Fly fishing week in North Uist Scotland . The video clips were filmed by my friend David and I did the editing. It shows a few wild brown trout and us fighting the high winds.
The spinning and worming boys in question, had not purchased a ticket and as far as I know the whole of North Uist , inland lochs and rivers are fly only. I have done a vast amount of fishing with all kinds of baits and lures over 60 years but I do like to abide by the fishery rules. Regards Rod
Hi many thanks for your last comments. I often give the wrong impression as I am quiet with an odd sense of humour but I do get a lot of joy out of life mixing and sharing ideas with fellow anglers and I value your comments. Regards Rod
Enjoyed that! Lovely place. Thanks✌
Many thanks to you.Rod
Nice to see fly fishing buddies enjoying themselves in such a lovely environment.
The only disappointing thing was seeing fish handled with dry hands.
Hi you do have a valid about the fish, guilty as charged. Thanks Rod
You should come to Islay, no spinning aloud on the trout lochs. It's great for the flyfisher.
Sounds good to me , is there low cost accommodation there? Rod
That's the only problem. Better hiring a campervan.
Loch obisery one of my favourite places to fish, great sport on intermediate line and lures some massive pollock great sport on the 6 weight.
Hi we concentrate on the trout, but we also had a great time with the Pollock on another loch. Thanks 👍
Thoroughly enjoyable and a feature length this time 😊
Thanks, I hope to do another one soon.
Good video but the music was so annoying thought laurel and hardy was about to appear other than that good video
I made a mistake on a few videos with over the top music , on the newer videos I have toned it down a lot. Many thanks. Regards Rod
been fishing fly only for 30 years that's my choice but the spinning and worming boys are also allowed to enjoy themself😩
