 3-4 hits at optimal range is the sweet spot for COD. Shooting someone 5-7 times at close range just doesn't feel good.
I’m nowhere near anything that resembles good just yet but I am really enjoying how the game feels and I’m actually excited to get my hands on the full game unlike the last few years of cod.
Honestly i've come to the realization that this community isn't really happy about anything anymore. They add new stuff and people complain, they revert back and people complain. If they remaster BO2 people will still find a way to complain. CoD has become a punching bag.

Game has been fun, on kbm im struggling a little but im looking foward to getting better and learning the movement when release comes.
I’m so happy COD is finally doing something new. I’ve literally skipped the last 5 games because they were just copies of each other. This looks far more fun. I watched your livestream, and you were more concerned with where to get a good thumbnail shot for your next video than with actually getting to know the new movement system. Maybe that’s why it wasn’t enjoyable for you?
This game looks super sweaty. And this is only the beginning. I definitely won't be buying this game.
Suuuuuure
Such a lame attitude. Why even play multiplayer games that involve competing against others with that philosophy?
u havent even tried it yet lmao u cod babies always have something to cry about
It's a beta of course nothing but the sweatiest are playing the exact reason I passed on pre ordering I'd rather wait until full release were it's a wider variety of players
@@gongshowjimmy557your the lame attitude. Just let people comment how they feel and don’t respond to them. Just let them state their mind. Wonder why you can’t do that 🤔
I’m glad you’re aging along with us friend!
I run a 4070 super with an i7-10700k and get 165 fps solid on absolutely maxed settings with no upscaling. 250+ at low settings with DLSS. Performance has been fantastic tbh
8:01 appreciate the transparency
It’s okay, not really that much of a stress on hands, but I can’t wait to see the new tactics on competitive!
Lets not forget that were also playing against some people who have been playing the leaked PS4 build for weeks!
Can we please tell trey arch to give option for seperate keypad inputs for dive and slide? Something that simple would really make a difference
it all sounds pretty promising for me, a mostly (at least physically) healthy person hehe. thanks drift0r!
the Performance Stutters you spoke about where very present in Series X as well so i think it might be at least partially server side issues as well.
CoD died after BO2. This game looks like an expansion for Cold War. How did it take them 3 years to make this? They made Cold War from home and it literally looks the exact same.
Bo3 was fire so was advanced warfare and Cold War also cod 4 remastered
Literally didn’t die you just stopped playing. Cod is making more money than ever. Your “veteran cod player” dollar isn’t worth anything to them
I've really enjoyed the beta so far
Jackal Ops 6
better than call of mp5
9:28 that window hop hell yeah lmao
It’s ok.
But I’m a Zombies player mostly, so I wasn’t really upset with how fast I died.
It was hilarious how much fun the HVT mode was.
I really love how the game plays! It feels like an action movie sometimes!
I've been a KBM player for 10+ years now and I feel like I just have to bite the bullet and make the switch to controller at this point, I feel like I can't utilize half the potential of Omni-movement on KBM, no aim assist is also the most detrimental in close up fights which feel faster than ever.
This game is amazing. Omni movement needs to be a golden standard for now on.
I meannnnnn… you’re playing against pros and streamers that prolly had the beta already preloaded and ready to go. Wait till Black Friday or even next weekend lol
I'm not gonna touch the multiplayer, but I cant wait to watch HummusThunder play the game lmao
I love this game already. The speed and low AA has me in my wheelhouse
The more I see the bo6 gameplay the more I appreciate Xdefiant
I’ve enjoyed the beta so far but something about the gunplay and mechanics of the game remind me of something from 20 years ago. It feels like the TTK is slow to me. MW2019 was perfect, I wish they would just go back to that formula.
just the SBMM its a joke i drop 4kd on average on 10v10 moshpit on mw3 - No SBMM game mode. Im struggling to go positive on bo6 so far. Gonna be another bad year due to SBMM
Ive had consistent 1.4 to like 2.5 k/ds every single game honestly i like that its been fairly consistent maybe just give it more time
Gamers when they play people of matching skill and aren’t just stomping casuals 🫠
Yeah I average a .9 on mw3 I been getting 3.5 consistently on bo6 just gotta keep at it bro
@@kevinmenard6792 Don't worry bud, I'll be reverse boosting all year so I wont mind crushing ur ego and making you a victim.
Im usually pretty good at kbm..
im a cod old head. i just want it simple 😔 i remember being super excited for arms to show up when you crawl in BO2…
Instead of buying the game, Activision should pay the causal players to be the moving targets to replace the over-heated AI server. 😂
I stop at "people don't really strafe on console" 😂😂😂
Skill gap and sbmm nice combo
Missed you drift0r. I hope you get better soon.
smooth af game, new maps although it can be more vibrant like bo3...
Anyone complaining about the movement needs to realize they never really were that good to begin with.
I hate the way u stay in sprint when your gun comes up.
I don't think my carpal tunnel can handle this one chat
If you are getting this shrekt I have no idea how someone like me who plays shooters on average 10 days a year would cope.
SBMM is designed to protect players like you, so you will be fine.
I'd say for console players auto sprint & the tacital button layout if your really struggling guys, makes the omni stuff much easier..
