If you are familiar with Mlab. They like to add more customizable options for a new board after the release. The Add that shoobs shown is the Xmas edition for the 2.0, and this year the Xmas edition board will defenitely be the 3.0. Maybe the badge frame will return on that design, since there have been dozens of different badges produced, and their community program allows any artist who can rally enough support for their designs to print their own badge. There are themes from animes, memes and famous paintings it’s really cool to see. Matrix lab in my opinion is probably the most unique brand out there in terms of what they offer in the hobby and has really carved a niche

@@uncarriable Yes usually the GB runs in Christmas. Also they just redisgned the back with a badge slot and you can change your config to that if you joined the GB. The new design is really elegant imo
i hope they make the new / updated Vita to have same mount style as this 8XV 3.0.

video quality is always good but the audio is never quite balanced. the shoobs talks without a script part is fine but the earlier audio is much quieter. cheers

I love this board’s look, i’m a sucker for the led screens but sadly I can’t justify buying this for so much with the new tkl market becoming cheaper. Good vid still though just not my board :(

the "eye" gves me an idea. lots off keyboards come with a gimmicky oled screen; a way cooler and more practical addition to a custom keyboard would be a fingerprint sensor.

Why are WKL so popular? i mean besides gaming, why people chose the Window keyless version? just trying to understand before i order.
Looks mostly. I think WKL boards look better, but I actually use the Windows key regularly. So I don't opt for them often. If you don't need the Windows key, or are ok mapping it to another position, you can go WKL if you like how it looks.

Real question. When a company send you a board is it just for reviewing purposes and you have to send it back or do you get to keep it? Sorry if that's a dumb question.
Usually it's case by case for content creators. Sometimes they are permitted to keep the board and sometimes they have to send it back. Sometimes there's also a deal made like if someone pays for shipping the other party will get something out of it.

3.0 is kinda disappointing for me. Definitely not a looker in Matrix boards. The designer is not Cain afaik. That OLED window reminds me of those glasses in Dragon Ball..
Hmm idk if a split top case can be S-Tier. And no qmk or via ...
The top case is one piece, the seam on the side is due to the angled side profile
Also the Vita OLED was about as small as it should have gone. This versions OLED is a joke imo.

I love the aesthetic of matrix boards, I’m just waiting for them to do a 75% as I’m bored to death with the endless TKL’s
Also I too love Modo but I think you should have gone with 8008 for this build IMO 🙂
