    Thanks for review. Deciding between this and non-flip equivalent.
    It looks pretty bright at 50% which is supposed to stop burn in. Battery sounds OK but maybe there's some tweaks to get more during low intensity usage?
    Would that Type C port power a dock with wired peripherals and screen?

    Had it a week. seems pretty good. tip, charge the battery the recommended 3 hrs first. Screen is pretty good, oled, not 4k but much better than Yoga 6. Outside looks durable and smart. Nice thin appearance.
    When buying check the last 2 letters of model number, as there are many different specs. Some don't come with number pad for example.

    Very informative and thorough review mate. For the past few weeks I've been looking at this and the MacBook air m1 unable to choose which one i should go for. I'm a student whose use cases are web browsing, word processing, content consumption and a fair bit of programming. Any input from you would be greatly appreciated.

    • @SoulOfTech
      @SoulOfTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honestly either one will be good, the question is you need a full folding screen or just a laptop with great battery life.

    • @praveendissanayake2509
      @praveendissanayake2509 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SoulOfTech Thanks a bunch for the reply. A foldable is nice but not something I cannot do without. Good battery life and a great screen is what I'm more concerned about. That said the ZenBook is going ahead with the OLED panel but the air has a tried and trusted 2k display. Also Macs trump windows in terms of longevity i believe.

    • @SoulOfTech
      @SoulOfTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there, for day to day task both laptops will perform just fine. Keep in mind the x360 is a 2 in 1 so if tablet like functionality is important to you the x360 is your only choice. Assuming you do not care for tablet mode then I would argue that the M1 Air is slightly better as long as you get in 16gb ram.
