I was a minister who fell to lust. The lost is so great it overwhelms you. The war is a daily event. The guilt and shame is tremendously powerful. I thought for a while that I lost my family and ministry but that was a lie. I didnt lose anything I gave it all away. This wonderful gift of family and ministry i gave away. I am daily having victory by praising God through all the hurt and pain. He still loves me and will use me again. Thank you Jesus for your grace and mercy.

According to the Book of Revelation (Revelation 2:14), Balaam told King Balak how to get the Israelites to commit sin by enticing them with sexual immorality and food sacrificed to idols. The Israelites fell into transgression due to these traps and God sent a deadly plague to them as a result (Numbers 31:16). I faced quite the silent war in my youth - addiction, depression, insomnia, self-harm - God met me at my lowest point in it, but the struggle continued for many years. I didn't understand why He wouldn't just set me free. Now, after all this time, I've come to understand the blessings of suffering (humility, discipline, faith, etc.), and that's a treasure well worth the cost. Trust in His providence - He knows what He is doing.

I just found this wonderful man of God and did not know he's gone to be with the Lord. Hmmm checked it up and wondered why Wikipedia stated he was driving without a seatbelt and crossed into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a tractor trailer, he died but his wife was injured? What's going on?? Is that nonsense or true news? Also found out that he is the author of The Cross and The Switchblade...never read it before but certainly a very familiar title.

My brother-in-law told me that several years ago David Wilkerson went to our home country of Romania, East of Europa and preached at a church. He was in the audience. Brother Wilkerson had a prophecy for that church. My brother-in-law said that that prophecy he had all came true several years later. I miss David Wilkerson, a true man of God. We are weakened if we don't stay in God's word every day and pray all day. Most people that are having extreme struggles are not doing that. I have been a backslider who has doubted Gods forgiveness for sometime. I have recently returned to God and i am fighting a battle so intense that i cannot describe with words. My dear you said it all. It is really rare to see transparent preachers now our days. Every one claim to be free from trouble and they said those who are facing challenges are weak in faith. But the Bible makes it clear that if you want to live a godly life must suffer persecution. The Bible is full of trouble. Every one who worship God in truth in the Bible went through hell on earth.
Wow, a man who has been through trials and grows through them. What an example. He is preaching to me today, how many times this past year I prayed and told God that I had no more words. I have been listening to Rev. Wilkerson for a week or more I think it has been and all of the sermons have been a tremendous help in my life. Just a few days ago I had listen to the one about going through the fire and I had lost my Husband to cancer in 2014 and I have leaned on God more since then and after I heard that message I found myself dealing with a another big battle little did I know was festering but now had showed itself. I took that message and went the The LORD and God has been giving me the grace and mercy each day and I know He will help me to endure and whatever the out come I have decided to give God all the glory. Because God is Good all the time.
Amen I am still bothering him and well he turned my world upside down the past several years. Actually it is God who turned my world upside down and he used Satan against me to work out of me everything he can't use in me. I must disagree with Pastor Wilkerson here all these troubles are not wars of the flesh they are demonic most of all. I know what it is to feel like you are standing against the hordes of hell and having no hope. The Lord Jesus delivered me of demons of Schizophrenia and ADHD and well that was part of my private war the past several years of my life.
Mr.Wilkerson was a godly man full of wisdom so he speaks from a spiritual dimension that’s not always understood by others, but it doesn’t nullify the truth he speaks. The words backs it up so just because I don’t understand exactly what he is saying doesn’t discredit its authenticity. The word succinctly lets us know in many scriptures we can’t serve God with our mind, although we renew it for the purpose of subjecting it to His truth to be led by His spirit.Our mind is in our hearts spiritually, scripture says as we think in our heart,so are we.So our minds don’t want to submit, but it’s our (circumcised)heart becomes subject to His Spirit which leads us into all truth.The point is the flesh is where we have a spiritual war. Schizophrenia and ADHD are from diabolical forces or spirits that were attached to fear or anxiety. That stems from us lacking knowledge and application of Gods word,which results in us lacking our true identity so all these disorders are manifestations within the flesh. The flesh lies to us if we allow it to and results in a trillion dollar pharmaceutical industry profiting off the ignorance of people and not necessarily their sickness, because they usually get sick from being ignorant about The medication they have and the spiritual issue that they try to resolve with a medicinal remedy. The Lord says many perish for lack of knowledge and it is certainly true. Just view how much medication is being created to suppress all the spiritual issues from demons,curses, disobedience or just ignorance. The carnal mind doesn’t understand the deep things of God. Schizophrenia could be normal for someone if that person has no standard to measure it by. The battle is in the principalities, kingdoms, rulers,etc, but the war is in our flesh.Its our minds that yield to our heart and our heart that yields to spirits( good or evil), the flesh just carries it out. So there is a process, but the root of war is for the ownership of our soul, which is linked to our flesh.Proverbs Speaking in terms of carnality, the word says in Proverbs 8:7 tells us the mind (carnality) mind is enmity against God, it is not subject to the laws of God, neither indeed can be. He cannot be defeated by any man, or any multitude of men. He is quite strong and good at what he does. He goes by many names, but all we need to know is that he is a deceiver. A liar. Someone who despises the truth and goes against reason. The enemy of our souls. One of his most common practices is creating doubt. He used it on Eve in the Garden and still uses it today. He contradicts what God says, but ever so subtly. The best way to combat this barrage of temptation is to be grounded in the word of God and to meditate day and night on what it says. This is what Christ did in the wilderness, He was filled with the Holy Spirit when tempted, but with fasting, prayer, and the spoken Word, the enemy was resisted and ended up fleeing. This is the example we are to take hold of. Now, I know that we can be our own worst enemies. Our own desires commonly tempt us and keep us from doing what we should be doing. God has given us time and the freewill to decide how to manage it, but oftentimes we squander it, keeping ourselves busy with unprofitable things. Like many people in this current generation, I have wasted my life on entertainment, but cannot give ground to it anymore. Hold on to the wisdom of God. Embrace his truth. Meditate on these things while contemplating how to spend our time here on this Earth. Remember, if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. We must be about our Father's business. You will see greater preaching in the very near future Apostate TV because when Christ comes back in his manchild during the first three and a half years of the tribulation they will have the latter rain anointing and will usher in the coming end times revival. Hi Guy New. If you have invited Jesus Christ into your heart as Lord and Saviour. He came in by the power of the Holy Spirit who will never leave you nor forsake you. We can drift away from Him by not continuing to listen to His still small voice, by not continuing to surrender our will, seeking/knocking/and asking! A scripture that really blesses me is Phillppeans 2:13-14 'God is all the while at work in use giving us both the will and desire to do what pleases Him. ..Even the desire to please God is GIVEN to us! Wow!! Awesome....Holy Spirit is working within the believer and God the Father is also causing everything to work for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose! If you seek Him you will find him when you have sought him with all your heart! After 50+ years of being a Christian.. I'm more hungry for His presence and am more aware of how much I desperately need Him/totally dependent on Him. I'd advise you to find truly godly Christians to associate with, people who will sow into your life spiritually. But continue praying/reading the Word and trusting!!! May the Lord richly bless you.

In Psalms it says I am so troubled I can not speak. There have been times when to talk just made it worse. When Job had 3 friends who came to help they sat with him and did not speak a word for days. When someone is in that kind of place, don't try to force them to talk, just be there quietly with them, or maybe pray a little softly, maybe prepare them some food if they want it or perhaps ask if there is some chore you can do for them. maybe play some soft music if they want it for me I could not endure bright lights, loud sounds, talking, crowds, having to made a decision or motion and in those times when there was pain it was so bad it hurt to pray I would imagine I was in a peaceful place - that was the only help it was like when I use to have migrane headaches. May God help you if you are going through this.
Had a private war going on in my heart. Pornography fantasies the Lord dangled my soul over hell lead me to repentance and asked for the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The Lord gave me victory. Now realized I have to carry my cross every day. Family watches my every move

i listened to another one of his sermons about anguish. anyone suffering from what we see coming and the condition of our loved ones souls, i highly encourage to listen to that message. Because of it, I realize now, the anguish I've suffered isn't my anguish, it's the Lords anguish that He shares with me so that I can pray according to His will. David didn't have Christ, the promises of the hope of eternal glory or the finished work of the cross. If we try to deal with this war the way he did we will be missing out on so very, very much. Pastors, preachers, our brothers and sisters are awesome! But at the end of the day, it’s you and Jesus - we can’t rely on folks to take the pain of suffering away. Prayer is the power and sonic boom that we possess - USE IT!!!!
It helps to know that God does not afflict us with bad things, those are the weapons of the enemy. God allows trials to come upon us, because it is through them that we are purified and strengthened. We must remember that we live in a fallen world. No matter how bad problems get, keep your eyes fastened on Jesus, not your troubles. He promised to never leave us or forsake us. Trust Him.
Dear brother's and sisters in Christ I've been back sliding and fell in to using a few days a week not that it's any better. But I have been trying so hard but maybe not hard enough. I've cried and begged for forgiveness and help. I just listened to this sermon and it’s still anointed. He was surely guided by the Holy Spirit no doubt in my mind he spoke the truth in love . Even though he has passed and gone home to be with the lord, he left us his voice and gods truth . This was just what I needed to hear, God is great! I've been tested for exactly three years in a battle fighting for my faith. It was so dark and turmolous that I kept crying to God to stop it. I cried out like never before. I fasted for 21 days.. did everything possible. The devil even tried to take my life but failed. I even got to the point where I said "God doesn't make sense to me"... the devil convinced me God abandoned me. Let me tell you that I fell in the pit of hell, desperation, evil around me. One good thing about it is that God prepared me ahead of time. He gave me dreams where I knew something was coming. I'm my dream I was fully covered by a wave, to my left was a Rock. I was holding onto that rock for dear life. I knew in my dream that if I held onto the rock I would be okay. I came out exactly three years. I'm different. Patient. Nothing bothers you anymore when you battled against the devil. I'm my worst moment I screamed out at God in agony.:"If you turn your back on me I am turning my back on you." I am crying just telling you where I have been. At this moment I was still holding on to God for my dear life. I saw his glory just as darkness got deeper. Then he spoke. Said this. There is still little good found in you for you have decided to rid yourself of idols.😊. It calmed my spirit and brought comfort. Today I still struggle as to why he allowed this because I have seen brokenness like you can't imagine. Divorce, every kind of abuse. I still want answers because I feel hurt as to why God allowed it.? But I get none. This did happen when I said God I totally serve you with all my being and heart.

God allowed the devil to afflict Job. Not just mentally but physically. Job had those same questions but just like with you he brought Job out victorious. Sometimes he allows the devil tempt us and cause afflictions as a test. See the devils biggest thing that he likes to taunt God with is that we only serve him because of the blessings. That is why he rewards us so diligently when we come out of trials because it’s a slap in the devils face. When we overcome it God gets the victory as well and gets to show the enemy that not only did we come out victoriously but we come out still praising God. I haven’t been threw many trials yet being newly saved but when I read your comment Job immediately came to mind. Be encouraged and keep walking with God. Trust that despite it all it was for a purpose and a reason and when you see God that will come up and I’m sure if you hang on and continue to walk up right you will hear “well done” at the end of this race. Sometimes when i read these comments , its such a comfort to know im not alone in the war. Like Peter says that your brothers and sisters suffer the same afflictions as you....but it really is a comfort sometimes to read here your own story in others words , to know im not alone in the fight. I was a minister who fell to lust. The lost is so great it overwhelms you. The war is a daily event. The guilt and shame is tremendously powerful. I thought for a while that I lost my family and ministry but that was a lie. I didnt lose anything I gave it all away. This wonderful gift of family and ministry i gave away. I am daily having victory by praising God through all the hurt and pain. He still loves me and will use me again. Thank you Jesus for your grace and mercy.

According to the Book of Revelation (Revelation 2:14), Balaam told King Balak how to get the Israelites to commit sin by enticing them with sexual immorality and food sacrificed to idols. The Israelites fell into transgression due to these traps and God sent a deadly plague to them as a result (Numbers 31:16). I faced quite the silent war in my youth - addiction, depression, insomnia, self-harm - God met me at my lowest point in it, but the struggle continued for many years. I didn't understand why He wouldn't just set me free. Now, after all this time, I've come to understand the blessings of suffering (humility, discipline, faith, etc.), and that's a treasure well worth the cost. Trust in His providence - He knows what He is doing.

I just found this wonderful man of God and did not know he's gone to be with the Lord. Hmmm checked it up and wondered why Wikipedia stated he was driving without a seatbelt and crossed into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a tractor trailer, he died but his wife was injured? What's going on?? Is that nonsense or true news? Also found out that he is the author of The Cross and The Switchblade...never read it before but certainly a very familiar title.
I just come across recently and love watching videos of him speak. He has a humility about him, a brokenness, and I believe his ministry surely gave glory to God.

I went through a silent war for a year. By far hardest time in my life. i remember crying and saying the same thing, I cant do this anymore God im losing faith. when i would get off my knees i would see a little miracle, as if a reminder he was still there even though i felt alone. GOD is great!

My brother-in-law told me that several years ago David Wilkerson went to our home country of Romania, East of Europa and preached at a church. He was in the audience. Brother Wilkerson had a prophecy for that church. My brother-in-law said that that prophecy he had all came true several years later. I miss David Wilkerson, a true man of God. I have been a backslider who has doubted Gods forgiveness for sometime. I have recently returned to God and i am fighting a battle so intense that i cannot describe with words. One day ill feel at ease and ill believe God is saving me and the next im in this dark pit trembling in fear and overwhelmed with this feeling of pure doom and pleading for deliverance.
I have a bunch of verses i take comfort in but the rest of the bible scares me and even in the OT i read About Gods judgements on the nations and its like they are being directed at me.

My dear you said it all. It is really rare to see transparent preachers now our days. Every one claim to be free from trouble and they said those who are facing challenges are weak in faith. But the Bible makes it clear that if you want to live a godly life must suffer persecution. The Bible is full of trouble. Every one who worship God in truth in the Bible went through hell on earth.
Wow, a man who has been through trials and grows through them. What an example. He is preaching to me today, how many times this past year I prayed and told God that I had no more words. I have been listening to Rev. Wilkerson for a week or more I think it has been and all of the sermons have been a tremendous help in my life. Just a few days ago I had listen to the one about going through the fire and I had lost my Husband to cancer in 2014 and I have leaned on God more since then and after I heard that message I found myself dealing with a another big battle little did I know was festering but now had showed itself. I took that message and went the The LORD and God has been giving me the grace and mercy each day and I know He will help me to endure and whatever the out come I have decided to give God all the glory. Because God is Good all the time.

Amen I am still bothering him and well he turned my world upside down the past several years. Actually it is God who turned my world upside down and he used Satan against me to work out of me everything he can't use in me. I must disagree with Pastor Wilkerson here all these troubles are not wars of the flesh they are demonic most of all. I know what it is to feel like you are standing against the hordes of hell and having no hope. The Lord Jesus delivered me of demons of Schizophrenia and ADHD and well that was part of my private war the past several years of my life.
Mr.Wilkerson was a godly man full of wisdom so he speaks from a spiritual dimension that’s not always understood by others, but it doesn’t nullify the truth he speaks. The words backs it up so just because I don’t understand exactly what he is saying doesn’t discredit its authenticity.
The word succinctly lets us know in many scriptures we can’t serve God with our mind, although we renew it for the purpose of
subjecting it to His truth to be led by His spirit.Our mind is in our hearts spiritually, scripture says as we think in our heart,so are we.So our minds
don’t want to submit, but it’s our (circumcised)heart becomes subject to His Spirit which leads us into all truth.The point is the
flesh is where we have a spiritual war. Schizophrenia and ADHD are from diabolical forces or spirits
that were attached to fear or anxiety. That stems from us lacking knowledge and application of Gods word,which
results in us lacking our true identity so all these disorders are manifestations within the flesh. The flesh lies to us if we
allow it to and results in a trillion dollar pharmaceutical industry profiting off the ignorance of people and not necessarily
their sickness, because they usually get sick from being ignorant about The medication they have and the spiritual issue that
they try to resolve with a medicinal remedy. The Lord says many perish for lack of knowledge and it is certainly true.
Just view how much medication is being created to suppress all the spiritual issues from demons,curses, disobedience or just ignorance.
The carnal mind doesn’t understand the deep things of God. Even Paul was aware the fight is in our flesh in Romans 7:15-24

Otherwise , we would think any behavior is normal, since sin would be the justification . Schizophrenia could be normal for someone if that person has no standard to measure it by. The battle is in the principalities, kingdoms, rulers,etc, but the war is in our flesh.Its our minds that yield to our heart and our heart that yields to spirits( good or evil), the flesh just carries it out. So there is a process, but the root of war is for the ownership of our soul, which is linked to our flesh.Proverbs Speaking in terms of carnality, the word says in Proverbs 8:7 tells us the mind (carnality) mind is enmity against God, it is not subject to the laws of God, neither indeed can be. James 4:1-10

You have an enemy. An adversary. Someone who actively opposes you. Someone whose only desire is to see you suffer and to fail.
And no, I'm not talking about that person you work with who pushes all your buttons. Neither do I mean your former lover or friend. It's not your neighbor, nor the police, or some politician. It's not your mother or father, even though you may not speak to them anymore. This enemy I speak of is not flesh and blood.
He is unseen and virtually unknown. He cannot be defeated by any man, or any multitude of men. He is quite strong and good at what he does. He goes by many names, but all we need to know is that he is a deceiver. A liar. Someone who despises the truth and goes against reason. The enemy of our souls.
One of his most common practices is creating doubt. He used it on Eve in the Garden and still uses it today. He contradicts what God says, but ever so subtly. The best way to combat this barrage of temptation is to be grounded in the word of God and to meditate day and night on what it says. This is what Christ did in the wilderness, He was filled with the Holy Spirit when tempted, but with fasting, prayer, and the spoken Word, the enemy was resisted and ended up fleeing. This is the example we are to take hold of.
Now, I know that we can be our own worst enemies. Our own desires commonly tempt us and keep us from doing what we should be doing. God has given us time and the freewill to decide how to manage it, but oftentimes we squander it, keeping ourselves busy with unprofitable things. Like many people in this current generation, I have wasted my life on entertainment, but cannot give ground to it anymore.
Hold on to the wisdom of God. Embrace his truth. Meditate on these things while contemplating how to spend our time here on this Earth.
Remember, if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. We must be about our Father's business.

Hi Guy New. If you have invited Jesus Christ into your heart as Lord and Saviour. He came in by the power of the Holy Spirit who will never leave you nor forsake you.
We can drift away from Him by not continuing to listen to His still small voice, by not continuing to surrender our will, seeking/knocking/and asking!
A scripture that really blesses me is Phillppeans 2:13-14 'God is all the while at work in use giving us both the will and desire to do what pleases Him. ..Even the desire to please God is GIVEN to us! Wow!! Awesome....Holy Spirit is working within the believer and God the Father is also causing everything to work for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose!
If you seek Him you will find him when you have sought him with all your heart! After 50+ years of being a Christian.. I'm more hungry for His presence and am more aware of how much I desperately need Him/totally dependent on Him.
I'd advise you to find truly godly Christians to associate with, people who will sow into your life spiritually. But continue praying/reading the Word and trusting!!!

When Job had 3 friends who came to help
they sat with him and did not speak a word for days.
When someone is in that kind of place,
don't try to force them to talk,
just be there quietly with them, or maybe pray a little softly,
maybe prepare them some food if they want it
or perhaps ask if there is some chore you can do for them.
maybe play some soft music if they want it
for me I could not endure bright lights, loud sounds, talking, crowds,
having to made a decision
or motion
and in those times when there was pain
it was so bad it hurt to pray
I would imagine I was in a peaceful place - that was the only help
it was like when I use to have migrane headaches.

i listened to another one of his sermons about anguish. anyone suffering from what we see coming and the condition of our loved ones souls, i highly encourage to listen to that message. Because of it, I realize now, the anguish I've suffered isn't my anguish, it's the Lords anguish that He shares with me so that I can pray according to His will. This is war and we are His soldiers called to a post to fulfill our ministries until its our day to go be with our people & our Lord. 2 tim2:4No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Praise God in the darkest times. Cry out to Him through the name of Jesus Christ and peace will come. David didn't have Christ, the promises of the hope of eternal glory or the finished work of the cross. If we try to deal with this war the way he did we will be missing out on so very, very much. We can have joy, peace, all the fruit of the Spirit and love of God wherever we are if we choose to put Christ first Accept Him as the only way to God and confess that He has fought the battle...and the war. Because He was forsaken on the cross, we NEVER EVER have to be forsaken now, if we approach the throne of God by praising Him in Jesus name.

It helps to know that God does not afflict us with bad things, those are the weapons of the enemy. God allows trials to come upon us, because it is through them that we are purified and strengthened. We must remember that we live in a fallen world. No matter how bad problems get, keep your eyes fastened on Jesus, not your troubles. He promised to never leave us or forsake us. Trust Him.
Dear brother's and sisters in Christ I've been back sliding and fell in to using a few days a week not that it's any better. But I have been trying so hard but maybe not hard enough. I've cried and begged for forgiveness and help. So I come here and ask for prayers please pray I want my life back in order to serve lord and others with my head up and pure in my body again for Jesus Christ I can't stand my self. I have found an end to my pain and suffering and conflict in my life and it was to give my life TOTALLY to Jesus and hold nothing back. Like Paul said I was crucified with Christ I live yet not I but the life I now live I live by faith in the Son of GOd who gave himself for me. Or what will a man give for his soul, he who seeks to save his life will lose it and who loses his life for my sake will find it
I just listened to this sermon and it’s still anointed. He was surely guided by the Holy Spirit no doubt in my mind he spoke the truth in love . Even though he has passed and gone home to be with the lord, he left us his voice and gods truth . This was just what I needed to hear, God is great! I've been tested for exactly three years in a battle fighting for my faith. It was so dark and turmolous that I kept crying to God to stop it. I cried out like never before. I fasted for 21 days.. did everything possible. The devil even tried to take my life but failed. I even got to the point where I said "God doesn't make sense to me"... the devil convinced me God abandoned me. Let me tell you that I fell in the pit of hell, desperation, evil around me. One good thing about it is that God prepared me ahead of time. He gave me dreams where I knew something was coming. I'm my dream I was fully covered by a wave, to my left was a Rock. I was holding onto that rock for dear life. I knew in my dream that if I held onto the rock I would be okay. I came out exactly three years. I'm different. Patient. Nothing bothers you anymore when you battled against the devil. I'm my worst moment I screamed out at God in agony.:"If you turn your back on me I am turning my back on you." I am crying just telling you where I have been. At this moment I was still holding on to God for my dear life. I saw his glory just as darkness got deeper. Then he spoke. Said this. There is still little good found in you for you have decided to rid yourself of idols.😊. It calmed my spirit and brought comfort.
Today I still struggle as to why he allowed this because I have seen brokenness like you can't imagine. Divorce, every kind of abuse.
I still want answers because I feel hurt as to why God allowed it.? But I get none. This did happen when I said God I totally serve you with all my being and heart.

God allowed the devil to afflict Job. Not just mentally but physically. Job had those same questions but just like with you he brought Job out victorious. Sometimes he allows the devil tempt us and cause afflictions as a test. See the devils biggest thing that he likes to taunt God with is that we only serve him because of the blessings. That is why he rewards us so diligently when we come out of trials because it’s a slap in the devils face. When we overcome it God gets the victory as well and gets to show the enemy that not only did we come out victoriously but we come out still praising God. I haven’t been threw many trials yet being newly saved but when I read your comment Job immediately came to mind. Be encouraged and keep walking with God. Trust that despite it all it was for a purpose and a reason and when you see God that will come up and I’m sure if you hang on and continue to walk up right you will hear “well done” at the end of this race. Sometimes when i read these comments , its such a comfort to know im not alone in the war. Like Peter says that your brothers and sisters suffer the same afflictions as you....but it really is a comfort sometimes to read here your own story in others words , to know im not alone in the fight.
