David Wilkerson was a true prophet of God. His heart beat for Christ and His gospel! I discovered him in the '70's and read his books and have listened to his tapes and his sermons. Such a great trophy of God's glory and grace!!! He's with his Jesus now. Earth misses this great man of God.

This teaching (the baptism of the holy spirit) is false, and is typical of Pentecostal/Charismatic groups such as Baptists, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Methodists, Assemblies of God, Anglicans/Episcopalians, and Catholics. The individual texts taken out of context are: Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:1-6 and chapters 12-14 1 Corinthians. I recommend you to read the whole chapters of these portions of the latter verses. Dave wrote a book titled the cross and the switchblade with John Sherrill and they taught this false teaching. Gary Wilkerson wrote a similar book and he says the same things. GOD ALMIGHTY used that place, Teen Challenge, to answer my years upon years of prayers for my Son to be delivered from evil. My Son stands STRONG for God since then. Unfortunately I did not hear about David Wilkerson until after his passing. But he is my favorite Preacher to this day. I’m very grateful to have access to his sermons. He was a very humble man. I believe he was indeed a man after GOD’S own heart. ❤️🌹
+antonina fedotova What we really need is the Holy Spirit and the Word of God (John 16:12-15; 1 john 2:27). If we follow men and read their books we´re not obeying God´s Word (Jeremiah 2:13). We do not need any more people, we only need the Lord Jesus Christ! (Jeremiah 17:5-8). What I have seen is that people do not study the Bible and they only comment about preachers they like. People do not even know who is really David Wilkerson! If people really knew who they are listening to! People have to learn about false teachers. There is the internet and they do not use it. I personally do not how to use the internet and I do not even speak English fluently but I can make myself understood a little. I have a lot of Christian literature in Spanish that I used to study but I do not anymore. I have learned that the truth is in God´s Word only.

I was disappointed when the world news on FOX did not tell the world of the death of David Wilkerson. I found out on facebook. David Wilkerson was the most humble man I ever was blessed to listen to in person. He was 100% faithful to God and many many people were saved and delivered because of Bro. Wilkerson's faithfulness to God.

2016 May. I finally found the Pastor I've been looking for my entire walk with Christ. I can't get enough of his teachings on TH-cam. I was looking forward to one day possibly meeting this powerfully gifted Shepard of the Lord. He saved my life "literally" with his Anguish sermon. I guess my ultimate goal is to see him in Heaven. I was blessed to have met Pastor David Wilkerson in my youth. I was a troubled wayward juvenile and he was asked to come and speak over the children in a reform school. It was the most powerful God encounter I had and it stayed with me. I would like more people to have a heart and caring as this man had. I want that boldness and love from within!!

He did certainly hear from God & see things from God as well, many times. Scripture says in the last days people would have visions & dreams, the Spirit poured out on all flesh. A latter rain greater than the former. Everyone who had a dream, vision or genuine touch from God isn't a prophet, sometimes it's even a word of knowledge & not prophecy. So it's important to be careful with that title, bc true prophets have a very specific calling, a high accountability before God, and a responsibility most cannot carry. I'm sure you have noticed, all these current self-appointed " prophets" are nowhere near the men/ women God truly calls, or uses according to His word. One reason for that is bc that title is used foolishly, & treated as a light thing. It's a fearful thing to say " I am a prophet, & thus saith the Lord". God bless you! Edited for spelling. I started listening to Pastor Wilkerson's messages since last year when I was going through the toughest, loneliest phase of my life. The Holy Spirit used the man of God to turn my life around once more in seeking Christ with all my heart, ever since then he has become my favourite preacher thinking he was still alive and I could probably see him if God wills. It was early this year, I got to know that He has already promoted to glory. I have no idea why I felt such a warmth and love towards Pr David, words cannot describe.. I was avoiding to watch this video because I did not want to listen to his memorial service, always wanted to just know he is living in this world. However, today it was like the Holy Spirit just navigated me to this video and I am soo grateful to have had the privilege to listen to this man of God and grow in the love of Christ like so many others. One day I hope to see him along with the bible David (someone who I truly relate to) after seeing My precious Jesus.

I didn't even know he had passed. Through the grace of God with modern technology he allowed this man to reach beyond the grave and help me find the true Christ, and the true Gospel.
To me David Wilkerson still lives here on earth Thru his messages. I did not know how he went to Heaven, I have truly felt his heart for souls and it was not about him, but about The Jesus he loved and his precious promises. I listen to his sermons daily. I think the sermons were as much for then as the days we live in, in 2022. I cried all through the service, for you see, to me in 2022, he had just passed. God bless the remaining family.

I didn't make it to that service to my regret...but as a brother who has been to TSC also I know you know what I mean when I say you really had to be at that church to understand how special it was/is. Something about it. My brother was a member since the mid 90's and it was like a second church home for me. A wonderful man, and a wonderful congregation of people. Seeing the area around TSC transform like it did was very much a miracle. Blessings to you my brother, stay strong!

Just discovered by chance his messages this year 2020... have watched the Cross and the Switchblade as an evangelistic tool in my teenage year... after having watched 3 or 4 messages due to this lockdown... then this eulogy for him was published on youtube. God's message through him still is timeless.

I just learned of him last year.. during the Covid & I have NO IDEA how his preaching got past me all this time! I still listen to him if not every single day then at the very least a couple of days a week! I don’t think he really knew how much of his words were end time preaching.. for this very moment!!! Growing up in a home that was hellish...literally, My only source of comfort and knowledge about Jesus was the book Cross & the Switchblade, Run Baby Run and the other books written by Pastor Wilkerson and his people. I used to see Pastor David in passing on TV, but never paid him much attention. I was drawn by the Holy Spirit to watch one, his way of preaching was fire breathing without condemnation. He pulled no punches, yet he had a wisdom about how to deliver the message to draw people near not away. He did not compromise and I respect him and the life he led very much because of it. When the Holy Spirit gets a hold of something or someone it NEVER loses the Power of Redemption. He breathed life into these formerly dead bones of mine! What a modern day version of the Prophet Elijah🎉. I am forever indebted to God, because He could have left me standing there, with no one to care. He promised me He would be there on Time, and through one of His servants who is no longer here, except through a TH-cam video, He did just what He said, and Blessed me to be Redeemed through the words He placed into Brother Jeremiah. I call brother David Jeremiah, as like Brother Jeremiah, Brother David has a passion and weeping heart for lost souls, as I once was! Hallelujah to the lamb of God!

Wow. What Ministry. It was only IN December 2019 I became aware of Time Square Church. I had read the cross and the switchblade over 2 decades ago but did not know much about the author or his Ministry afterwards. I've been tremendously inspired and encouraged by the videos I've watched from TSC over the last few weeks including this one. Though I never knew him, Pastor Wilkerson and TSC have helped strengthened my faith. May the light of Jesus continue to shine through you his family and friends.

Our Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles warned us about false prophets and false teachers (Matthew 7:15, 16; 15:7-9;
16:5-12, 24:4, 5, 11, 24; Mark 7:6,7; Luke 12:1; Acts 20:29, 30; 2 Corinthians 11:13-15; 2 Peter 2:1-3; 1 John 4:1; Revelation 2:2).
First of all there is not the so called baptism of the holy spirit in the Bible as a teaching from our Lord Jesus Christ or
His apostles.
This teaching (the baptism of the holy spirit) is false, and is typical of Pentecostal/Charismatic groups such as Baptists, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Methodists, Assemblies of God, Anglicans/Episcopalians, and Catholics.
The individual texts taken out of context are: Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:1-6 and chapters 12-14 1 Corinthians.
I recommend you to read the whole chapters of these portions of the latter verses.
Dave wrote a book titled the cross and the switchblade with John Sherrill and they taught this false teaching.
Gary Wilkerson wrote a similar book and he says the same things.

What I have seen is that people do not study the Bible and they only comment about preachers they like. People
do not even know who is really David Wilkerson! If people really knew who they are listening to!
People have to learn about false teachers. There is the internet and they do not use it. I personally do not how to use the internet and I do not even speak English fluently but I can make myself understood a little. I have a lot of Christian
literature in Spanish that I used to study but I do not anymore. I have learned that the truth is in God´s Word only.

I was disappointed when the world news on FOX did not tell the world of the death of David Wilkerson. I found out on facebook. David Wilkerson was the most humble man I ever was blessed to listen to in person. He was 100% faithful to God and many many people were saved and delivered because of Bro. Wilkerson's faithfulness to God.
Don't be disappointed! Reason why David was not on the world news because He wasn't a friend of the world. Anyone who is friend with the world is enemy of God.

2016 May. I finally found the Pastor I've been looking for my entire walk with Christ. I can't get enough of his teachings on TH-cam. I was looking forward to one day possibly meeting this powerfully gifted Shepard of the Lord. He saved my life "literally" with his Anguish sermon. I guess my ultimate goal is to see him in Heaven. Thank you Lord for this incredible warrior whom I can truly aspire to exemplify!

I love listening to David Wilkerson. He is very transparent and humble in his teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I was blessed to have met Pastor David Wilkerson in my youth. I was a troubled wayward juvenile and he was asked to come and speak over the children in a reform school. It was the most powerful God encounter I had and it stayed with me. I would like more people to have a heart and caring as this man had. I want that boldness and love from within!!
This man's crown is going to be huge! How many of us has he touched through his obedience, how many encouraged, how many led to the Lord? And all of us are a better for it, and then we go out and touch others who will touch others... Yes,Millions have benefited by this faithful servant.

@@fernandoscreni7992 he ALWAYS said he was no prophet, he did not want that title. He would have known if he was & he wouldn't have denied or shunned it. He did certainly hear from God & see things from God as well, many times.
Scripture says in the last days people would have visions & dreams, the Spirit poured out on all flesh. A latter rain greater than the former. Everyone who had a dream, vision or genuine touch from God isn't a prophet, sometimes it's even a word of knowledge & not prophecy. So it's important to be careful with that title, bc true prophets have a very specific calling, a high accountability before God, and a responsibility most cannot carry. I'm sure you have noticed, all these current self-appointed " prophets" are nowhere near the men/ women God truly calls, or uses according to His word. One reason for that is bc that title is used foolishly, & treated as a light thing. It's a fearful thing to say " I am a prophet, & thus saith the Lord".

I started listening to Pastor Wilkerson's messages since last year when I was going through the toughest, loneliest phase of my life. The Holy Spirit used the man of God to turn my life around once more in seeking Christ with all my heart, ever since then he has become my favourite preacher thinking he was still alive and I could probably see him if God wills. It was early this year, I got to know that He has already promoted to glory. I have no idea why I felt such a warmth and love towards Pr David, words cannot describe.. I was avoiding to watch this video because I did not want to listen to his memorial service, always wanted to just know he is living in this world. However, today it was like the Holy Spirit just navigated me to this video and I am soo grateful to have had the privilege to listen to this man of God and grow in the love of Christ like so many others. One day I hope to see him along with the bible David (someone who I truly relate to) after seeing My precious Jesus.

You can hear and feel the Love of the Holy Spirit coming through Pastor Wilkerson's and that's thanks to the humbleness of his Spirit and heart and love for God's people and all people.
I didn't even know he had passed. Through the grace of God with modern technology he allowed this man to reach beyond the grave and help me find the true Christ, and the true Gospel.
To me David Wilkerson still lives here on earth Thru his messages. I did not know how he went to Heaven, I have truly felt his heart for souls and it was not about him, but about The Jesus he loved and his precious promises. I listen to his sermons daily. I think the sermons were as much for then as the days we live in, in 2022. I cried all through the service, for you see, to me in 2022, he had just passed. God bless the remaining family.

I was there for David Wilkerson's memorial at TSC. I was so broken of his passing away that I think it took me almost a year to return -
I didn't make it to that service to my regret...but as a brother who has been to TSC also I know you know what I mean when I say you really had to be at that church to understand how special it was/is. Something about it. My brother was a member since the mid 90's and it was like a second church home for me. A wonderful man, and a wonderful congregation of people. Seeing the area around TSC transform like it did was very much a miracle. Blessings to you my brother, stay strong!

Just discovered by chance his messages this year 2020... have watched the Cross and the Switchblade as an evangelistic tool in my teenage year... after having watched 3 or 4 messages due to this lockdown... then this eulogy for him was published on youtube. God's message through him still is timeless.
I recently found Pastor Wilkerson on U-tube and save all his sermons I could find. He is one awesome man. Rest in God's presence knowing you are still saving souls beyond the grave. ❤

I just learned of him last year.. during the Covid & I have NO IDEA how his preaching got past me all this time! I still listen to him if not every single day then at the very least a couple of days a week! I don’t think he really knew how much of his words were end time preaching.. for this very moment!!! NO ONE is preaching like this right now! though I’m glad he didn’t live to see these times.. it’s still heartbreaking to watch this! He is literally like a pastor to me even now! 😢

Growing up in a home that was hellish...literally, My only source of comfort and knowledge about Jesus was the book Cross & the Switchblade, Run Baby Run and the other books written by Pastor Wilkerson and his people. He led me to the Lord through his words. Thank you Pastor, I will see you when I get there.

I used to see Pastor David in passing on TV, but never paid him much attention. I was drawn by the Holy Spirit to watch one, his way of preaching was fire breathing without condemnation. He pulled no punches, yet he had a wisdom about how to deliver the message to draw people near not away. He did not compromise and I respect him and the life he led very much because of it. When the Holy Spirit gets a hold of something or someone it NEVER loses the Power of Redemption. He breathed life into these formerly dead bones of mine! What a modern day version of the Prophet Elijah🎉. I am forever indebted to God, because He could have left me standing there, with no one to care. He promised me He would be there on Time, and through one of His servants who is no longer here, except through a TH-cam video, He did just what He said, and Blessed me to be Redeemed through the words He placed into Brother Jeremiah. I call brother David Jeremiah, as like Brother Jeremiah, Brother David has a passion and weeping heart for lost souls, as I once was! Hallelujah to the lamb of God!

I never met your dad, but I just want you to know that he is still ministering to this day. I look forward to listening to him via internet all the time. I just can’t stop crying. I never knew him but here in the last week or so I have been watching his sermons in my search for the Lord. God truly touched my heart and opened my eyes through this man of God.
Wow. What Ministry. It was only IN December 2019 I became aware of Time Square Church. I had read the cross and the switchblade over 2 decades ago but did not know much about the author or his Ministry afterwards. I've been tremendously inspired and encouraged by the videos I've watched from TSC over the last few weeks including this one. Though I never knew him, Pastor Wilkerson and TSC have helped strengthened my faith. May the light of Jesus continue to shine through you his family and friends.
