Completely agree. Modest mouse is amazing! This was the first song I ever heard from them when I was 14 years old. 23 years later I still listen to modest mouse at least 3 days a week. They NEVER get old.

I've watched this set a lot of times, and i have to say ... I love how at 6:50, the guy in the grey sweatshirt, who has been standing there stoic-faced and unmoving for the entire show, gives just a slight head nod right when the hard section drops in ... like he's just giving a subtle inclination of the epic musical performance that is unfolding in front of him

Thank you. That’s some of the absolute best Isaac Brock guitar work I have heard on TH-cam. His use of harmonics and wammy bar are beautiful. The three piece MM back in the day was off the charts.

Why be obsessed with whats best? I think you are more concerned with what people think about you and not what you really enjoy. So the low tech recording device, gritty microphones, and cheap instruments are better than the actual studio equipment and brilliant new instruments? yeah that makes sense if you don't think about it. also why would anyone listen to a guy who can't even use "there" correctly?
